My mom left this hell realm on 12/23/99, at age 53. I'm Well over 57 now. I've literally lost everyone, then the love of my life, my beautiful Maltese boy Finnian. I had a vet come to my home 11/10/22. I feel no joy anymore, looking forward to leaving.
Is it normal that I feel angry that some people get to have their parents around until they themselves are in their 60s and 70s? I lost my dad when I was 29 and now my mom came down with dementia in her mid 60s. I see people my mom’s age whose parents are still alive.
@@boopster4033 Unfortunately all of us are going to lose people and suffer with sadness. This realm does that to us and I have no words to say that will make you feel joy except for the fact that you are simply not alone in this place.
@@RedPillOption Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate your videos because you get a it...a rare find these days. I hope our loved ones are not reincarnated back here. I'm truly sorry for your loss & all our suffering❣❣❣
My mom died from cancer when I was 14. I processed it. I accept the impermanence of others in my life. I think the death of parents hit hardest those who have an attachment.
May your mom rest in peace. From time to time i'm scared about the fact my parents are going to die some day even though they are in good shape for now, they are in their 60s and dad soon 70. Very thankful for the best possible parents they gave and keep giving me and my brother and sister all the possible support and everything else that they can. This life is so brutal in that aspect as well that everyone is going to lose their most important persons in their life.
Lot of similarities in our life patterns, brother! I am 41 too, lost mum 10 years ago , October 6 Trying to live a minimalistic life and hold a pretty similar worldview. I resonate very much with pretty much everything you say and have said in your videos so far, except for maybe anti-natalism ,I support being child free, I have chosen to be child free myself. Keep the videos coming, brother, love your channel!
The fact that you can forgive that means you still have a lot of good in you.... I still resent my parents for putting me in this reality of hardship and pain.. But I know I will get to forgiving them one day and hopefully so I can finally be at peace, however I dont think I will ever achieve true peace until death....
Sorry to hear that you lost your mother so early. Must have been very difficult being the one who found her, nobody should have to experience that. I lost my mother early too, I was 17 when she died.
I sometimes wonder if our early lives maximize suffering somehow. I know new agers would say they maximize learning, but idk. In my case I was very attached to the idea of family, I always cared a lot about it and I wanted to belong to a normal family. On the other hand, my parents divorced early and I grew up with my grandparents. Later on my grandparents divorced and I lost most of my remaining family. I've experienced a lot of betrayal by family members as well. I had a tendency to be trustful towards them, I suppose, which I lost over time. So I wonder, was it a coincidence that someone who cared so much about family was born into these circumstances? It seems unlikely.
Mom's are great! At least mine was :) It's great that you're a minimalist Nick, it's definitely the way to live bud! Makes uprooting so much easier and if you're renting that's not such a bad thing, allows for flexibility and not being tied down.
I don’t mean to be negative, but it seems that life takes away everything that’s dear to us, sooner or later. It is this ridiculous $h!t show that is both alluring and meaningless.

Little bit weird to mention your mom not loving the demographic replacement going on and then saying well she's not perfect.
