  • Hey friends!! I wanted to do a sit down/chat style video today going over the different ways I completely transformed my life by switching up a few things in my morning & evening routine. It really took just analyzing my current routine to see what was and wasn’t working for me in the stage I’m at in life. I’m a mom to 4 boys so finding a way to prioritize them and their needs + my own seemed impossible but I PROMISE you, it’s not! 👏🏻 So I wanted to share a few of the small adjustments that made BIG improvements in my life to hopefully inspire someone who was maybe in the same shoes I was in not too long ago.🫶🏻

I've said it before....this is your calling, to be a motivational speaker. Something clicks through you. I know I personally felt motivated by your April/May video where you stated, "Six months will still come". I started losing weight, being mindful of eating habits, focusing on positivity and working out. I've lost 25 lbs in almost 3 months. It all started with you girl. Thank you! 😍

Love seeing these summaries on other videos so I'm sharing what I've written down!
    - Have a solid evening routine.
    - Have everything prepared the night before (ex: clothes, meals, etc).
    - Get inspired (ex: listen to an encouraging podcast, etc).
    - [If you want to improve your health] Pre-log your meals the night before.
    - Move your body (find something YOU love).

I think this is a MUCH better approach than waking up to do ALL OF THE THINGS you don't want to do. As most content creators suggest. I am a natural early riser, but one of the motivating things about getting out of the bed for me, although I will naturally always rise early, is I get to reset my home, relax, plan, etc. before my kids awake. The mornings are my happy place and my grandmother always taught me that. I love the mornings and feel this is the most sacred time of the day.

After listening to you, I did that yesterday. I started writing in my journal again too and used your plan tips. I’m really hoping this is a new start for me. I’m a new empty nester and this season of my life has been hard. My world revolved around being a mom, even though I have a full time job outside my home too. Mum to 2, I gym and do therapy when kiddo is in nursey. When hes not at nursery, we go swimming or to the park, anyway to get physical activity for us both. I share homemade smoothies (3-4 portions of fruit/spinach) with my kiddo and totally replaced coffee with them. I sleep at 8-9 when he sleeps or take an hour to sort the house so I wake up with a clean slate. He has an egg with me when I have my scrambled eggs for breakfast so then we dont have to think twice either about the first snack. His breakfast is the same everyday. From 18mo, hes 'made it' himself, and hes in charge of putting the fruit and liquid in the blender. We dont buy excessive physical possessions (clothes, toys, books, decor etc) to avoid the healthier food. Our routine is always the same and therefore consistent and predictable and easier to achieve. I gave up social media so I could have time to make nutrutious meals. I shower most days of the week. Sometimes I will chill out and watch a film with sweets or chocolate or crisps. But its intentional, planned, rather than binge-normal.
It all depends on what you value more. Whats most important, truly?

All of these influencers are great, it is going to be hard no matter what. But they are stay at home moms, their husband's obviously make good money, most of their husband's are in good shape and aren't lazy or drinking, they have family close and a sitter. So it is so very different than most. One can do all of these things or just can't. So not realistic or completely helping most.
Still good thing it works for you and you are happier with everything, that is what matters.
