My first saber had a proffie and I wasn't prepared for the learning curve, but it really is an amazing little board that can do anything. Definitely for the hardcore user... but that new CFX is a dream. 😍🔦
Perfect video! Thank you so much. Always wanted a high quality blade and now that that i have a full time job i can now spend freely without being broke.
Awesome video dude! You really covered everything, and in pretty great detail. My first saber was a Sabertrio Reaver neo and it's amazing. But now as I've learned more and my interest has shifted, I'm on the hunt for a good stunt saber to practice my swings and spin tricks.
I have really enjoyed your videos. It was actually your video about your vektra neopixel sabertrio saber that made me decide to buy one for myself. I bought a dark edition skylar neopixel saber from sabertrio and I cannot wait for it to come in. I just wanted to say thank you for the time and effort you put into these videos and helping teach people in the saber community like myself about all of this stuff. I enjoy getting notifications for a new lightsaber video of your channel!! Keep it up man!
Really learned a lot in this video, great work....you saved me a ton of time...like how you clearly broke each aspect down, really easy to understand....thank you and may the force "stay" with you
Just wanted to say thanks for the videos, even though I commented before on another video that I thought you were a little hard on ultrasabers, I recently purchased from the pach store because of your video recommendation, I bought the ultimate works rvs darth revan with neopixel and proffie board for 369 after tax 400 which is insanely cheap for what I got so thank you so much for turning me onto pach store. I am currently gutting out all my ultrasabers now and upgrading them to proffie boards and maybe one day neopixel . So I dont think I'll ever buy a ultrasaber again unless it's for a empty hilt. I love the smooth swing and cant go back to a soundboard without it. I also had no idea neopixel had a heavy grade blade option either which will probably be my go to because I do light dueling. Anyways Thanks for the information bro.
You’re welcome, man, I appreciate that. And nice, I still need to grab a Pach Store saber for myself, but I may do some Pach Store Shiva giveaways in the future on the channel. Have fun with your sabers man!

Thanks, I learned a lot. I've been wanting a saber for some time now, but my mom won't let me get one. I understand, since it would be a total of more than $700, but I hope that she changes her mind soon. Anyways, awesome video!
Ok. So if I want to duel I need a stunt saber. I know there is another video with the best saber for each budget, but I think Señor Lando that we need a review on the best dueling sabers
My Neopixel Aeryn from Sabertrio is currently being shipped to me! It should be here on my birthday on Wednesday. I was shocked it had already shipped as I ordered it less then 2 weeks ago when Sabertrio's main site reopened. Great video keep up the great work.
Nice, and happy early birthday! If you plan to add some soundfonts to it, make sure to check out my tutorials on that and also how to change the blade effects!
Nathaniel Guillory The main reasons why I want to buy a Neopixel saber is the scrolling effect and the detachable blade. Correct me if I'm wrong, Neopixel lightsabers are the only ones that have those effects.
Proffie and Asteria are soundboards, not blades. I covered those in a video about soundboards on my channel in the past. Proffie is the best soundboard out there, followed by CFX and GHv3, then maybe Asteria behind that. Asteria is a Pach Store proprietary board.

Perks if it makes sounds and perks if the model and connect 2 sabres together, if I bought a second. Btw.... your videos rock but I felt I’d just come straight at you and ask for your guidance.... “help me obi one”

Thank you! Sabertrio is planning to reopen on Black Friday. Make sure to check out their Facebook or Instagram for weekly updates leading up to the reopening!
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to make these lightsaber videos! Very informative! Highly appreciated. So excited to receiving my acid etched Neo Vahlken from SaberTrio!
Any saber with a Proffie or CFX soundboard, so Sabertrio, Vader's Vault, Korbanth, Genesis Custom Sabers, Crimson Dawn or Darkwolf's Proffie Neopixel sabers, Bendu Armory, etc.
My son was thinking of building a lightsaber at Galaxy's Edge, but I'm guessing we could get a lot more for our $199 than what Disney offers. Do you know what the materials, build quality and lights/sound quality is like on Disney's? BTW, been watching many of your videos and the info is the best in the galaxy. Learning a lot, but now I'm wanting a saber too! Can't wield it well, but could look awesome hanging on my wheelchair! (He was also looking at the website that must not be named, but you've given us better ones to research...thx).
Alright, I dont own a lightsaber yet, but I want a badass looking neopixel with smooth swing. I will not be doing alot of dueling or heavy hitting. Where should I go and what should I be looking for. Any suggestions?
I loved the video there was a lot of information that I didn't know. Where would you recommend me to buy a lightsaber, I have seen some videos of which stores are more reliable. Which one would you recommend me?
Please discuss and possibly provide a list of wall thickness of polycarbonate blades by company, not all mid or heavy grade are equal (and sellers hide this fact). I've seen "mid-grade" walls as thin as 1.2mm and others claimed as heavy only 1.8mm
First of all, thank you!! Your videos have been very helpful and due to your informative videos I purchased a lightsaber staff set up and another saber, both with Neopixel and proffie sound board from rebel sabers. My question is on the smooth swing and saber sounds in general. Will it come programmed out of the box or will I have to pay and download sounds to the board once I get it?
Smooth-swing and soundfonts come pre-installed on the sabers. You don’t have to pay and download soundfonts unless you want to, but stores give you soundfonts already.
Hi there I wanted to see what advice you can give me I’m trying to buy my first light saver and I want to buy a Darth Revan Light saver I want to see what you recommend and what company and want to get with it
One thing I’m trying to find out about ordering from sabertrio lightsabers is do you have to set up every little thing on them? When ordering do you have to choose the colors or do they come with all of them? Do you have to set up the sounds like when you’re moving the lightsabers or does it come like that? Do I get to choose if I am able to change the battery or charge it? Can you just upload a sabertrio guid about how to order or customize them? Cause every time I try and look up this information all that pops up are reviews about literally the exact same thing and I can’t find this anywhere on the website. I just don’t wanna mess anything up for my very first time ordering a lightsaber and waste all that time and money for a saber I didn’t want I just want my saber to be exactly like how they are on the videos you know? Like darth koopa and Stoney magnum and notabot (someone, anyone please respond as soon as you see this clearly I’m desperate).
All the other videos about effects and soundfonts that I have posted should clarify that. You don’t HAVE TO set up the sounds, each Neopixel saber comes with 18 sound fonts. Each Neopixel saber can change to any color with the press of 2 buttons. If you choose to buy a stunt saber, you can choose to use a rechargeable 18650 battery or AAA batteries. To put it shortly, no, you don’t have to set up every little thing about the saber. If you check out “All the Neo Soundfonts” by Stoney Magnum, that is exactly how a Sabertrio saber comes out of the box. No settings changed, no sounds changed, that’s exactly as it comes. If you look at my videos or Darth Koopa’s “The Most Realistic Lightsaber”, we have bought and downloaded new soundfonts to our saber. Sabertrio is currently closed, and will be until around Christmas. I do not work for Sabertrio, nor am I sponsored by them, so I cannot answer every question about them. If you have Instagram or Facebook, try messaging them, as they will be able to help you out much better than I ever will be able to.
Hi Lando hope you are travelling well with all this Covid 19 Isolation crap. You can call me Lando too, as that's the name my folks called me by when I was a little fella. I am fairly new to the Lightsaber community but I have been learning quite a bit on RUclips. I bought a beautiful Sabre from the company you like the least. Beautiful Hilt but, very ordinary sound and features for $500 AUD. I would like to know if there is a way that I can have my 'Crimson Grand Master' hilt customized with a CFX board and a Neopixel blade. Im not sure of how much this would cost or where it would go or who can customize it for me. I am hoping you might have a few good recommendations. It may be a lot cheaper for me than to order a new Light Saber altogether from Sabertrio. Approximately $780 AUD. Any suggestions you might have I would appreciate.
Hey man! I have heard of people doing CFX or Proffie conversions of Ultrasabers hilts. I can’t think of any specific names off the top of my head, or their pricing, but I have seen videos here on RUclips and posts on the r/lightsabers subreddit of people who had theirs converted. In essence, those sorts of installs should not cost more than $550 USD (not sure what that would be in AUD), as the labor, Neopixel blade, and Chassis/soundboard/speaker installation will typically run you a pretty penny. If you genuinely enjoy your hilt from Ultrasabers, and simply want it converted/installed, then I don’t see why not. If you would rather a new saber that was purposely built with CFX or Proffie and Neopixel, then it may be worth looking at selling the Ultrasaber and using some of that money towards a Sabertrio or Vader’s Vault, or any of the companies I recommend. There are much cheaper options than those two, especially companies such as Crimson Dawn, which offer their Proffie + Neopixel sabers starting at $199 USD, which is $200 USD cheaper than the cheapest Sabertrio CFX Neopixel saber. Now, keep in mind, the Proffie soundboard is better in terms of overall effects and customizations than the CFX, however it is much more difficult to customize and learn the coding than a CFX. The hilt quality or aesthetics from a company such as Crimson Dawn are limited in comparison to a Sabertrio, but I would not recommend them if I didn’t find them to be worthy of customers’ money. I personally own a Crimson Dawn saber (not a Neopixel, but still), and I find the hilt quality to be fine. It isn’t exactly up to par with my Sabertrio Vektra in terms of balance and feel, but for literally less than half the price, with a better soundboard, it’s hard to argue against going with a budget Proffie Neopixel saber from Crimson Dawn, or some of the other budget companies I have listed/highlighted in some of my recent videos. Hope that helps!
@@LandoSabers Lando, it sounds like a massive hassle bro. I would likely be better off just ordering a beautiful Senza Sabre from Sabertrio. It's a beautiful version of the Fallen Jedi Sabre of Cal Castis.
I’m trying to look for a light saber around 130 that ships from America and that you can make every single light color and has saber sounds not voices but sounds is there any good ones I can get
If you’re talking about the Pach Store, then read their description. I don’t work for them, so I cannot be everyone’s sole source of knowledge for their sabers.
honestly, lightsabers are quite expensive. im planning to just buy parts and assemble it, since my dad does that sort of stuff. im just jere to see what parts i like, lol
Neopixel sabers are usually not meant for dueling, because there are hundreds of LEDs inside the blade itself. It would be like dueling with a TV screen, and you know how fragile those are. They still use a thick polycarbonate tube in heavy-grade Neopixel blades in order to protect the LEDs, but there is no guarantee that they can withstand what you would put the blade through.
So, is something like the obsidian sound font on ultra sabers have smooth swing sounds, all this stuff is so confusing, but I really wanna get one and become a sith irl 😂 Also, I heard ultra saber isn't as good as people say, just using it as an example, gonna look for some other websites to buy from.
Hey im not good at modding. Can you to direct me to a nice inexpensive saber with good fx and lighting. Something that looks hood just to hang at home and show off.. realistic movie like igniting
Haha my first saber was an Electrum and they're an awesome company! I bought the Aegis hilt with the LED. Next time i buy from them I'll probably get a Neo Pixel but im looking at trying other companies like Bendu Armory.
@@Headbanger9000 I would recommend it as much as I love mine having to deal with the app just kinda ruins my experience with them. My next one is either gonna be bendy or Vader’s vault. Cause I have way too expensive taste and plan to buy one every year lol. My collection shall grooooowwwww
Yep! Vader’s Vault, Genesis Custom Sabers, and Bendu Armory offer in-hilt FX sabers with a Crystal Focus 10 soundboard (meaning smooth swing), and Sabertrio offers an FX saber soundboard upgrade service, which will swap out the Pico Crumble soundboard with a Crystal Focus 10.
@@LandoSabers sorry about the spam of questions but do you know if I would have to order the upgraded soundboard separately or will it give me the option while purchasing the saber
@@keithluh6 For Sabertrio, you either add that option on when you go to buy the saber, or you can order the saber and purchase the upgrade later. I'd recommend doing it at the same time, because you'd have to ship your saber back to Sabertrio if you did it later.
Unfortunately, DX Sabers is one of the biggest scammers in the lightsaber community. If you do not get your saber when they say you’ll get it, you may need to file a dispute with your bank or PayPal, as many people have been scammed by them.
@@quartzshake335 Rebel Sabers, Crimson Dawn, Vire Sabers, Electrum Sabers. All great smaller businesses to support that push out good products and customer service.
Anything below $60 USD isn’t gonna be that great. If you increase your budget to about $80-100, you can get something pretty good from Darkwolf, Crimson Dawn, Vire Sabers, etc.
That may be why. I have heard of people having issues with recharge ports and included chargers for all saber stores, not just Sabertrio. If I were you, I’d get additional batteries and a battery wall charger and just replace them when the charge declines. You’d need an 18660 High-Discharge battery, which you can get from Illumn, and an 18650 wall charger, which I got from the 18650batterystore. You can see the exact specs that Sabertrio uses in their batteries on their website.
I am willing to spend a good amount of money for a great lightsaber, but I find the shopping process almost obnoxious. The first saber company that finds a way to simplify the process will make an untold amount of money.
I mean… the process is very simplified for most of the top saber companies. That is, once you understand the tech terms, which is the point of this video and many of my other videos.
me new to lightsaber, but me love the sabertrio vahlken, so me spend 800 Canadian for it :( me no make smart decisions with money but me happy with it anyways XD

Have you checked my channel?
Make a video recommending a custom lightsaber?
Posted one recently!
Yeah i had to sub after this
Hi Lando hope you are travelling well with all this Covid 19 Isolation crap.
I’m trying to look for a light saber around 130 that ships from America and that you can make every single light color and has saber sounds not voices but sounds is there any good ones I can get
I have plenty of videos on that. Please refer to those.
is it possible to modify a kyojin lightsaber to a neopixel blade, I have found Neo pixel lights but idk if it is possible to modify it
It would have to be completely gutted and reinstalled as a Neopixel saber. You can’t just put the Neopixel blade in an RGB saber.
Where can i buy the best empty ones, because i cant find any good and CHEAP hilts
what is this installation for a mecha saber i want??>>>>> prekit ( hilt + connector)
If you’re talking about the Pach Store, then read their description. I don’t work for them, so I cannot be everyone’s sole source of knowledge for their sabers.
What’s some stunt sabers you’d recommend
Anything from the Pach Store, Revan Sabers, Sabertrio, etc.
honestly, lightsabers are quite expensive. im planning to just buy parts and assemble it, since my dad does that sort of stuff. im just jere to see what parts i like, lol
you did not say what the neopixel would be used for? dueling etc?
Neopixel sabers are usually not meant for dueling, because there are hundreds of LEDs inside the blade itself. It would be like dueling with a TV screen, and you know how fragile those are. They still use a thick polycarbonate tube in heavy-grade Neopixel blades in order to protect the LEDs, but there is no guarantee that they can withstand what you would put the blade through.
Great!
Anyone know where I can get one from the UK
What is the cheapest neopixel hilt and blade that you've seen?
Crimson Dawn’s lineup!
I want to buy a sabertrio senza fx lightsaber, but it is out of stock. When will I be able to order?
Black Friday!
@@LandoSabers thanks! Sorry for answering a bit late i just didn't receive any notification for this comment. Keep up the good work!
wich one for sport? stunt?
So, is something like the obsidian sound font on ultra sabers have smooth swing sounds, all this stuff is so confusing, but I really wanna get one and become a sith irl 😂
Also, I heard ultra saber isn't as good as people say, just using it as an example, gonna look for some other websites to buy from.
Kind of early gang
do you know where i could find a cool darts vader saber? under 300$
I want to get my first lightsaber i’ve been working for a few months and now I can afford one, but a want a high quality one.
Get a crimson dawn proffie neo pixel
They’re cheap but really good
Can you installe a sound board in a stunt light saber ? 😕
Yep! Just need to find a chassis and soundboard that will fit, and have it wired and situated correctly.
How much was your lightsaber ??
For the stunt saber, can you get any color, or does it only come in green?
Depends on what kind of stunt saber you get. You’re usually gonna get a choice of red, blue, or green, but sometimes other colors.
@@LandoSabers Ok thank you, do you know what website is the best?
For stunt sabers, I’d say the Pach Store.
Hey im not good at modding. Can you to direct me to a nice inexpensive saber with good fx and lighting. Something that looks hood just to hang at home and show off.. realistic movie like igniting
Something like what you demoed. Smooth swing
Check my “Buying Lightsabers” playlist.
I can’t find anywhere to get a good lightsaber cheap in the uk
Force sabers UK, I'm not too sure though but I googled it 4 u 👍
"When you start you probably wont wanna spend several hundred dollars on a saber." Me: Slowly lowers Electrum smart saber.
"When you start"
Haha my first saber was an Electrum and they're an awesome company! I bought the Aegis hilt with the LED. Next time i buy from them I'll probably get a Neo Pixel but im looking at trying other companies like Bendu Armory.
@@Headbanger9000 I would recommend it as much as I love mine having to deal with the app just kinda ruins my experience with them. My next one is either gonna be bendy or Vader’s vault. Cause I have way too expensive taste and plan to buy one every year lol. My collection shall grooooowwwww
Are the neopixel sabers duel worthy
Most Neopixel sabers are not duel worthy, unfortunately.
@@LandoSabers is there a way to get something like an FX saber and program smooth wing technology in it
I bought the v2 skywalker base lit from dx sabers is that good
Unfortunately, DX Sabers is one of the biggest scammers in the lightsaber community. If you do not get your saber when they say you’ll get it, you may need to file a dispute with your bank or PayPal, as many people have been scammed by them.
@@LandoSabers oh ok thanks where would be a good place to get ligytsabers
I posted a video of my top 5 saber companies!
@@LandoSabers ok il watch that
Is it possible to install slower ignitions at sabertrio sabers?
Yes, as I mention in my video about installing soundfonts, you can choose the speed of your ignitions.
Lando Sabers thank you. I maybe get the new senza as neopixel😄
Lando Sabers thank you 🙏🏻. I maybe get the new senza saber as neopixel😁
what does prekit mean?
The term prekit is used by the Pach Store meaning it is ready to be installed with one of their Asteria or Proffie hearts.
Rules to follow:
1 - Don't buy US
2 - Don't buy DX
3 - Don't buy Disney
4 - Avoid SF for the time being
what do we buy?
@Karl Sahhar unless you're fine waiting 4-6 months for something that specific, I'd wait until lead times shrink.
@@quartzshake335 Rebel Sabers, Crimson Dawn, Vire Sabers, Electrum Sabers. All great smaller businesses to support that push out good products and customer service.
@@Nathan_Jay thank you 🙌🙌
@@quartzshake335 you're welcome!
is it some good lightsabers under 60 dollars real broke rn and i want a lightsaber
Anything below $60 USD isn’t gonna be that great. If you increase your budget to about $80-100, you can get something pretty good from Darkwolf, Crimson Dawn, Vire Sabers, etc.
@@LandoSabers Yh i dont need a great one for my first just want maybe a purple one i could fight with my friends if u know what i mean?
what if i just got a 70 dollar one on amazon with good reviews and free returns
Damn, I'm too late.
?
So you cant duel with a neopixel
Well.. you can, but it'd be extremely foolish.
@@iilhares what I mean are there dueling blades
I wish neopixels could duel
Anyone have a problem with their battery not charging all the way?
From what company?
Lando Sabers sabertrio
Have you taken the battery out and charged it with an external charger or are you using the recharge port with the included charger?
Lando Sabers recharge port with the included charger
