Once I get all these expansions built and painted up we shall! I also want to give people who pre-ordered KDM a chance to get their games before I begin. So... all that to say, it might be awhile :
I think spoiling some things in the name of review is fine. Such as if the gear is worth it or if the expansion as a whole won't really add anything to your game. I think avoiding revealing AI and HL cards is smart though as I would consider that the biggest part of the gameplay experience.
Great to see the video. How did you get all this but miss out on Gorm? Excited to see more KDM content from you. I'd say let's see the Lonely Tree, as I know nothing about it. Try not to reveal anything about the fights, but maybe a sneak peak at a few pieces of gear. This is gonna keep me going during the wait for 1.6
Hi, if you compare KDM with sankokushin five sacrifices, which one is more complicated and hard to learn? At first I thought it was clearly KDM but by looking at your videos on Sankokushin, I am thinking otherwise.
Such a fun question! ... but also surprisingly hard to answer. For now, I'll focus on their combat systems, since little is publicly known about S5S's city phase. - - - - - At face value, S5S is more complex due to their introduction of an additional psychology system on top of KDM's Behavior/Hit Location decks. The psychology system acts as an involved way to debuff/weaken enemies while also developing thematic, evolving relationships. On the other hand, KDM is very easy to play... but complicated to *learn*. Individual pieces of gear have deeper significance the more you play. There are also ways to "debuff" enemies through individual pieces of gear but enemies are more "observed" than interacted with. - - - - - KDM is a great example of simplicity in some areas and hulking sprawl in other areas. Overall, it's as easy as rolling a d10! - - - - - I'm not sure if that answered your question. Please feel free to ask me more questions, I love this stuff!
@@WaitYourTurn Thank you so so much! one more question, how hard is KDM to pack and put out again, are there any inserts to keep track of each character's gears when packing up? I am super eager to dive into this game but I sadly don't have the space to keep it out all the time...
No problem! I can relate! From what I’ve seen, some people make or buy 3D gear holders. Personally, I just leave the gear cards on the gear grids and gently stack them on top of the board inside the box between sessions. Third-party holders are worth looking into if you really enjoy the game. - - - - - The game itself is very easy to set up, since most cards and tokens are left in the box until you need them. Set up time mainly means unfolding the game board and getting out the gear grids. As long as you have a big enough table you should be fine :)
Wish I could've commented last time before the Gorm sold out for ya. Only ones I'm missing that I want are the flower knight, dung beetle, and the manhunter expansion. I'd vote open the Dung beetle knight, or Dragon King. Dragon King was a pretty easy build. I don't have the Dung Beetle Knight so couldn't say.
I just got some fresh files and plastic cement in preparation for the build sesh! So far I haven't had any trouble with the builds (other than realizing I built some of my original armor kits so so wrong). Best of luck to you come Black Friday!
Thanks for the upload. Not sure if I am alone in this but I found the video very quiet .
You're welcome, I'll see what i can do :)
Heard you did not like some of the sculpts. I can take them if you don’t want them.
Hahah, give me a couple days to unhate them first xD
@@WaitYourTurn nah don’t worry about it. The sun guys junk shall not bother you no more.
KDM season 3. Yes please. Hopefully this time I will be able to tune in for the stream. Missed all the older ones

Time to clear out more room? Hahaha! So exciting!
Hahaha! Exactly! And so the circle of life repeats itself xD

I agree. There's nothing like getting destroyed by a new monster in KDM for the first time. I'd hate to rob anyone of that.
wow thats a lot of game especially when you realize your looking at an expansion(s).
I'm not really an expansions guy... but I've done enough research to understand the worth.
Don't worry, I couldn't get Gorm, Flower Knight, Dragon King and Dung Beetle. Got the others though.
Nice! I hesitated so bad. It'll be easier next time now.
Congratulations, this is a dangerous game for completionist :-)
Thanks! Don't worry, I'm not thaat crazy

I must've hesitated for a fraction too long for the Gorm. You got it ;)
Dung beetle for sure
Sounds good to me!
How many expansion have you played already? Which one is your favorite expansion? How much did it cost to buy all of those expansions?
None. I'm still painting them! I jumped for these expansions at full retail when they "found" some extras in their warehouses. Total was $845 ($820 + $25 Shipping).
1x Green Knight Armor Expansion - $25.00
1x Lion God Expansion - $60.00
1x Lion Knight Expansion - $70.00
1x Lonely Tree Expansion - $75.00
1x Manhunter Expansion - $60.00
1x Slenderman Expansion - $60.00
1x Spidicules Expansion - $100.00
1x Sunstalker Expansion - $100.00
1x Flower Knight Expansion - $60.00
1x Dung Beetle Expansion - $60.00
1x Dragon King Expansion - $150.00
I'm hoping I can get gorm and dung beetle in the next restock, those poofed so fast. I do slightly regret getting the lonely tree though
No regrets! The lonely tree is so pretty!

Pro and Cons of all expansions and which you would recommend to buy if you only own the core box.
Sounds great! I’ll see how much we can cover!
Sunstalker!!!
The one and only!
Favorite expansions: i didn't tried everything, but Gorm and DK are awesome. People of the stars campaign is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should play it.
Trust me, I WILL. The crazy part of my brain says to put everything in all at once.
I'm for spoilers but I think they should be on special videos marked as such.
I’m glad so many people are pro spoiler! I’ll find a way to format the video so the spoilers are near the end.

I receieve it this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wahahaha
Ahhhhhhhhh, the promised time! It took 15 days for me. So hyped!
