Hey Pan I have a Polaris Slingshot which the bottom has plan black plastic what's a good product to clean take away the dull look and make it shine?
Here's a tip which I've yet to see anyone do. Get (4) 1' pieces of 2x4 or 2x6 and put them under (behind) your tires, slightly toward the inside of the tire. Back your car up onto them so that your tires have a 1.5" gap under them. Then you can wash all the way around the tire and you don't wind up with the little flat spot at the bottom that never gets scrubbed or treated with tire shine. Or if you have the time - just take off each wheel and do it the right way. :)
Yes, already done that, but I often just push the car forward a little so I can polish what was that previously unreachable bit at the bottom.
Thanks, Pan! Slowly building an arsenal of supplies based on your videos. Hope you're having a nice weekend!
Very cool! I hope you're having a great weekend too Ashley!
Incredible tutorial Pan! Prep is absolutely key when applying tire dressings!
Thanks Konsta! What’s your favourite dressing?
@@PanTheOrganizer I really like Carpro Perl, I've been using it for a while👍🏻
Thanks for the amazing video …what helps me apply tire dressing on all 4 tires is I put a 2x4 under all four tires to get the part that touches the ground
I get excited when you show up on my feed. Anyway, I bought the turtlewax tire dressing you mentioned on your video last time. Can't wait till spring here to use it. Thanks!
Thanks Larry!
Love to watch videos regularly! Just another ‘hack’: instead of having to roll the car forward or back, drive it onto a thin 1”x4”/6” piece of wood. This elevates the car tread about 1/2” above the floor at the time of cleaning and there is no need to roll it around to finish. This is what I do to prevent the missing tire dressing when I detail. Thanks again for the videos!
Thanks for sharing Ron!
Thank you, Pan. Interestingly, I posted exactly what you did. I used Koch Chemie's Green Star and Plast Star (PSS). The result was very similar. Great tips, Pan.

I just got my TW Hybrid wheel & tire cleaner and TW Graphene tire shine in the mail. Your tips will help, thanks.
Thanks Butch! Did you watch my video on those products? Here: ruclips.net/video/H6McPVBMuME/видео.html
@@PanTheOrganizer Of course, that’s what got me to order those products lol. Also I needed car soap, so got the TW Slick N Slide wash. That stuff is Great 🙂 Thank You!
Another excellent video!
Prep is definitely key as said.
Great video! 👍🔥
Thanks!
Finally the video I’ve been waiting for !!! Good job !!
Thanks Kelly!

Great information Pan!
Glad you think so!
Great video Pan. Hoping you can do video in future for maintaining and cleaning Black wheels. Frustrated with water spots even before I finish drying car

I have learned so much from your.videos. You are very inspirational. Thank you.
Thanks Mario! What’s your favourite video on my channel so far?
Probably the video you did on Rupes polishers, pads and polished. I did my first car this weekend with the rupes and uno polish plust sealant and the customer was pleasantly surprised
Really enjoy your videos lots of good info
Thanks Stevie!
For about the last 40 years I’ve been using one product. Tyre spray called So Easy. It’s just that, so easy. I either do it on the road or a nice quiet spot down at the local shop car park.
(EDIT - YOU DID mention this and that's why you're the best!) Great video as always. One thing I think is absolutely imperative, is to roll the car forward or back a half rotation do get the lowest part of the tire, that is in contact with the ground. Especially on low profile tires like yours, that small area is nearly impossible to reach, either with spray or applicators. Just my $.02
😉
You could get tire ramps too to make it easier.
Pan the man. Good tip
Thanks Mark!
Thanks for the AT tire dressing tip. I’ve been struggling with my Mickey Thompson Baja bosses
😉🙌🏻
I've used both Chemical Guys VRT and Carpro Perl. I prefer Carpro Perl 1:1. I'd like to try the Koch Chemie Plast Star.
Nice video Pan. And the tip about rolling your car ahead to treat the full tire is a good one. That became a Homer Simpson moment for me. D’oh!😂😂
Hehe thanks Wayne!
Thank you Pan....awesome 👍
Thanks!
Hi Pan, another great video. My favorite tire products are Koch Chemie PSS, Adams Graphene Tire Dressing, Carpro Pearl and Gyeon Tire. I would like you to do more tests of the Koch Chemie brand like Nano Magic Shampoo, Protector Wax, spray sealant and ceramic coating. Thank you very much Pan you are the best 👌👌👌
Thanks Joaquin!
Loving the channel Pan thanks for all the info, just a thought for upcoming videos to do a full inside and out detail with using products from one brand, like Carpro or Gyeon etc, thanks again
Thanks Daniel! What’s your favourite brand?
@@PanTheOrganizer loving both Gyeon and Carpro products at the moment, Carpro innerQD smells like kids lemonade ice blocks

Thanks Mike! What’s your favourite dressing?
@@PanTheOrganizer I like that. GP tire stuff. But what I love the most is dura coating tire coating. But that GP tire stuff not bad at all I use it on my wife suv. Does really good holds up nice.
Hello Paaaaann !!!

In the 90s I learned from my neighbor how to make my tires shine on my parent’s was using black shoe shine and you brush it on there like you would on a shoe lol. It took a lot longer, but it did the trick.. I didn’t have fancy tire products back then.
Interesting!
I definitely could take a page out of your book on this one bru. I’m a bit “bull in china closet” when it comes to dressing the tires.
😄🙌🏻
I wash the majority of the time outside where I am exposed to temperatures where water can dry easily despite being in the shade so I have gotten accustomed to drying off each wheel and tire before proceeding to the next one and has become habit ever since to avoid water spots on my black satin wheels. I find if the wheels get any water on them during the wash process they are easier to dry off while using less detailer (Adam's Matte Detailer) for the final wipe down.
Great video as always.Any suggestions for a matte finish on offroad tires?
Just clean the tires and don’t apply a dressing. That’s as matte as they will get.
Hello Pan, been watching your video and yes I subscribed also. I have a black 2018 Ford Escape and i can’t wait to paint correct my suv. I’m waiting for my 3” polisher to arrived for I have bought a 6” polisher already. Also I have rock chips to repair prior the paint correction process. Love your video and learning so much. Do you have a chips repair video ? Keep up the great video with tips and tricks. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Great tutorial!
Thanks!
Thanks Pan.
My pleasure!
Great vid as always (love your Porsche). Just a thought for potential additional content.
Have you covered any specific shows for vehicles with vinyl wraps and/or protective film?
Yes here: ruclips.net/video/7RCgqdGrvrA/видео.html
Another cool video, Pan. Unfortunately, I'm 2 years late seeing it. Still, VERY useful info. Thanks for posting! I was using the Adams Wheel & Tire Cleaner in the beginning but switched to the Turtle Wax Wheel & Tire Cleaner. It works well and is more product for less money. I like it and LOVE that it's budget-friendly, of course. My biggest issue is getting my wheel barrels thoroughly clean. I need 1 of those EZ Detail barrel brushes.
Yes the tools are just as important to clean wheels, as the products themselves. See my wheel & tire cleaning tutorial: ruclips.net/video/omwcNcSYcS8/видео.htmlsi=sYon082fIgbgURqf
Great video as usual! Keep going on! Iorgo STAMATELOS, France

@@PanTheOrganizer yes it’s a bit of work a 2003 Dodge Ram dually I actually just purchased a 15mm polisher from adams I have a 8 mm ws waxshine I’ve been using for 4 years now I also polish my 32 foot travel trailer takes about 5 hrs but they both turn out great I get lots of compliments on them thanks again
Thanks Pan...don't worry about "I digress"..it's all good info! 👍

Another great video Pan off topic I have a 2021 Bmw 330i I have just used car pro reset to get the ceramic coating looking like new again my question is how often would you use reset when I normally wash I use Koch chemie gsf then nano magic shampoo also I watched your interior cleaning video just recently what product do you recommend for the dash board protection thank you for your advice regards Steve Australia
All else aside, I love your car! My dream car in that price range 👍
Thanks Daniel! It was my dream car too! It puts a huuuuge smile on my face every time I step on the gas. :)
Great vid pan! Have a question off topic - how do I remove tree sap. I cannot get it off the paint of an old car. I’ve tried everything! Hand sanitiser, tar remover, isopropyl, soap. I even tried using a cutting compound and that took some off but not all. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks Pan for another informative video, like your new ride! #Germanspeed
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
What product would you recommend to use on an off-road tire with an aggressive sidewall pattern? I have tried to apply by hand and it was pretty difficult because of the design of the tire, so I am leaning towards an spray or an aerosol. I tried meguiars endurance spray but I didn’t like the amount it sprayed (too much) and it was extremely glossy. I was thinking of using the 303 satin finish foam or the 303 aerospace protectant itself. What do you think?
I know you like the classic aerospace protectant but I am not sure if their tire foam is as good as the protectant.
And would you apply the 303 protectant on the tread of the exposed spare tire on the back? Thanks
Great video!! Details most don’t do when it comes to tire dressing! I prefer water base dressing for the reduced sling! Look forward to the next video! 👍🏼
Thanks!!
Hi Pan, long time DIY'er. I use the Adams sponge you demonstrate with Jay Leno's garage tire shine dressing (no sling, good shine, water based). In fact it would be cool if you would test Jay Leno's garage products as well, as I've had great experiences with some of them, especially their tire shine and evaporate drying aid.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the video. Could you do a video of cleaning the engine bay? Coming out of winter, mine is a hot mess of grime and road salts. Thanks
I already have a few tutorials on that topic. Here are two of them:

ruclips.net/video/6LwCbmvLYb0/видео.html
Hey Pan, great video! Question, how did you get Ultragrip winter tires in those sizes to fit your car? They normally don't exist in those sizes.
I bought the Porsche winter wheels and tires set directly from Porsche. They flew them in from Germany. Porsche has winter tires specifically made for their vehicles. So you can always find your size. ;) (The set cost five figures in $CAD, so get ready to spend through the roof. I wanted OEM Porsche wheels for the winter).
Hi pan, great video.... question, did you ever try Adam's VRT... I USE THIS AND LOVE IT, no smear, nice shine and durable too.
Yes it reminds me of Chemical Guys VRP. Very good.
Hi Pan, great video. Do you have a link or name for that hose nozzle? Looks like the perfect stream to wash down my tires. Thank you!!
It's my Mosmatic gun kit: bit.ly/3JKh1Zq
Hello Pan,
Firstly, thank you for the amazing advice in all your videos. I’ve learned so much as I begin to prepare for the opening of my detailing business. I had a fellow detailer in the industry recommend using “Falcon Blue tire shine” do you have any experience using this product? thanks in advance!
Thanks Kevin! I have never heard of that product.

You mentioned engine bay cleaning when will you do a video on it i have a.1500 that needs a cleaning a tutorial would be great info
I already have a few engine bay detailing videos. Here are a few:
ruclips.net/video/R5ZbroMTULM/видео.html
ruclips.net/video/6LwCbmvLYb0/видео.html
Great video of something people over look. Always us to hate that sling off my tires.
Thanks Shane!
Love the video pan. Do you recommend using the meguiars endurance tire gel or would you recommend using the chemical guys VPR?
Meguiar’s Endurance has that wet oily look and can sling. VRP is water based and doesn’t last as long, but has a nicer finish in my opinion and won’t sling.
So it depends on what you’re looking for.
@@PanTheOrganizer out of all tire shines which would you recommend being best for a 2022 Acura MDX in your experience?
Highly informative video Pan!! Quick question, what is your product recommendation for cleaning of matte black wheels?
You will find out in a video I will have in April… can’t say more. Stay tuned!
@@PanTheOrganizer this sounds awesome! I will not touch my wheels until I watch it. Thanks for responding to my question.
Okay question, do you ever wash these applicators? Like especially with mat from OG has the new detail factory cue brush and uses it for dressing. Obviously the APC and shit but for the most part you can still feel that dressing slimy feeling. And I use CP Perl so it’s not some cheap dressing
Always great to learn you’ve been doing it wrong all these years. Lol
Do you have a video on cleaning and treating rubber seals?
Hehe. We always learn new things right?
For rubber seals, see what I do in this interior detailing tutorial: ruclips.net/video/8QTGLsmGIw8/видео.html
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks!!
Fantastic tutorial. Do you prefer Perl or Darkside for tire dressing? I have yet to use both. Thank you
DarkSide for long term durability, and I’ll use PERL as a maintenance topper after weekly washes.
@@PanTheOrganizer Makes sense. Thanks again
is there anything specific to cleaning drag tires. I have heard rumors of products can damage softer compounds.
Hey pan! Great content. Wondering if you have any tips on cleaning white wall tires? So they don’t start looking yellow.
Bleche-white and a Brillo pad always worked for me.
Cool thanks. I been using that, was just wondering if there was something else.
great video, I have a question about when I get my new car, do I need paint protection if I am getting a ceramic coating for my new car?
It depends what state your car is in. Normally there are always defects when they deliver cars. Watch my video explaining why here: ruclips.net/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/видео.html
can you recommend a good acid wheel cleaner for my chrome rims, the salt from the road is like glue and i have to scrub with chrome wax to get it clean
This is the best acid based wheel cleaner: bit.ly/3DgMhgJ
It's Safe and effective on clear-coated, factory painted, and chrome wheels.
Make sure you use an acid resistant sprayer like this: amzn.to/3ue4gA6
Hi pan, are you going to do a review of Adams anti fog?
If I get enough viewer request for it perhaps.
hey pan , i just started using koch chemie products now . i havnt tried pss yet. would you recommend it for exterior trim thats faded ?
Hey man can you do a demonstration on how to use compound/polish on wrap/vinyl I did my cousins car and it took the scratches off but after a couple of hours it went back to normal and all the scratches were noticiable
Hey Pan, great video as always! I have an issue with my tires taking on a blue-ish tint after applying dressing and driving around for a day or so. I have used two different water based dressings (Tri-Nova and Rubbercare by Aerocosmetics), and also observe it happening after I have gone through a regular carwash. I live on a dirt road and wonder if that’s part of the problem; maybe the dirt/dust is somehow reacting with the dressing? Just wondering what your thoughts and suggestions may be.
1) Do you clean/degrease your tires properly before you apply the dressing?
2) If the answer is yes, try a different dressing like those I recommended here and see if you get a different result.
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you so much for your reply! I’ll give one of the recommended dressings a try.
Once again Pan comes through. I always questioned this. I like it to show it's on there but not too glossy. A lot of the tools I had weren't too good. But seeing this lets me know I was doing it the right way. Thanks again, Pan.
Awesome thanks for the positive feedback!
The optimum spray gun for my 1:1 OPT bond is probably my favorite tool 😃 great video as always !
Thanks!
Other than more potential for slinging, what are other negatives for oil based tire dressings? I have been having good results with Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel.
Some say it can deteriorate the rubber and dry it over extended use.
cant believe you daily that in mtl, even going to gatineau is hell bound with holes. I didn't know you how to do multiple passes with tire cleaner, that's good to know
Yeah a car is meant to be driven and enjoyed. :)
Hey Pan, I'm enjoying your videos for a few years now and you inspired me for starting my own bussines in deepcleaning cars (in addition to college)
Do you have any advice for me?
Btw do you know why in Belgium (Europe) we can't get the Ice Seal n shine from turtle wax?
Thanks!!!!
Thanks Matteo! And welcome to my channel.
I have many videos to help you start a detailing business including this one: ruclips.net/video/WV3FJcWf77I/видео.html
How did you discover my channel by the way?
Hey pan, how do you ensure sling doesn’t happen? I currently use a spray on tire shine but looking to switch to gel tire shine as it seems more cost effective as a detailer…
Gel is going to sling even more. Use a water based like meguiars hyper dressing, or better yet a tire coating.
PSS, new favourite tire dressing.
Yeah it’s so good
@@PanTheOrganizer It’s just so satisfying to apply. 😅
In your opinion, what is the strongest tire cleaner for tires that have a heavy silicone-based dressing? I have seen CarPro DeTyre, P&S Undressed, and Shine Supply Wise Guy, but I’m sure there’s others I’m not aware of
Of the three you mentioned, I only tested CarPro Retyre and it’s the best tire cleaner I have tried.
Hey Pan, since I am unable to get the mothers brush in my country, should I got for a stiffer or softer feathered/flagged tip wheel brush to use for dressing aggressive tires? Thanks!
Feathered/flagged tip will be more versatile especially on carpeted fender wells.
Pan … I value your opinion immensely… so I was interested if you have any experience or advise on a product called Dura Dressing tut coating? Thanks a bunch
Never tried it.
I always have issues with my raised white lettering. Not sure if I'm getting the tires clean enough but it smears some black from the applicator on the letters. I usually use my finger in a microfiber cloth and trace the letters clean. Bit of a pain.
I saw you RUclips on mosmatic spray nozzle tip. Is the spray ratio wider than the 40 white tip pressure washer tip?
I use a 40 degree tip
Do you have a favorite applicator you use for Jeep Wranglers or big SUV? I use the Adams one for my sport cars and my jeep but I can’t seem to get the best shine on the jeep tires. Thank you Ryan
For big tires, a good brush usually helps: amzn.to/3PME3SU
And use a spray on product which spreads easier and quicker, like this: amzn.to/3PPZl1P
Thank you sir
Pan, I use the p&s brakebuster and I saw in a video that you started using a foam cannon with it. Are you still diluting 5:1 in the foam cannon like you did in the pump sprayer or are you putting the liquid in by itself?
In the foam cannon, I use 60% Brake Buster and 40% water.
Thanks again for another great review. I finally had a few nice days and after all my prep work I was able to apply the Armor shield ceramic coating. My 10 year old Toyota Camry looks like new thanks to you & all you videos!
