VRP all day everday!! Its more versatile than just tires. Can use on vinyl, rubber & plastics

Back in the day, we used to simply wipe the tires with brake fluid, so I'm probably showing my age. I've been using VRP and have no complaints. I prefer a wipe on versus a spray since I don't want to get overspray on my car that I just washed and dried.

I put on the Meguiars about 3 weeks ago and I'm surprised it's still looking very shiny. I tested out Capro Lift on one side of my car and Wash Chem Pro 50 on the other side. The tires sprayed with Carpro Lift still looks untouched. The tires sprayed with Wash Chems Pro 50 (PH over 13) is about 50%. It's endurance is pretty good. I do have VRP, it does good, but a hassle to apply. I like the look of Chemical Guys Silk Shine, but it doesn't last long.

Chemical Guys has a better product for All-weather rubber Floor mats called Mat ReNew Rubber. VRP makes them slippery. I no longer use VRP, For a good year had used it for tires only, got poor results on plastic trim, and it is not meant to be used on interior trim. Then again, if it works for you and happy with it... Go with what works well for you. I now use 303 Graphine Trim Coating. For tires Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel. Yeah! tons of products on the market now and the pool to choose from keeps getting bigger. New is not always better!!!!

Meguiars endurance is what I use. You have to use a bit more product for a high shine as it is fairly difficult to spread across the whole tire. Mine lasted about 2 - 2.5 weeks driving about 110 miles a week before being dull again for reference.

The problem with this product is that after long-term use in burns the rubber in your tires, and then you cannot get them to shine with anything basically because it uses alcohol and that burns the robber, not to speak about the wheel wells, which burns the plastic, and makes them not shine at all

I now use Meguiar's Endurance, better than Chemical Guys VRP. It all depends on the Shine or appearance you seek. My 2023 Camry XSE V6 has gloss black wheels therefore, Endurance compliments the look. It is not super glossy or overpowering the Black Gloss Wheels on my Camry. My wife has a 2022 Civic Touring, exterior is Crystal Black Pearl so it is suitable for her tires as well. It was a Win-Win! : ) A few weeks ago, Advanced Auto Parts had Endurance 2 for $12, picked up 4 16-ounce bottles for $24, and had a $5 Speed Perks Reward so it was $20 ... break it down cost $5 per bottle. I am amazed at how little goes a long way. I've only used 1/4 of a bottle and done nearly 50 tires in the last month. My neighbors are happy as I have gone around to give their tires a shine. I've only used one 8x8 microfiber towel, reusing it on all the car tires since it is saturated with Endurance gel. That is from the 1st bottle bought when like $15 then after got 4 more at Advanced Auto. I am set for a year maybe longer. Love this stuff. That fruity Grape odor is nice too. I wear a Nitrile glove when wiping the gel on the tires because it is slick.

I’ve got no idea why so many people like the endurance gel… literally the only thing good about it is the smell.
-You need at least 2 coats, which requires waiting 1-2hrs between coats.
-It’s difficult to apply no matter which application technique you use
-It slings, even if you’ve wiped the excess off and allowed the dry time before driving
-again, even if excess is wiped off and the dry time allowed, it either gives the tire a brown hue and/or is a dust magnet
-It’s extremely heavy on the solvents and there are some reports of premature tire damage
-It’s super expensive and never lasts long.

Meguiar's Endurance tire gel. Is a huge surprise. After many years of using all types of tire shine and cleaning products. Endurance is very affordable and works like no tomorrow. Your tires do not even have to be very clean but not covered with mud. You will have to apply 2 or 3 coats but it goes on so easily. I have used the same all-purpose microfiber terry towel for 2 months. It is saturated with Mequiar's Endurance tire gel. One 16-ounce bottle has enough gel to do 60 tires or more. Again, I have repeatedly used the same 8x8 microfiber towel and have never seen it contaminate or smug a tire I have already applied Endurance on often. It keeps your tires shiny, even after driving in the rain there is no noticeable loss of shine. It has a nice Gloss, not super gloss like having a mirror shine. Touch-up is a breeze if needed. I purchased 4 Mequiar's Endurance tire gel a couple weeks ago from Advanced Auto Parts on sale 2 for $12, 4 for a total of $24 minus $5 Perks Reward was $20 making it $5 per bottle. Wow! For $20 I have enough tire gel to do my 2 cars for a whole year possibly 2 years. I have used a quarter or 1/4 of a bottle applied numerous times and on several of my neighbor's vehicles. This Meguiar's Endurance works like a charm.
Oh! it smells a bit like grapes ... nice odor. I wear a Nitrile Glove as it is a slick gel when wiping it onto the tires. Yes! there are spray tire shines but they cost more and quickly run out of product.
    ** about Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel **
Advanced, long-lasting formula endures even through washing and rain.
Rich gel eliminates overspray, runs, and drips providing an even and consistent high gloss shine.
Protects against UV damage and browning.
Advanced polymers provide lasting, high gloss protection keeping tires black with a rich, dark high gloss.
High gloss shine that lasts for weeks, Long-lasting, high gloss shine.
