  • I conducted a tire dressing/shine durability test between Adam's Polishes Graphene Tire Dressing, Griot's Garage Ceramic Tire Dressing, Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Graphene Acrylic Spray Coating, and Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Tire Shine to find the best of the bunch. I did my best to apply them the same and have the same conditions. Your results may vary from mine.

Awesome video, very thorough testing! griot's was one of the best in my test as well.

Really good test. It’s so hard to test tire dressings because of all the variables including tire compound and previous dressings etc. I actually had pretty good luck with the Adam’s but honestly nothing seems to really look good past 2 weeks if it rains for me.

Good test, it's great to see real world durability. I agree there are so many variables and about two weeks is all you can expect.
We get suckered into buying products due to the marketing.
    Good luck.

Oh this is perfect. Daily driver, outdoor parked, $20 or less products. Sure wish something would last 3 months.

I'll try to test those tire "coatings" in the future

Nicely done test and very thorough procedures used for the application. Your commentary was helpful with a good amount of detail. Watching this on my IPad at 1080p it appeared to me the Griot’s Ceramic looked the best because of the nice even color with no blotchiness. I would like to see a test of the Griot’s Ceramic Dressing and CarPro Darkside.

I like the way the Adams looks, that you can buy it in bulk and their instructional videos, not overly shiny but I like that the turtle wax has acrylic.
As for another potential contender, Mckees 37 graphene dressing?
Good video and even though I actually like the lovers in a certain way you were very scientific and realistic in your test!

Because of cost, about $35 a gallon, I use Pro Wax Blue Ice.

I love Adams graphene on my vette. Long lasting. I use TW exclusively for the body and am interested in their tire shine.

I purchased Adam's TrDr and the reason why is silly but when i was in the shop i looked up Coverall but found out it uses silcone and the cons of it and how apparently its only long lasting if you consistently use the product once every 2 weeks and how silocone pretty much deforms the rubber over time so i looked up Non Silocone tire dressing and 3D popped up but there was non but apparently for some reason Adam's popped up in the search so i got that instead. Thanks for the video

e en though its fading it doesnt mean there isnt protection. So thats what you need to do is test to see id the coating is still there. So not a reliable test

    • @DrewZ4
      @DrewZ4  4 месяца назад +1

I don't disagree with you that there could still be protection there but I buy this stuff to dress up my tire, not really to protect.

To me, the Meguirs on the back looked good that many weeks without touch up.
I would have also down two coatings the first day to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
Thanks for taking the time to do this!

No problem! I also did 2 coatings on the first day.

I've had great success with Lone Star. I find it to last a few months. Griots has a new rubber & trim coating coming out. It will be interesting to see how well it performs. I'm not a fan of spray on tire shine. Makes too much mess with overspray. Try testing Lone Star.

Noted. I do agree that spray ones do overspray
