Adams isn't meant to be shiny. It's meant to hold a specific dull shine that lasts. I think it would have scored better if that was taken into consideration.

Not pointless if you were to compare a few of the best from this round to some others! There are lots of these products on the market and what strikes me from this test is how difficult it must be to make a good tyre treatment product... Because frankly although some of these are half decent none impress me enough to want to use ANY of them. Some other half decent ones I've seen in other tests are made by Autoglym, Gyeon, Carpro and Optimum. They aren't the easiest kind of products to compare to be fair so I can understand your hesitancy

My go-to tire polish has been Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel. I apply it with a clean foam applicator pad. I allow it to dry for 15-20 minutes on each tire.
Oh, I also remember when this product first came out, Meguiar's offered it in both a low & high gloss formula. The current product is between both of those products. Some customers use to request their tires not come out so " shiny ".

Start the car & turn the front defogger on cold ( especially of you're cleaning outside or if in high temperatures ).
Dampen one and wipe entire inside of windshield
Take the dry one to wipe off any water spots.

It wasn't tested, but I use cover all by superior products. To my knowledge, only oreily carries it, but it is by far the best, longest lasting and wettest looking tire shine out there. It's a spray on, and if you let it sit like you're supposed to after applying, you will not have any slinging going down the road. I wish it was compared in the video to see where it stands. But it is the best I've ever tried.

A buddy of mine reccomended P&S double black, and I absolutely love it, if you go through a muddy patch, you can usually wash the tire off and clean it up really well. It lasts quite a while too, it’s a little labor intensive to apply, but you can buy it by the gallon, and it’s the best tire shine I’ve used to date. Extremely glossy finish and it works great on the interior too. It’s a water based dressing, so it’s not oily either, just really shiny.

In 1972, EPA issued a cancellation order for DDT based on its adverse environmental effects, such as those to wildlife, as well as its potential human health risks. Since then, studies have continued, and a relationship between DDT exposure and reproductive effects in humans is suspected, based on studies in animals. Great video! The key to Black Magic is wiping off the excess. I spray it on a foam applicator then wipe onto the tire. This way you don’t get that splotchy and uneven look or poor distribution situation you experienced. Black magic looks great… if you are into that shiny “wet” look, but the effect is short lived so you have to reapply. So it’s more of a car show type product.

@@JerboFotius I am not sure if it will remove red clay, we do not have that type of clay here in the Hartland. Yes, Comet the Bathroom Cleanser. I will use a stiff nylon brush & Comet. Once you think it is clean, no browning or dark foam, rinse. Then if you wish, follow up with paint thinner. If you wash your car on a regular basis, you will never have to do this process again. This process is only done if the tire is "hammered". Your tire dressing will last longer if the tire is "surgically clean".

My last set of tires I ordered to my house so that I could soak the interior as well. So far so good. The rubber components on my 30+ year old cars is pristine.
