Dak had 24 TDs, 16 turnovers. Josh Allen currently has 35 TDs and 17 turnovers. Comparing a mobile QB to a statue like Dak on turnovers, might as well burn Lamar too.
I’ve seen 3 of Allen’s picks that came on 3rd or 4th down and long, and when nothing was there, he threw the ball towards a guy near the end zone for a 50/50 ball.
The results being: an incompletion a completion, a penalty, or an interception at the 5 yard line….which amounts to a really really really good punt

A turnover machine is going against one of the best passing defenses in the league, and a defense that is excellent at taking the ball away.

As a Bills fan, I can say that the volume of turnovers is overblown. What is concerning sometimes is the timing of turnovers:
When he chooses to play hero ball and it's not needed, that's when it becomes an issue.
Or forcing a pass on an early down on our own side of the field.
Those are the turnovers that actually impact the momentum of the game. An arm-punt on 4th right before halftime isn't meaningful. Even those must-have plays that become turnovers aren't always on Allen because any QB has to take calculated risks when they're down and time is a factor. I think we've also just become accustomed to modern QBs who routinely throw less than 20 interceptions a year. Wasn't always the norm.
This year is not a really good year for Josh because his TD Interception ratio has been higher than previous year. This year up to this week 14

The last game that Josh Allen didn't throw an interception was week 4 against Dolphins since then, every game has been at least 1 Interception, and the Ratio TD/Int are 2-1 for most of those games. Therefore it is more likely Josh Allen will go for 2-1 against Cowboys but the thing is that The Cowboys is the team that highly skilled in taking the ball away so that's something that can make Josh Allen Interception balloon up to 2-3 INT. That's something to watch as well.
2-1 Ratio are generally bad for QB but, because Josh Allen also can run and do the Rush TD, the ratio will only tell 50-60% of the story. But still bad regardless.
When you factor in his Rushing TDs, and Lost Fumbles in 2023, his TD/TO ratio is 35/17, so essentially 2 to 1.

Yeah, he turns the ball over a lot because he's a gunslinger who takes chances. He's modern day Favre in some respects. Some of those turnovers are a result of playcalling, but many of them are because Josh is playing from behind and trying to make something happen. He's the type of guy who's always looking for the home run shot play, and will tend to force it even if it's not there -- but he's also nailed those plays countless times. He throws way less picks when they're ahead in a game.
If you don't think Josh Allen is a generational talent and a top 5 QB in football, you're delusional. He's absolutely in the conversation with guys like Mahomes, Lamar, Burrow, etc. He was on the cover of Madden this year, the curse is real.
