Growing up a Celtics fan and remembering the days I actually watched the NBA I love Paul Pierce but I am not sure I would trust his football knowledge. Keyshawn for some reason is loving on Dak and I am not sure what would change his mind.

3) The eagles won just 3 games right before their fired head coach Doug Pederson threw Jalen in to take over for Carson Wentz to seal their 4th win. After they made Jalen the starter, they went to the playoffs every year since, even with the revolving door of coordinators. How many wins did the 9ers have right before they made Brock the starter?

Aiyuk literally had the best season of his life with Purdy catching for 1400 yards where without Brock he only gets in the 800s. If Lance or Jimmy had been throwing to him he wouldn’t have even had 1000 yards (as proven by his stat history). The only seasons Aiyuk had over a thousand yards was when Brock was throwing him the ball.

The reason Dak wins so many regular season games is the Cowboys have the most (or second most) pro bowlers on their roster. In the playoffs, good teams make your weakest link beat you. I get that he’s made pro bowls and had some good regular seasons but Dak gets to touch the ball every play. In terms of “usage rate” compared to the rest of the pro bowl caliber players on Dallas, I think he’s their weakest link come playoff time. The Cowboys would be better off with a low ego game manager QB who accepts that “game manager” label instead of trying to prove everyone wrong and ends up throwing INTs from doing too much.
Gee, the executives, coaches, and scouts that all dismissed Purdy to the last pick of the draft aren't willing to put him in the Top 10? I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you. Hurts doesn't take the Eagles to the super bowl if Purdy doesn't get injured. I think the game against the 49ers last year proves that (and the 49ers knocked them into an irrecoverable tailspin after that game).
I still think they get to the Super Bowl. That 2022 Eagles team was better than last year’s especially defensively (3rd most sacks ever in a season) and they had way better coordinators meaning much better playcalling. Maybe that championship game woulda been more competitive but I don’t think last year’s matchup proves anything. Niners were just the better team last year like Philly was in 2022 & they exploited their lack of adjustments on both sides of the ball

Purdy is nice, but Mahomes proved he could win with Kelce as his main guy and no true second or first option for a receiver, equivalent to Tyreke Hill. Purdy has not proven he could do it without at least 3 from McCaffrey, Aiyuk, Samuel and Kittle. If Purdy lost 2-3 of these guys, kept 1 and added average receivers, then we could talk about that
Nah, Brady was genuinely carrying the offense. Yes he had Moss and Gronk but moss wasn't there his whole career and gronk was getting so injured it was difficult to tell whether he could make it on to the field. Purdy couldn't make the wide open TD throws in the super bowl to win the game. Statistically he actually isn't that great in the playoffs. Jimmy G took that team to a Super Bowl and multiple NFC Championship games and that was before CMC was in the backfield. That team is stacked as soon as Jimmy G left he instantly was one of the worst QBs in the league in LV to where he got benched. Let's see how Purdy is when he's paid and some of that core needs to go out the door before crowning him.

An emotional Dak fan boy telling other people to leave their feelings out of a conversation. Dak is a top QB against really bad teams and pad his stats or when they are way behind and the other team goes into a prevent defense. Look at the last 3 of his performance in their last 3 playoff losses and tell us again how is a top QB.

The fact that Dak legitimately had one of the best years for a QB last year but still can’t get far in the playoffs is the only reason people don’t agree.

Look at the games he played well in last year. He dominated the WEAK teams. They don't give you more credibility for that because that doesn't say much. His best win was against Detroit which was controversial and they were still a 7 pt favored
I get that but the team didn’t throw those picks that gave the game away in the first half against GB last year and in almost every other playoff loss they have had.
