      I really hope y'all don't lose Diggs bc of all this.. from how his brother is talking something is off. And we all know how close we are to our syblings and tell them how we really feel. Would be a shame to see him go somewhere else bc I know he loves the team. Like you said, I think it's a whole team collective issue but y'all will figure it out bc you have the talent.
      And btw this is coming from a Phins fan.. y'all played great against us but not sure why it didn't carry over but I personally don't think Dorsey was the issue bc the numbers don't add up why he was fired

      Also, I understand that Josh always holds himself accountable and takes responsibility for everything on the offensive unit. I really don't mind that at all, but right now, he's gotta man up!! He can't let people trash him and walk all over him!!! Please do not misunderstand what I'm trying to say here. He may be a superstar quarterback with turnover issues, but he's a good dude, and he's still the team captain. The way I see it, we'd be better off without someone who doesn't respect our leader when things get rough. josh allen is doing what he always has done, its the defense being injured that makes the turnovers highlighted because there is less room for error when the other team can score with you

    • @clarkkent1521
      @clarkkent1521 10 месяцев назад +4

      Correct. But the defense is still well above average this season. 5th in points actually which is still top tier in that category. Allen has had the luxury of having the #1 and #2 defense the last two years, now that the defense isn't top 2, and now but a measly 5th, his mistakes that he's always made can't be hidden anymore. If Allen needs nothing less than a top 2 defense for him to be elite, then he's not elite.

    • @skinnymelo
      @skinnymelo 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@clarkkent1521 His receiving core and his oline has been worse than they have the last 2 years as well. Being 5th in points allowed isn't the sole result of a defense nor is it the sole representation of how good a defense is. The Bills defense doesn't force turnovers and leave their offense with the worst starting field position in the NFL by far. Tons of other stats point to how much worse his defense has been as well but you wouldn't even need to talk about those cause if you simply watch the games you can come to the conclusion that the Bills are NOT a top 5 defense in the NFL lmao. So if a QB doesn't have an elite oline, doesn't have an elite defense, doesn't have an elite receiving core, doesn't have an elite run game, doesn't have an elite special teams unit and is losing games, that means they aren't elite? Lmao his window for margin of error is smaller than every other "elite" QB you can think of and it isn't remotely close. The Bills run game has always been non existent and their receiving core has always been carried by Diggs, the elite defense they had in the past made up for those issues and now that they're battered by injuries, the flaws of the TEAM are being exposed, not Allen. No one but maybe Tua with his elite receiving core throws the ball as much as Allen as far as a per game average goes and even with that fact, Allen is leading the league in completion percentage with only Lamar who doesn't throw the ball nearly as much near him. This convo is just stupid because there is no other QB you can think of that is put in elite convos that you can say has a smaller window for error. If the QB that is leading the NFL in touchdowns and is top 3-5 in every conceivable stat without an "elite" offensive team "isn't elite" then no one is.

As a lifelong diehard Buffalo Bills fan, I've expressed my frustrations about Josh Allen turning the ball over, and he improves. But this year, more times than not, he's been way too trigger happy, and that's what caused him to lead the NFL in interceptions while leading the league in touchdowns and being top 5 in passer rating. As a Broncos fan, I have to say I'm glad the OC didn't have the situational awareness to recognize the Bills could have run away with the game by sticking with a run-heavy offense. They gashed the Broncos with runs whenever they tried. I'll bet that Josh Allen will embrace having a new OC who is strong enough and creative enough to employ game plans that win games, and that means more use of a momentum-building running attack. There is still plenty of room for Josh to make big plays.

A good defense could neutralize the effects of these picks by limiting the points the other team scores as a direct result of these turnovers, but with a hobbled defense, these interceptions are going to directly result in losses.

      They lost to the Jets BECAUSE of Josh Allen. He had 4 turnovers. They scored 16 points. He had 3 turnovers (including another muffed handoff) against Denver. You can say the Pats loss is on the defense for failing to get a stop in that final drive. The one guy who can say he's losing even though he's balling out because the defense is terrible is Hebert. You put up 38 pts and still lose, you can use that excuse. You cannot when you put up 16 and one guy picks you off 3 times himself. You cannot when you're muffing handoffs.
