    About Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada:
    Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada is one of the top Japanese Chefs in the entire world and the most popular Japanese chef on RUclips.
    At age 10, Terada learned the basics of sushi from his father and then went on to attend RKC Chef's School in Kochi, Japan from 1987-1989. He soon earned a nickname for his fast knife, attention to detail, divine presentation and ability to create new dishes and accents based on traditional Japanese cuisine. After graduating RKC Chef School, he was called to serve under Master Chef Kondo at Yuzuan restaurant in Kochi, Japan from 1989-1992. Mr. Kondo is the master of Kansai style cooking, considered to be the high-end of Japanese cuisine.     Chef Hiroyuki Terada is using the Minonokuni Matsu-1573 210mm Yanagi. Super Blue Steel. Can also be used for breaking down whole fish and chickens. But normally for slicing, sashimi, vegetables, meat etc.. This is Chef Hiro's custom specked knife.

      You can watch any of these over and over and get hungry after just having a huge filling meal. Just like for certain an hour after eating too much rice on the Chinese buffet you're starving again and want two entire sushi rolls 😂.

    Korean miso is Doenjang( Korean fermented soy bean paste) the one which you are using chef, is Gochujang(Korean red chilli paste).😅

      I started to think gochujang was Korean miso! They do have a lot of same looking pastes tho😅

      When you look at them in real life, they have totally different color. It's not very easy to mix up the two since one has a brown color and the other has red

    Great recipe! As a kid from 80. We used to drink fresh eggs by making small needle holes 😂. No ever salmonella disease, but now it's scary. Thank you for recipe will try with half cooked egg 😅

    Dear Chef Hiro, this looks amazing! I might leave out the egg yolk just because l am not sure of the quality of eggs l could get around here, or maybe l would try to find quail eggs. But what you did with the salmon is beautiful.

    I know salmon tartar donburi. Never have I imagined you would cook salmon yukhoe rice bowl instead of tuna fish! What kind of fish is good for yukhoe donburi other than these fishes🍣? I have no idea🤔.

      As someone who loves raw egg, the key is to be very mindful of the freshness and pay attention to where you source the eggs. Not all eggs can be consumed raw.

    I’ll need to work on my knife skills but the assembly of the recipe itself is very simple. The main thing here is getting the sauce for the salmon here. I think if you can’t get the oba and sprouts you can at least sub for green onions/scallions. Otherwise I can get some sashimi from the supermarket I can assemble
