- We lost the Land Cruiser here in the United States, so this pretty much fills the void. A big hybrid Twin Turbo Sequoia!

"...bumper chastity belt..." 😂😂😂
Again, a great, funny and straightforward review. Love it Sarah.
I own a 2018 Platinum and its the second one I have owned. I previously owned a 2011 Limited Edition. Amazing vehicles and I love them. Tons of room and drives great!
Isn't 2011 and 2018 basically the same generation but just facelift? I almost forget how absolutely dated the previous generation was. They still look absolutely rugged though.
@@cloed0ll Yes - same engine and minor facia upgrades and safety features such as bsm, auto lights, laser cruise, etc. Also LED lights were added in 18.
As much as I love the UZ and UR V8s, I can’t knock the new Twin Turbo 6 like so many people do. The whole wastegate issue I feel was turned into a big doom and gloom scare piece about turbos. I guess it’s different through the eyes of a car enthusiast though 🤷🏻♀️
@@SarahnTuned every car manufacturer seems to be going to turbos. You can’t get away from them. The upside is gas savings and peppiness…the downside is the maintenance cost if that turbo breaks or leaks or needs replacement.
@@SarahnTuned I agree. This is Toyota, it's not going to be an experiment, they knew what they are doing
Great job on the video Sarah! Thanks for making it. Those clouds looked super dope reflected in that blue hood.
Sometimes I watch you do New vehicle test drive just to hear your dry sense of humor, without knowing what car you're testing. It put a smile on my face!!😜
Kinda random, but oh boy was the sky in the gravel pit scene ever gorgeous.
This was a very pleasant, light hearted informative review. I love your take on car reviews it’s fresh and fun to watch.
Your knowledge is abundant. Another easily understood, detailed, and marvelous review.
Geez I think this is about the best built consumer SUV i've ever seen. Its like a tank. Thanks for the great review Sarah!
I love your offbeat sense of humor.
I totally forgot it was on a 1-10 scale and not on a 1-5 like it used to be. The ratings make more sense now.
Thanks, I agree and I didn't know either.
Yeah, I changed up how I concluded the score a little still so it’s no “double”. The bean factor takes 0-60 into account mathematically but is then skewed based on gut feeling.
@@SarahnTuned does that mean the penguin score takes into account how many penguins like the vehicle?
Same… I was confused for a second. Glad I checked.
I really liked the chalk lines on the tires for the braking test.
Best RUclips car channel ever!!
That is a great looking vehicle for sure, and I actually like the interior look and exterior look. Doesn't hurt that the AWD system looks to handle pretty well. Great review Sarah, Happy New Year!
Another award winning review, honest and straightforward!! Loving it Sarah, even how to say the name of the vehicle 😂😂👍
Thank you Sarah!
Trees....BIG trees!🌲🌳
I love your humor, and your reviews are thorough.
That color is gorgeous. It's a lot like the Nautical Blue on my 4Runner which is fire!
As for someone that literally see’s these sequoia daily (I work at the plant), thanks for your review!
i dont own a car but i have two bicycles. i do love cars and car tech but i have no drivers licesnce. I love your videos for the comedy and the edumacations. Thanks for the video
i love your videos so much, i love your personality can never get enough
In off-road trails, i never use 4L... this is my ultimate weapon... only if I'm stuck... If i get stuck on 4H, i put the 4L.. And if it get slipper, it's easier to get faster to not get stuck on the 4H.
Great review Sarah! Just my preference I like when you say the ratings on your scale and explain it a little more. keep up the great work
New Fan, you're awesome. Love the reviews and videos. WTG. Love that you're a Vet. Keep up the Great Work.
Love your videos keep them coming
I don't watch many car reviews anymore but 0:02 Sarah is exceptional.
Love your love for Toyota!
Informative and entertaining review! Like your perspective and keep on making more reviews. thanks!
Toyota: 583ft-lbs of torque and transmission will take up to 650 ft-lbs.
Kia: Selluride makes 262 ft lbs mated it to a transmission that takes 264 ft lbs.
Thanks for those details Sarah.
Losing the Landcruiser was a bummer. They've really upped the ante on the Sequoia. Love the new scoreboard btw. Great review as always Sarah.
I love your channel Sarah keep up the great work!
Happy new year Sarah🌹🕊
Happy new year Sarah great show as usual
Measurement vital.
You sold this one.. I'll be testing it. Damn gorgeous. And a 6.. 😍😍😍😍😍
Helloing Sarah...Thanks for the video 🌻🐧
Thanks for another excellent presentation.
love your videos, you are many fun. Please we can have a stat sheet on curb weight, tow capacity, max payload etc. on trucks?
I love your car view videos.
Amazing review, you know your stuff! Love it and subscribed
Your rear camera caught the Sequoia crying when you were giving it the beans. Awesome review
I’m new to her Chanel and I thoroughly enjoy it.
I haven't even finished watching this video and immediately subscribed to this channel
First time on the new ratings. I jumped up to go buy one when I saw the 6.8. Damn now what do I do with a brand new Sequoia !!
Wow that is a cool Car Sarah, thanks for te awesome video like always - - I LOVE YOUR SHOP
I hope you can get the off road edition too for a review!
Honestly you are one of my top 3 car content creator
Another great review Sarah!
Excellent review!
Just the greatest 😊♥️
The probable reason you won't find too much "off-road goodies" in the new Sequoia is the room Toyota is letting for the slighly smaller and narrower 3-row US-spec Land Cruiser, made from the next gen Land Cruiser Prado / Lexus GX.
In those Toyota and Lexus are expected to put plenty of "off-road goodies" including higher ground clearance, longer suspension travel and a beefier shock system. The engine combo may actually be the same Hybrid Max (PHEV) as this Sequoia.
The next 4Runner would be then a lower 2-row BOF SUV based on this same chassis family, but with the T-2.4L I4 instead of a V6.
Thank You for your greatness Jeff Hines with Might Mouse Racers
You are ALL doing a great job on this car. You just need to keep pushing through the issues.
You’re the whole package, a gearhead, tech nerd, comedienne and incredibly beautiful
I just came here for the intro🤣
100% Spaztastic👍🏾
41.92mm. C'mon Sarah. 42mm. Love how your lilac top matched the lilac nuts.
Hey Sarah, awesome review as always. The Kapstone sure is pretty, but absolutely the Trd pro is the way to go, and I know which kind of cheese would fly the best Limburg😂🐧🐧🐧👍
Agree 100%. This generation Sequoia is really good looking I feel though compared to past.
All big 3 row SUV's should have 3rd row peasant blockers. :)
Very nice ride.
Oh thanks! Now I have to go get some fig newton's.
You should be over a million subscribers! You r great!!
3rd row peasant blockers, awesome
since u have problems recording ur car from outside in muddy situations...
i've seen some video
of a drone with recording camera
that "trace" the car
or a device in the car
after setting the desired hight & distance...
that would help ya alot
watch out for power cables though...
Love you 👍👍👍keep up up the great videos Sarah 😊
Nerding out with Sarah. Lot of clams needed to have trouble parking that rig.
Loved this video.
That's pretty neat! 🌲
I'm still a fan of the first gen model 👍
Loveeeeee your review.....again. This engine should be on the Lexus GX with the 10 speed and I would buy it tomorrow. 80K is a lot of money for a box on wheels. Many of us will never own one. Just too much for a day to day riding. This is a very solid truck, no doubt.
👋 Hello-ing! Wow....lotsa front grille there. And it's ginormous!
Hello, this car also has a height adjustment system
Love Sakina very much
Wow this looks like the new soccer mom status "off roader" that will never see dirt. Cant wait to see these all lined up at the school pickup zone. Great review tho Sarah have a great weekend!
Love the outfits lately!
Great review as usual, I'm curious about how fast are you going when you do the breaking test?
Never thought I'd see you mud wrestling, Sarah. You managed it without getting too, well, muddy, on camera!
Vice Grip Garage!
right on😎
@13:18 to the top, ? Question: did anyone see a wheel chirp or any sign of a wheel spin because i did not. Thank You Sarah.
It gets better mileage than my 2004 Sequoia with the 4.7. But I keep my cars until they need to be junked, and the turbos don’t scream longevity. But it looks sweet
I’m looking at the Lexus GX460. No turbo, 8 cylinder
would you believe them if they did?
Used to have a Sienna XLE. Called it the Lexus bus.
Hitachi twin tube dampers but had anti vibration equipment. Seems counter productive.
Hey Sarah, please test the TRD edition one
Damn that Ace Ventura...!!!!
Awesome review! Also, Tibetan spider squirrels is going to be my new excuse for everything.
"Sequoia because people like trees" random as it is, they probably said that on the board.
no trees were harmed in the naming of this vehicle
Lilac and blue screws
Algorithm… (out of town). Thanks! 👍👍👍
SpaceX did in fact chuck a block of cheese - into orbit as they tested the Dragon capsule. it now sits in the Hawthorne California factory. The moral of the story is that you can in fact chuck a block of cheese quite a ways.
Any chance that powertrain fits in a '74 Celica?
Would Toyota believe that the engine was lifted along with the tow hitch?
(asking for a friend)
Best car in Word ❤❤❤
Aluminium - 👌👍
This is a really nice rendition, but I don't think I would ditch my 2020 for one of these. I really can't get over the cargo space in the new hybrids. My 3rd row folds flat and its a ton of very useful and valuable space. And to be honest, I've seen 18mpg (calculated) on trips in it. It's not much worse than that even for daily driving. I don't see how current sequoia owners would benefit from a 23, but just my $0.02
I'm staying with my 70 D-100 it still gets 20 MPG doing less than 10 mile trips at a time.
They should have just refreshed the exterior of the last generation and put serious money into the interior
Don’t ditch those 2nd gens, they have the tanky 5.7 L V8, it’ll probably outlast the new v6 turbocharched ones too
Great review, but what a ridiculously complex drive train!
I could certainly go for, a whole bag of fig newtons...😁
90's boombox cheap, kick the bumper to read a QR code...nice! Fun take on this bloated grocery getter. I noticed an improved resolution on the driving footage, are my tired eyes deceiving me? Beautiful sky scenes remind me of how much I hate the PNW this time of year.
"Because of the way it is" 🤣 you ve been watching Vice Grip Garage, but that's fine 😊
I volunteer to drive you around when you get one 😅 👍 That way you can relax after a long day in the garage.
You may get some computation for that job their is a lot of us in the queue for that job 👍👍😎😎
@@brendanwhite9799 if you only knew 🤫
