I just built a black GAS67 for myself with Gateron Oil kings and white on black double shot PBT caps. Really enjoyed the process. But if I'm honest yours looks and sounds better. Great job!

i ordered the same kit and planning to buy the same keycaps, but i am afraid north facing pcb will have interference with cherry keycaps, do you experience this problem?
i really didnt experience any interference. if you're really worried about it i would suggest getting switches with long pole stems

omg cool! does it sound the same like mine? i feel like mine sounds very scratchy but tbh i don’t mind it. i do think i need to get better stabs
@@poongie Your build is more on the creamy side while mine is on the poppy side & yea I highly recommend you get new stabs, I've replaced my enter key stab with durocks atm

So I bought the gas67 and put in the stabilizers I did hear a tick and I didn’t have lube at the time so I just put it together and placed it on and it was stuck so my main question is it fine to put in stabilizers without anything? Cus without lube or anything it got stuck so is there anyway to fix it without lube or anything?
it should be fine, i have a feeling you assembled the stabilizers the wrong way? try to reassamble it again :)
Recently i have a huge intrested in this kit, so i wonder which colour should i go for ( purple or white ? )
hmm if you have a white keyboard i would go with the purple, but it’s really up to your preference!
@@poongie Nah I don’t even have a keyboard, this is the first that I wanna build . White it’s kinda good but the rgb kinda weak than the purple one , so I think I’ll go for the purple and white is really easy to become dirty
white is such an easy color to get, i so i think purple is a good choice :)
does the material quality feel "cheap"? on the gas67? torn between gmk67 and this keeb and yeah the ciy i'm buying is the wireless version so it has a debate still. what would u recommend though?
i think they both have the same quality of plastic. they’re not bad for a budget plastic case. the gmk67 might have a thicker plastic but barely. i wouldnt base my choice base on the plastic case since i feel like they have the same quality. i like both! but i prefer gmk67, much softer typing experience :)
May I ask which one would you choose? GAS67 or GMK67? Looking for the thockiest one but couldn't decide just by watching your videos (which are AMAZING btw) because you used different types of switches. I know that the GAS67 comes with a lot of things that I could use to mod out-of-the-box but don't know if this would be a game changer. What's your take between those 2?
hmm i would probably choose gmk67 just because it actually has more foams compared to the gas67 (and im a knob gal lol) so you can experiment with the sounds. a lot of the times you can achieve the thocky sound with playing around w diff foam material and switches! I hear that durock pom pianos, gateron oil kings, or ws quartz are great for thocky sounds!

I had to unscrew the screw-in stabs like 3 times bc 1) I got them upside down, 2) forgot to put stickers on pcb, 3) they seemed loose?? Also did you manage to screw the case closed together? I had trouble screwing it closed but I think I got there in the end. My spacebar sounds a little rattly tho 😭
my video was def not the best to follow lol. i lost some footage (like putting the pcb and stabs together). its weird as to why it would be loose tho, i dont think it should be loose. should be secure enough that you shouldnt have any rattle when you try to move the stabs. it was pretty easy to close the case, i think i used 3mm thick eva foam.maybe wire balancing can help with the rattling? or see if ur space bar is warp, that can also cause rattling. hopefully that helps!!
@@poongie hiii I fixed the problem! Turns out the spacebar rattles bc it needs more lubing. I had to take the whole keyboard apart tho and I decided not to use the silicone pcb foam. My keeb sounds pretty good now, maybe a little muted and quiet, but really nice. Thanks! ☺
