Great interview! I was lucky enough to see Bob in the late 70’s with Rainbow & Ozzy in the early 80’s, tremendous bass player & song writer, love this guy, great job!

Absolutely enjoying this! For Facts Sake has been on my reading list for some time, just need to start. Yes, I would love to hear more Ozzy/Randy stories, but Bob is so much deeper than just that era. And the fact you went deeper with him than just Ozzy/Randy is saying something special.

Buy the book, worth every penny. Once you understand bobs struggle with depersonalization you really understand the lyrics to diary of a madman. That song is about how bob feels with his bouts of depersonalization.

I saw deep purple in oz( 2sydney 1melbourne show) got to play soccer with ritchie twice. I will try and send some pics do you have an email. I also saw chisel and Jimmy a bunch.

I remember listening to Blizzard and Diary and thinking it was strange that a drunk like Ozzy could write such songs.😄

Bob is an all timer, I would have hammered him more on the Ozzy - Blizzard of ozz stuff and address the Holy Grail tapes, Osbournes keep lying. Good job

I don't think ozzy knows much about anything now, the real nasty piece of work all the way through his career was the thing he married.

Excellent work, Peter. Really enjoyed the labor of love you put into the questions. Bob has a fortune of insight to share; a legendary figure in the lore of Classic Rock/Metal/ect.

Seen Widowmaker support Nazareth in Glasgow ,1978 ....I think. Great night. Sadly Widowmaker never made it big, I think Bob touches on the reason , fighting after a gig . Still listen to 1ST album a lot . Superb Great interview .

Still watching this but i just had to comment about the absolutely pathetic Ozzy box set that the LIZARD WOMAN had released (behind his left shoulder for those at the back), you would think from that box set that Bob Daisley & Lee Kerslake had absolutely nothing to do with the first two albums at all. Apart from the first album cover there isn't another 'recognisable' photo of them in the entire box set. How small minded and petty of the LIZARD WOMAN. Not hard to see who was the brains behind the constant ripping off of band members. Excellent interview btw.
