I loved that scene the visuals of the zip ties the view that Al was there to walk through the door with him to the other side or tell him to keep fighting teared up instantly
This episode was epic. The perfect goodbye for Upton. The show was as it should be Sarge and Hailey. I will miss her much. it was so wonderful to see Alvin come to Hank - it was a healing for him. He and Hailey were a great team and definitely he was a father figure for her.

Like, the woman has been shot 3 TIMES! yet she’s still an officer! Next season I need either Burgess, Ruzek or Atwater, heck, all 3 to make detective! Pull a new guy from patrol or the academy like they did for Ruzek and Torres and make them work for it!
The next seasons in one Chicago, they should promote Severide to captain, Cruz to lieutenant, Voight to lieutenant, Ruzek, Atwater and Burgess to detectives and recruit more officers to intelligence.
Or Severide could be Chief! That way they all can stay at 51! But yes, definitely! Too much detective turnover in Intelligence, it’s time for the long timers to get what they deserve since they’ve all been there since the first episode and Bring in some fresh blood from the academy! We need another sibling set since the Dawsons and the Halsteads both left, I miss the dynamic of having siblings on separate shows, we also need another crossover! It’s starting to feel like 3 different universes because there’s not enough crossover 😢

Last night, season finale was very emotional I'm being very honest and I'm happy that Hailey (Tracy Spiridakos) is moving on to bigger opportunities outside of Chicago PD. I do hope next season, the showrunners find new characters to keep us fans interested in watching the show plus more Kim, Adam and Kevin screentime too.
I hope that in the first episode you see him and Trudy getting postcards from wherever Upton goes and if there is a time lapse between the end of this episode and the start of next season you see Voight tack the card to the wall with several other postcards or pictures from her. They developed too strong of a relationship for the writers to go on with future episodes acting like she never existed.

Ever since that whole covered-up-a-murder thing, it's just been one hit after another after another for Hailey. Poor girl needs a fresh start. I'll miss her, but hopefully wherever she goes next will be better for her.
Last night, while I was watching the basement escape scene, the electricity suddenly went out for my entire apartment complex… _for 2 hours!_ 😭 I was already in the middle of sobbing hysterically from that scene, and the lights going out for the entire block certainly didn’t help! lmao 🤣
I swear, I keep saying, if this character leaves, if that one leaves, then it won't be the same show, but look how many characters we've lost in the last 7 years. Lindsay, Olinsky, Antonio, Will, Upton, the other girl ( can't remember her name right now ) from a few years ago, and show still continues. It'd definitely not be the same without Voight, if he ever leaves. I still hope we don't lose Burgess, Rusek, Atwater, or Torres anytime soon. Also, hope they make Petrovic a regular next season to replace Upton.
Beautiful surprise seeing Olinsky's return in last night's harrowing season finale -- even if it was only in Voight's hallucination. Upton's exit was left open to one's own interpretation -- which was very cool. I'd like to think that she booked a month-long and well-deserved vacation to the Seychelles or Tahiti -- to consider her options. I least that is what I would have done. Farewell Tracy and Godspeed -- you will be missed. Luck to you in your new endeavors. 👮🕵️💙💯

Tbh i was ready to see Hailey depart. PD and Med have changed so much these past seasons that it just felt like it was time for a true changing of the old guards. It's kinda like when Will and Ethan left Med for me; bittersweet to see them go but I was ready to see them move on and see new characters take over. Thank you for the character you portrayed Tracy. I hope the next detective(s) that become part of the Intelligence Division will be as strong as you were.
They could have easily killed off her character in this episode saving Voight, but I'm glad they didn't so she has an option to come back in the future if she wants. It did feel like she had run her course with storylines, at least for now. It just sucks that she didn't get a final scene with the rest of the team though.
An amazing send off for Upton glad that Madson was fed the karma he inflicted on all his victims Voight kept his promise and avenged Noah and those before and after Olinsky's spirit must have given Voight all the strength to send Madson to hell where he rightfully belongs

The most heartbreaking revelation from Hank, which was a couple of seasons ago, was when Anna was at Voight's house, trying to get to know the real Hank Voight, and he basically told her that everyone he ever loved is gone, and that all he has now is The Job, which has become his only reason for living.

The actors wanted to leave to do something else. Halstead for instance while he left acting, he was still on set but directing episodes! However, I’m not sure about Chief Boden leaving.

The actors wanted to leave to do something else. Halstead for instance while he left acting, he was still on set but directing episodes! However, I’m not sure about Chief Boden leaving.
