I think Aha could be one of the strongest Aeon or one of the smartest. Because he's the only one that can break the 4th wall in the simulated universe constantly that Herta and her colleagues have to edit him. Maybe the real Aha even know that he's inside a game that's why he thinks it's hilarious and that nothing matters because the devs control everything hahahahaha

This is also my theory.
Elation encompasses the concept of bringing joy, excitement, and fun.
In a meta sense, being a game, Star Rail _itself_ follows the path of Elation.
Basically Aha is just the embodiment of "it's just a prank bro."
Aha reaction to trailblazer being Akivili and their reaction to Akivili revival was so intense. If Aeons follows only their own philosophy to the extreme why do aeon of elation will express such grieve and regret over what they did. Akivili and Aha have a very interesting relationship

Probably he's the Aeon of Elation, meaning exhilaration or great happiness. How he ascended would probably something like a tragedy happened to him but he perceived it as something comedic or something

in phantylia's 2nd phase, if you idle long enough, you can hear tinkling bells and kind of unhinged, elated laughter, possibly because aha is spectating
anyways, aha indulges in funny and entertaining events, and since he has confronted nanook before, he MIGHT be clowning on phantylia (affiliated with nanook) for being so weak
his laughter is actually bone chilling, it feels like you are being monitored continually

If you listen to Phantylia second phase you can hear Aha laughing, It's creepy as hell without music

@@staytunedwithdorothy now just wondering but prior to this fight was there another instance of Aha at all? (Excluding the sim universe and possibly sampo’s little bit) I find it interesting he’s watching this fight, I wanna believe it’s due to the trailblazer.
As the other replies states, you can hear Aha in Phantylia's fight. But i also want to point out that books on the space station describe how Aha and Nanook have major beef, like Aha caused Nanook's scar. I'm bringing this up because Phantylia is one of Nanook's followers (i think one of his creations?) so we could possibly see more of Aha when we see more Destruction enemies
I believe im the theory that sampo may be Aha himself following the trailblazer around as a human for fun to see how their story ends and that could explain his ability to walk in the snow without footprints and disappearing into thin air and also traveling up and down belabog

The similarities between Aha and Sheogorath of the elder scrolls is so uncanny both are incredibly unpredictable

I have a theory that the "narrator" voice that speaks when we interact with garbage bins in Belobog, and courier boxes in the Luofu is Aha himself.
Its not the Trailblazer speaking to him/herself, since it refers to them in 2nd person, instead of 1st person. And it does make some crazy wild comments which I can totally see Aha themselves making.
In the second part of phantylia's boss you can hear Aha laught making fun of her
From my my understanding Aeons are the embodiment of the paths and the paths just meant the understanding and what you think of existence as a whole and I think that the trio of Akivili Aha and Nanook actually all got to the same conclusion "existence is a mistake/they're inside a game" Nanook took the direct path of just trying to destroy it all While Aha and Akivili are the different part of the same coin one wants to explore help and cherish existence while the other just saw it as a joke and since nothing matters why not just have fun with it(basically Akivili wants to spread joy while Aha just wants to indulge in it they're kinda like Batman and Joker at that point a Batman that just helps instead of beating criminals up and a Joker with no obsession with Batman and is just unhinge)
I'm wondering if Sampo is even his real name, because one of the Stellaron Hunters is called Sam which has caused people to assume that maybe he's just one of them and not a Masked Fool. However it could be a coincidence and they are two different individuals, or maybe it isn't a coincidence and Sampo uses the name Sampo just to mess with the theorists, honestly if he did a fourth wall break and addressed this I would laugh. 🤣(Although its also possible he's in both groups)
Anyway I hope we see more of him, he's a pretty entertaining character and he's interesting from a lore perspective since just like March the rating gun on Herta's ship says that he has an invalid rating. The only other person that gets this result is Jing Yuan and he's an emanator of the Hunt, so maybe Sampo will end up being an emanator of Aha?
It confuses me how jing yuan, an EMANATOR of the hunt, is still an erudition path character
@@worm2976the paths in game aren't canon, bailu wouldn't take the abundance path considering the xianzhou's past with the aeon and clara having the destruction path doesn't really make sense.
Jing Yuan is still an emanator of the Hunt. Only in-game he's Erudition because his specialty is AOE

Aha maybe surprisingly wise and powerful as the tree he was standing on was likely the Imaginary Tree, thus granting it the full understanding of life and the universe
It wasn't the Imaginary Tree. The Imaginary Tree is an 11D structure and holds infinite universes. The tree Aha stood on was something else entirely. It was a tree connected to the universe of HSR, which has nothing to do with the Hi3 universe.

@Aha Gotcha The tree Aha was on was called the Tree of Existence, which very specifically affects the HSR universe and not the whole of Hoyoverse like the Imaginary Tree does. People have just theorized that it's the Imaginary Tree, when in fact it's not because that would contradict the lore of Hi3 and how the Imaginary Tree works. No being that is 4D can climb to the higher dimensions of the Imaginary Tree. The only beings that can do that are the strongest Herrschers and the Outer gods from Ggz, who are actually way above the limit of the Imaginary Tree. Aha and the other Aeons are limited to their respective universe, which is a leaf on the Imaginary Tree itself. So the tree Aha climbed is a universal tree within a leaf of the Imaginary Tree. Imaginary Tree > Tree of Existence

Elation has always been my favorite path and it would be awesome if we get to encounter Aha in the story...
Aha inflitrated the Express and stayed unnoticed for over a year. Who is to say he hasn’t done it again already? Maybe someone we already know very well is Aha? Like how Sparkle been sus since the start of 2.0.
Talking about masked fools and taverns, reminds me of a world quest in Xianzhou Luofu where you'll apparently meet another member of them there (it's the one with the Unshackled group iirc)
Her letter (mentioning hoping to see us in a tavern in the future) and her demeanor through the wq made me kinda hope we'll get more of those in the future, they're entertaining and interesting to me haha
I think Xipe would be a cool topic because I don’t know a lot about them. Aha is probably my favorite as well as Yaoshi & Xipe, they’re just too cool :-) But in lore terms, I don’t agree with the ideals of Aha and that humor is the solution to everything
Most Aeons represent the extremes of human ideals. Normal people often find “balance” better than any extreme. Logically, HooH is the closest to my perspective. Although, I can’t say IX (or even Nanook) is wrong.

While I wouldn't say either of them are my favorites(at least, not right now,) I definitely find Aha and IX the most interesting, and assuming we will eventually get a section of main story related to every Path/Aeon, those are the two I look forward to most. Right now I think my favorite Aeon is Lan, simply because Dan Heng and The Hunt Path Resonance carried me through most of the game and the Xianzhou Luofu is my favorite area, but I mostly haven't paid enough attention to the lore yet to pick favorites of most characters besides their gameplay.
I do really love Sampo though, and I'd love if he came back to the story later, especially as a "different" character
Elation is catharsis and catharsis can be felt through comedy and tragedy. I think that’s why even tho the Mourning Actors oppose Elation, they still follow this path through tragedy.
Hoseo is part of Nameless. He follows the philosophy of the Akivili.

I legit forgot about the sampo cutscene at the end of belobogs mission, i remember watching for the first time and having shivers
I would argue that among the Aeons, Aha, and Akivili were the most "free," because their paths coincide the most with freedom. Akivili's path of Trailblaze is all about freedom and exploration, so THEY had almost as much freedom as a mortal would. Aha's path of Elation is all about taking joy and pranks of all things, so THEY can basically do whatever, as long as it's sufficiently funny. THEIR paths are broad enough to allow THEM an approximation of free will.
I’m excited for this upcoming patch, Penacony seems to have multiple paths that’ll be tied in their trailblazer mission. Also with the addition of Sparkle I’m excited to see what Penacony will bring in terms of more knowledge about the Masked Fools and Aha

And another masked fool we met in a world quest when we and the masked fool convinced 3 people to free belobog robots in Dan Heng's place because they are "endangered" 😅😅😂😂😂. These people ended up in jail (or paying penalty i forgot) because belobog robots has substance in them that's harmful to the waters in Dan Heng's place.
