@@JakeCoasters same. orion is awesome. got a ton of rides on it a few weeks ago in 100 degree heat index and it was flying, even with the trimmed airtime hill. those rides got me to like it more than levi, actually
Of the three gigas I've ridden, rode Millennium Force most, Orion once, and Fury 11x on my first visit to Carowinds late this summer. I agree it is near perfect--great drop, great speed, great effects that don't beat you up but certainly don't lull you to sleep either. MForce is also excellent for the first drop, speed, and I really like how the first hill is so thin--just feels more daring. My one ride on Orion this spring seemed a lot more rough than I expected, so I downgrade for that. Certainly one ride is not a fair sample size, but in my experience with these three, I go 1) Fury, 2) MForce, 3) Orion. (Diamondback is by far my favorite coaster at KI for great drops, great air, and a great layout. Just isn't a giga.)
@@arturobianco848 well yeah OK than that is my favorite, but I would count Hyperion or Shambhala more like giga-style-coasters before Red Force. 82m drop against 91m, I would argue that you'd hardly feel the difference.
I don't hate Orion, it's just that Diamondback is a better ride. Haven't been to Canada's Wonderland, but in all the other parks except Cedar Point, the giga's are the best things there. I'm torn between I305 and Fury, they are both great and completely different. But I'll take Fury, it was my first Giga , and the one I compare all other to.
I have only ridden one giga, and even that is questioned at can you rank it with other ones, but Red Force is one of the biggest adrenaline rushes I’ve ever experienced
My favorite giga-coaster...is the one that Knott's has been gun shy about building for almost 15 years now. Remember the December 2021 "leaked blueprints" 🤦♂️ That's why I created my own layout and rendering with Escape Designs, it's on RUclips. It's the most in depth visualization of a concept you'll ever see for Knotts Berry Farm. It took over 1 year to make, please enjoy it!
Its my top 2 coaster overall after 900 creds so nope it would have been more controversial if it wasn't in the top 5. Considering what you like its either nr 1 or 3 or 4 on your list if you are a coaster geek.
Since i haven't done the one in Japan and Orion (wich i hope to do in august when i finaly get to that park) her is my list. 1 (insert name here)-305 I just love the intensity 2 Fury 325 Its almost the perfect coaster it has just one turn that doesn't very much and its weak enough that anybody can enjoy it (wich its why my nr 2 not intense enough) 3 Leviathan Very good coaster but just slighty less in evrything then Fury. 4 Red force very nice launch and that top hat is great but thats it to much of a one trick pony 5 millanium Force its nr 5 cause i only have done 5 of them except for the first drop its a peace of crap in my opnion. Its smooth and it goes fast but after that drop it doesn't really do anything.
i305 is clearly the #1 to me, as my #1 coaster overall ive never experienced anything like it, its by far the most intense thing in the world and no B&M giga can stack up to it, except maybe fury but i havent done that yet. I dont understand how leviathan is 4 and orion is 2 thats just wierd.

@@coastercult4142if it has a drop of 300 feet or more, it’s a giga. Quality use of terrain cannot be discounted or discouraged. When riding you still experience a 300 foot drop. Fury 325
I305

I305
Finally, someone else appreciates Orion! Obviously it can't touch Fury, but it's a great ride and my #5 overall.

0:11 THAT TRANSITION 🔥
Loved the video!! The only Giga I’ve ridden is Millennium force! It’s a great coaster!
Millie is the o.g. and still great!
🤗
What do they all have in common? CEDAR FAIR. Which is why we should be happy they are in charge of 6F
Here's hoping we get more. I realized I couldn't do a top 10 with this because there aren't even 10...oof

Yeah fury at 1 is my guess too

Leviathan at 1:44 you hit that part so damn fast its insane, decent air time as well

Back row on I305 is one of the best experiences ever. But nothing beats front row on Fury 325

And coming in at number 0 from behind with a steel chair, it's Steel Dragon 2000!
Morgan Manufacturing for the win yet again!

W list, just earned a sub
I live in Europe... no gigas around. But hey, we got The Ride to Happiness at a couple hours away...

Maybe Thorpe or Energylandia one day
Red force at ferrary world in spain counts as a Giga so we have 1.

My favorite as of now is 305. Just went yesterday. Rode it 8 times. I also rode m force. 305 is way better. Might be heading to Carowinds next summer.
Definitely a solid Giga
Fury 325, Orion, Millie, i305, (haven't done Leviathan)
