I've been lucky enough to have ridden all of them as well. I'd rate them: 1) Fury 325 2) Millennium Force 3) Intimidator 305 4) Orion 5) Leviathan 6) Steel Dragon 2000 7) Red Force *8) Superman Escape from Krypton (I count it based on the drop)

Pretty happy to have what many people consider the #1 giga right in my back yard though :D
A lot of people don't realize that Orion is not running at full capacity. So there isn't a lot of energy on the train to bring down the drop with more momentum. Running at half capacity significantly impacts the rude experience
Yeah right, not sure why more people don't lend their videos for compilations like this. As long as I'm being credited I don't care if someone uses any video or photo of mine, but everyone is different I guess 🤷♂️
I rode Orion twenty times today, and I never once grayed out on Orion’s Belt. That being said, Orion is actually my favorite giga. I haven’t ridden Red Force or Steel Dragon, but I just love Orion so much. It’s the fact that it’s so picturesque and so rerideable (hence the twenty rides). It was so smooth and fast that I felt like I was flying. Plus the themeing was pretty awesome! I know it may sound crazy, but Orion is my favorite giga coaster.
I always love seeing my home park represented. I’ve ridden Fury more times than I can count, and it absolutely deserves the ranking and Golden Ticket Awards. Great list! Thanks, Taylor!
I rode Intimidator 305 a couple weeks after it opened, so before the first turn was widened, and the grey out took my breath away. Easily my second favorite roller coaster ever (#1 is El Toro).

The Little Dipper at the Memphis Kiddie Park in Brooklyn, OH is the oldest operating steel coaster in its original location. Worth a ride for the history. Kappa
if i had to pick my favorite family coaster from all coasters i have ridden i say without shame, Colorado Adventure. Maybe its because of nostalgia cause this was my first coaster i rode
I've only ridden Red Force out of this list, but it was amazing! Even though Furius Baco has a better launch, and I prefer Shambhala as a whole ride at the same resort, I could really enjoy Red Force for the ride it is. Not too complicated, huge thrills.
That 9 out of ten was in 2017 and in 2019 he liked levi even more than in 2017 so that confused me. Also in 2017 he said he liked Levi better than Millie in 2017 so it’s weird in 2019 when he liked Levi even more and than ranks it lower...
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate that Taylor goes across the entire world to ride roller coasters for the channel? If that’s not dedication I don’t know what is lol.
If I had the means (money) or the talent to do these things, I’d LOVE to go all over the world. Unfortunately I have no talent. And no money. And no talent to make me money. Lol.
Awesome list! Out of all of the coasters on this list, I have only ridden Intimidator 305. I definitely agree with its intensity and it's "blacking-out" ability. I went to King's Dominion several years ago with a good friend of mine, I believe it was the debut summer for the '305 and was definitely before the trim brakes were added. Long story short, after the initial drop and during the second or third jolting turn he turned to me and screamed "I just blacked- out!" Insane, I'll never forget it.
You're spot on with Millennium Force! I really wasn't expecting much at all with all the bed press it receives, but I loved it and would happily say that I preferred it over Steel Vengeance 😆
MR quavers I haven’t rode millennium force since 2016, so maybe when I go back this summer my opinions will change. But when I rode it back in 2016 I was pretty disappointed tbh, and I think Orion is just better lol.
It’s interesting to see how this list stacks up with the old one from a couple years back. Great video! Cool to hear this from someone who’s ridden every giga
I would definitely rank leviathan much higher as the drop is unlike any of the others on this list, it give you a bigger sensation and also in terms of ride experience, because of the clever engineering with sand etc. you don’t go deaf when on the ride which is a huge bonus in my eyes!
I agree~ It doesn't have the strongest layout, but I feel it focuses on speed super well, amazing ejector speed hill, great floater airtime, and it's still amazingly smooth, after almost a decade of operation. If you know the guys at the Chain Lift, they rank Leviathan as their favourite giga roller coaster, and that's saying something about giga coasters like Fury 325 and Intimidator 305. Leviathan is an example of just amazing engineering of what you can do with space, since the land it sits on is not very big at all. But none of that speed is wasted, especially with all these airtime hills. On a summer day when it's running great, Idk how B&M managed for the train to fly over these hills, while still maintaining a good speed until the end.
@@TonyKimtheamusementparkfan the layout is short however it gives fantastic airtime which is something none of the other gigas can say. And it gives such a different experience every time. Some days it’s crawling over the hills which gives great sustained floater but other days it flies over hills giving amazing pops of ejector. It was a pioneer for b&m with the new supports and also a pioneer for all new rides with the sand filling technique. It’s one of b&m’s finest although it has some competition with behemoth in the same park, which I also love
@@Gabes1321 Yeah I've definitely ridden this during Halloween Haunt in 2012 and it definitely wasn't as fast as it was, but still fast to give great airtime and still fast~ I've mainly ridden it in the summer months and it's cruising through the layout, and that's the Leviathan I love.
Hey coaster studios I've ridden 3 of them. Fury 325, Orion, and intimidator 305. My ranking is 1. Fury 325 2. Orion 3. Intimidator 305. The reason why is because I305 is too intense for me. You're a cool guy and have a cool channel. Keep up the great work
Yay. The video I’ve been waiting for. This might be an unpopular opinion but I love Intamin lift-hill Giga’s. Thanks Taylor for explaining the polarization that people have about Millennium Force because it’s not as bad as some people make it to be. Great job Taylor and Stay Safe
Leviathan is very fun and it is my favourite ride at my home park, Canada’s Wonderland. Remember that Leviathan was the first B&M giga and they used the results from Leviathan to help make fury better when they built it. If it weren’t for Leviathan, Fury would not have turned out nearly as well as it did. I think Leviathan deserves some extra points for this and maybe should be ranked 5th and Orion ranked 6th or something but idk it’s your list.
Carowinds is my home park and I’m so glad it’s my home park because of fury 325 cause when it’s scarowinds (Halloween) on Sunday’s there’s no line for fury so I rerun it so many times❤️
I’m so happy they didn’t give fury to CP and MF to carowinds best carowinds had at the time was intimidator and CP had a strata and a giga carowinds deserved fury
Nice list! Millennium Force is my FAVORITE giga (its importance, the logo, location, music, the little things), but Fury is a better ride in my opinion. If I’m doing it just by ride experience, I’d probably go Fury, Millennium, i305. I love them ALL though.
Awesome video! Kings Dominion is our home park too, so I was glad to see 305 at the top end of your list. Fury 325 is now on my list to try when the parks start opening back up.
I went on Leviathan as I live in Canada, I haven't had the chance to ride any of the other giga coasters, but Leviathan's experience makes me want to ride more
same, it's pretty good but tbh I wasn't that excited about it at first given we already had behemoth. I'd love to ride more intense rides at some point
Could you do a video about why B&M puts trim breaks on so many of their rides? If the airtime would be unsafe without the trim, why not just make the hill taller so that the train can still fly through the rest of the layout at high speed?
The conditions on any given day can change the speed of the ride. Trust me, you need the trims to take that into account or else disaster will strike. Just get over the trims.
levi is at my home park and is the only giga i’ve ridden but i agree with the top three. fury and i305 look absolutely amazing and millie deserves all the respect.
5:22 Yeah I did three rides in the morning, back row on i305 and that third ride I blacked out on. Still I consider it my favorite giga, followed by Fury and milli.
I have only rode one giga and that is leviathan I feel like some elements are no talked a lot about enthusiasts like the first drop and you go into that tunnel that is like the Leviathan is looking at you because of the eyes above the tunnel this was B&Ms first take on a giga and everyone ranks it last that is something I do not get
Leviathan is still a good ride but the other gigas have better elements or scenery than it. I’ve ridden three. Leviathan, Millennium Force and Fury and I do prefer Millennium and Fury than Leviathan
John Lorton well I mean it has 2 good near miss elements and some good airtime. Also coaster enthusiasts usually give coasters some slack for example Millennium force for being underrated and how mystic Timbers has a themed brake run. But coaster enthusiasts don’t care about leviathan being the first b and m giga or having 2 pretty good near misses (the tunnel and the bottom of the 1st airtime hill)
That is my bad I was very biased Leviathan is the first giga by B&M so B&M made a better version with Fury I get that that is my bad and I need to ride Fury to see how good it is that is my bad
This is awesome!! Just discovered your channel today and it’s all I’ve been watching today!! I’ve had the privilege of riding Millennium Force as a kid when it was new and this year, rode Orion! Can’t wait to ride the rest! Thank you!!
I’ve only been on leviathan and millennium force I was supposed to do Orion but borders are closed so I can’t leave canada😖 but I find leviathan better then millennium force
I've ridden all three and Leviathan is a better ride. A better mix of elements and more airtime. I will say Orion's overbank and the last transition into the brakes are the stand out moments of the ride.
Intimidator 305 is my favorite ride of the parks I've been to. I recently got to ride Manta at Seaworld and that one was the most unique ride I've been on. But, yes 305 is very intense and the park itself does recommend taking a break after two consecutive rides before getting back on. The first time I rode it the G forces on that first turn actually dislodged my nasal congestion and helped it start to drain away lol.
Out of these I’ve only been on Millennium Force and I was lucky enough to be one of the people that got stuck on the climbing up part but the ride was amazing and I’m planning on going back to cedar point and I will definitely ride again
Here is what I think would be my list (I haven’t ridden any of them) 1: Fury 325 2: Orion 3: Intimidator 305 4: Millennium Force 5: Leviathan 6: Steel Dragon 2000 7: Red Force
Only ever done Fury 325 from this list but I have to say, it's the ULTIMATE experience. I love that it's intensely thrilling but somehow not a workout like some intense coasters.
@@johnepants Honestly, that just makes it more surprising that Six Flags hasn't built any. Building massive rides with no money left over to run them is a very Six Flags thing to do.
I've ridden only top thrill dragster and of course millennium. Millennium is fast and intense. The intimidator on the other hand looks way more intense. I want to ride it asap. The twist and turns look insane. I can only imagine riding it. I love coasters in my later ages Thank you for posting.
Leviathan is the only giga I’ve been on (keep in mind my first coaster was last month and I’m deathly afraid of heights), and I loved every second of it (except the 50 minute wait)
1. Walibi Holland 2. Over Georgia (doesn't have a midcourse) 3. La Ronde (doesn't have a trim until the 2nd half and doesn't have a midcourse) 4. Great America 5. Magic Mountain 6. Fiesta Texas 7. New England
Great video! I've only ridden two of the coasters on your list but they're number one and two on your list so I'm not complaining. Intimidator 305 is definitely not for the faint of heart but I like the KD version of Dale's coaster a tiny bit more than the Carowinds Intimidator, and I couldn't agree more with you about Fury 325...it's truly in a class above and beyond any other ride I've ever experienced. Carowinds is my home park although I live close enough to KD for it to be my second home - maybe I'll run into you there sometime!
I feel extremely lucky that fury 325 is in my hometown. I remember the day I rode it the first time, it was the first ride I rode that day and later in the day after riding the other rides, I went back to fury to ride it three more times. I think the weird thing about it is it feels great to ride because of how smooth it is plus the speed. Just all around an awesome ride!
This I a great list but from what I hear all these coasters sound amazing and sadly I’ve only gotten to ride fury 325 case Carowinds is my home park but I’d love a recommendation on which of this costars I should visit
I think it’s really cool you already have the opportunity to do this. I’ve been on three gigas, all of which are in my top ten Overall. 3. Leviathan 2. Millennium Force 1. Fury
can someone help explain why giga coasters are in RCT2 even though the first one hadn't been built yet at it's release Edit: My fault, looks like when i had searched for the release date of rct2 google somehow gave me the release of the first installment.
@@blacklisted351 Well, kind of. It took the name Giga Coaster from Millennium Force. But the ride has one-spine track in RCT2. Millennium Force is mostly two-spine track. I think the ride was added into the game to recreate Goliath at Walibi Holland, Aka Six Flags Holland in RCT2. RCT2 added a lot of coaster types purely so Six Flags rides could be recreated in the Six Flags parks recreations - like the 4th dimension coaster so they could recreate X ingame. So i think the "Giga Coaster" is based on Goliath at Walibi/Six Flags Holland, and not Millennium Force, and simply only took the name Giga Coaster from Millennium Force.
I was supposed to take a road trip up to kings island and cedar point this year (FEELS BAD) so I've only ridden i305 (home park) and Fury. I love both of them, and I really hope to get on Fury again some time soon
I think I asked about this footage in a different video and it still confuses me, at 2:40, why does it look like Red Forcr is running the track in reverse?

2) Millennium Force

@John Lorton still it did not deserve 6th, i agree fury is better but still, 6th?
This is awesome!! Just discovered your channel today and it’s all I’ve been watching today!! I’ve had the privilege of riding Millennium Force as a kid when it was new and this year, rode Orion! Can’t wait to ride the rest! Thank you!!
Intamin gigs more fun because of the feeling of exposure with only 2 seats across. Fury does kick azz.
I loved the vid but I just wanted to say awesome thumbnail! Everything is pieced together very smoothly. If you made it, nice work
Thank you! And yes, I make all my thumbnails.
Fury325 almost took my breath away. Loved it!!!
Yes! Fury 325 reigns! The ejector you get on those hills is insane for a B&M giga.
Thunder Dash eh it’s kinda underwhelming
@@ConceptualCoasters it really looks to have a lackluster ending compared to Orions powerful helix and two ejector airtime moments
Fury 325 really is unmatched, curious how much longer it'll reign as the giga king
Jake it’s not I hope it’s close because of somebody die in furshit 325
I’ve only ridden Orion but I am really looking forward to fury next year when I go to carowinds
As a cedar point regular I was shocked at how much more insane Intimidator and Fury were compared to Millennium Force
Had the opposite effect for me. Sat in back row for both of them and they weren’t nearly as smooth and less airtime than MF.
that’s scary to me haha. millie is my first (and only until tomorrow) giga and i grayed out on the first drop!
I live in Charlotte and I’ve only ridden the fury so I definitely agree with this list!
I've ridden Levi and Fury. I really enjoyed both so idk which one is my favorite cause I don't really pick favorites lol
The only park I’ve been too is Cedar Point cause I live an hour away
If you are that close to CP you should really come down to KI. Great park!
Do you live in Cleveland? Cuz i'm moving to cleveland this august and it's only like an hour drive away from cedar point.
Michael Lee I actually live in Toledo which is actually closer to Detroit, than it is to Cleveland or Cincinnati.
That's like saying you've only tried beluga Caviar lol. You started with the best
Lucky
Out of these I’ve only been on Millennium Force and I was lucky enough to be one of the people that got stuck on the climbing up part but the ride was amazing and I’m planning on going back to cedar point and I will definitely ride again
Fury is the only giga I've ridden and it's by far my favorite coaster of all time
I’ve been waiting for this moment for a VERY long time.
Here is what I think would be my list (I haven’t ridden any of them)
1: Fury 325
2: Orion
3: Intimidator 305
4: Millennium Force
5: Leviathan
6: Steel Dragon 2000
7: Red Force
Orion is 2? Millennium Force and I305 is better than Orion. Orion is not even intense and has the similar layout to a hyper coaster
Orion is defo the worst out of the B&M giggas. Levi for the win
Trendace What’s the point of your invalid opinion if you haven’t even ridden it
Went on Fury 325 about 40 times over the last 3 days. Amazing coaster.
I305 is so good! Its intensity shocks you every time low to the ground and it’s super smooth. I can see why people like fury though
No its not. Rough and boring
I 305 is in my home town and yes one of my favorite rides and love seeing people's reactions on their first time riding it.
The fact that there's only 7 rn in the world and 2 are in Ohio, just shows how underrated the state is for theme parks.
it's not really underrated imo lots of people talk about cedar point
ohio park-to-giga ratio is insane
I've done all of the North America Gigas I haven't done Steel Dragon 2000 or the one in Spain.
I was expecting millie to be dead last! I love millie so much!
YO IT IS CEDAR FLAGS
Only ever done Fury 325 from this list but I have to say, it's the ULTIMATE experience. I love that it's intensely thrilling but somehow not a workout like some intense coasters.
Can you rank your top ten wooden coasters? I want to see how Boardwalk Bullet compares to the rest.
1) Fury 325
2) Intimidator 305
3) Millennium Force
4) Leviathan
5) Red Force
6) Orion
7) Steel Dragon 2000
That moment you realize all 5 gigas in North America are all owned by Cedar fair. 🤔
That’s true. I think Six Flags being a giant financial mess helps too lol
Cause they have the money for it lol
@@johnepants Honestly, that just makes it more surprising that Six Flags hasn't built any. Building massive rides with no money left over to run them is a very Six Flags thing to do.
@@DoomPlague X2 is just as good as a giga and Tatsu shits on every B&M hyper
@@JJJJ-he8bz of course Tatsu shits on every b&m hyper, because it's not one.
I've ridden only top thrill dragster and of course millennium. Millennium is fast and intense. The intimidator on the other hand looks way more intense. I want to ride it asap. The twist and turns look insane. I can only imagine riding it. I love coasters in my later ages
Thank you for posting.
Awesome list I’m surprised you put leviathan a little low CW is my home park overall great list Taylor
Leviathan is the only giga I’ve been on (keep in mind my first coaster was last month and I’m deathly afraid of heights), and I loved every second of it (except the 50 minute wait)
I hope I can get on fury this year. I’ve already been on millennium so I wonder if I’ll like fury better?
Nice!
Next can you do top 7 goliaths?
1. Walibi Holland
2. Over Georgia (doesn't have a midcourse)
3. La Ronde (doesn't have a trim until the 2nd half and doesn't have a midcourse)
4. Great America
5. Magic Mountain
6. Fiesta Texas
7. New England
Some surprise rankings on this list! Now, if Carowinds would open so I can finally ride Fury 325!
Of the four gigas I've ridden:
1. Fury 325
2. Intimidator 305
3. Orion
4. Millennium Force
I agree
Me too
Great video!
My Order imo:
7. Steel Dragon
6. Red Force
5. Leviathan
4. Millennium Force
3. Orion
2/1. Intimidator 305
2/1. Fury 325
Just got off Millennium Force 2 days ago, first giga coaster I've ever been on
Now I got on again 2 days ago in 2021, truly phenomenal!!!
You ranked Leviathan higher than Orion, why is it so low???
He has a thing for hating on Canada's Wonderland
Great vid I’ve ridden fury and millennium force and going to ride Orion soon
🎶 “Oh Oh Oh Orion! Auto parts.”🎵
Just all around an awesome ride!
rank the most intense coasters out there
This I a great list but from what I hear all these coasters sound amazing and sadly I’ve only gotten to ride fury 325 case Carowinds is my home park but I’d love a recommendation on which of this costars I should visit
Shhh you can't say orion is a giga cause some people might get triggered
obama alert u mean “onion”
I say Orion is a giga, google is wrong saying that it is 287 ft
Onion?
@@galacticcello6789 It is 287 ft tall, the drop is 300
I think Orion is over 300 feet Kings Island is keeping it a secret
I think it’s really cool you already have the opportunity to do this. I’ve been on three gigas, all of which are in my top ten Overall.
3. Leviathan
2. Millennium Force
1. Fury
Jiga coaster, Jiga coaster, jiga coaster, Jiga, Jiga, Jiga coaster
GP to Enthusiast fans will understand
Even if you haven't watched his videos you've probably heard the meme lol
Coaster Fusion yes
Yes. Red force is Europe's tallest jiga coaster.
Führer 325
I completely agree with the top. Really good video Taylor!
I think this ranking is actually accurate good job 👍
Fanboy
I have never ridden a giga but I am going to get on Millie in a few weeks. How can I get over my fear/ not chicken out?
can someone help explain why giga coasters are in RCT2 even though the first one hadn't been built yet at it's release
Edit: My fault, looks like when i had searched for the release date of rct2 google somehow gave me the release of the first installment.
It was released in 2002
Hagan Werner and there 2 gig as at that time
@@mrquavers Millenium Force and steel dragon 2000, right?
@@mrquavers Although the track design in rct2 is intamin, so it's based off of millenium force
I’ve only been on I305, and that coaster made me feel exhausted after three rides!
Meanwhile, I’d just love to go on at least one of those in my lifetime 😹
my favorite giga coaster and favorite coaster of all time is Fury 325
RIP Tower of terror 2
Always love your content Taylor. Keep up the great work.
Great pumpkin coaster should be a giga. The airtime is really good. Not a giga though waiting for the review
I was supposed to take a road trip up to kings island and cedar point this year (FEELS BAD) so I've only ridden i305 (home park) and Fury. I love both of them, and I really hope to get on Fury again some time soon
"And it's re-ridable. The same cannot be said for Intimidator 305." Translation: I305 is better 😂
Just rode the fury last saturday at night time! Wonderful ride! Definitely going back soon!
I think Taylor didn’t put red force at number 1 is the ride ops wouldn’t give him his sunglasses
I think I asked about this footage in a different video and it still confuses me, at 2:40, why does it look like Red Forcr is running the track in reverse?
that shot was filmed on the reflection of a building in the park. I was filming the reflection instead of the ride.
Wow, that is a crystal clear reflection. I could not even tell
