I had a pretty similar death spiral a couple weeks ago. But somehow I survived the storm and found a Altar of Decay on the very next glade, and ended up with almost zero hostility by the end.
Did you know the Taforalt cave in Morocco is possibly the oldest known cemetery in the world? It was the resting place of at least 34 individuals, the bulk of whom have been dated to 15,100 to 14,000 years ago.
