The amazing thing about the game is it works for each person's play style. I enjoy walking around myself, but I have done stand and blind hunting as well. Have fun hunting and ambushing your prey.
I think It's way past time, that the game let's us do something to earn some more perks and skill points ! Missions or maybe the range, something I don't care what it is, but I want more points ! The game would be alot more fun
That's most likely the cause, because the skill points are collectively shared between the two trees. (Side note: same issue with the Perks and it's various weapon trees, those skill points are shared among them). So if you have everything maxed in Stalker but want some Ambusher skills, then you'll have to give up some of the Stalker skills. Unfortunately it's not as simple as just removing the points in a category. Instead you have to pay to reset everything and then reapply points as desired. So if you don't have the money at the time, you'll have to save up to do it.

I prefer the ambusher that way animals come to me instead of me walking for miles all over the map

I have all the stocker perks maxed out but I don't have any of the ambusher is it because I used them all on stocker?
