This still sounds complicated. I don't know what's easier; this or Davinci Resolve. I also don't understand all of these terminologies (toggle, ripple, etc.) This is what frustrates me when I try to do any video edits. Sometimes I just want to give up trying because I'm NOT tech savvy at all.
I paid for hitfilm and never work properly for me .always was buggy and could never do a complicated project,not mentioning that the following year they released a new version which you had to pay for upgrade meanwhile DaVinci is free upgrade it might feel complicated but I wish I had found it before hitfilm.

When you want to set where your export finishes, is there a way to snap the white line (don't know what its called) exactly to the last frame? It's hard to do so without zooming way in on the clip until you see each frame when you drag...

Hi I'm having issues with Hitfilm. I have fairly long videos to edit (my rushes are 1h20m long 10,3Mo filmed on my phone) I added a source in the media tab, choosing the right format (30 frames ps) put it in the timeline. ThenIi make my first cut and then Hitfilm freezes and I get the "wait for the program to respond / shut the program" box. every.single.time I just cannot use the program. i checked and my computer specs exceed the recommended specifications.. So frustrating to have up to 3 hours of footage that I cannot use !! Thanks in advance for your help. xxx Cilou Ps : I'm French so English is not my first language, I hope I made sense.

interesting, somehow, Capcut seems to have more bells n whistles to "spice up" the video but lacks the fine controls of HITfilm, will try this out and evaluate the two (since there's also a desktop version for capcut too)

I am unable to export my product video. Each time I try the task fails less than 50% into the attempt. I need a helpline for questions. I successfully made a five videos prior to the failure of the software though I uninstalled and reinstalled HitFilm several times. Very frustrating because I like the interface but if the product is impossible to harvest, its just a waste of time and money!
very good. You missed one thing out.. how long did that 30min video you edited take to render/export? I've been using Adobe Premiere Rush, but now I'm fed up with a 25 minute video taking almost 3hrs to render (which seems normal after looking on the net)

I keep running into the problem of “media not found” in resolve. It’s why I’m looking into other programs.

3hrs that’s nothing m8 it’s taking me almost 10 hours uploading a 20 minute vid
