I certainly understand that. Seems like equipment likes to grow legs when you let people “borrow”. I was pretty impressed with this machine though. Pretty beefy and good air flow.
Just found one of these out for trash and going to try to get it started. Hope its an easy fix like yours
The thing most people miss is the pressure in the gas tank won’t let gas flow properly. Some have a third hose it not it has a small valve in the screw cap on the tank. Make sure they are not blocked can check it out by loosing the gas cap and cranking it or revving it up.
Yes they have to be able to vent. Some have it on the cap and others have the third hose with the valve. Thank you for stopping by and the tips 🙌
Very lucky to have it fixed, I just did all that to bve200 and still doesn't idle 🤷 going to order an after market carburetor and see what happens
Yes sometimes this works, and other times it needs a new carb if it’s bad enough. I hope you can get it changed out and running good.
The other problem is the spark arrestor screen might be clogged up.with carbon I still have to do the repairs on the two hand held blowers I was given
I took a peak at the arrestor screen on it today actually. It was very oily but not clogged. I think the previous owner was running a very rich mixture in there. I got it dialed in at the end of the video and seems to be running great. Hope all is well your way.

Nice save there Alex. Doesnt help when theres no air filter and the fuel filter is disconnected. Lots of gunk in the screen on that carb. Runs really well now Sir! I noticed your sticker board and it looks like you did what i did by buying a magnetic erase board.👍🇺🇸Roger
Thank you Roger. Yea they really did a number one this one running it without filters. Yea I thought it would be fun to have the board for stickers and shout out if I want to write on it as well. I have one of these, i installed new primer bulb, ignition coil, didn't have spark, now I do, pulled piston, cleaned ring and ring groove, reassembled, have gas and see it flowing thur both hoses, all gaskets good, has spark, put starter fluid in spark plug hole, wont fire still? Could it be a compression issue? What should compression be? 100 psi? I Have not checked compression yet.
It just doesnt seem like it wants to pop

Right!! Can’t even work when your hands get too cold. I’m still trying to figure everything out for the shop. Not sure how much heat I’ll have this year but trying to figure it out. Hope you are staying warm :)
OK Look at the 2 diaphragms. Metering and pumping. Replace the purge blub (primer). Clean that screen with carb cleaner. Check to see if fuel disappears. Pumping diaphragms are cheap and easy to buy. I would have purchased a rebuild kit if available.

@@freedommowers420 it is . I went outside today and flim a video on that kohler xt675 engine . I am uploading now and found out what is going on with this engine and what I am going to do from there.
