    Love the help in ordering parts! Great example. Honestly, getting the right parts is the hardest thing.

      I have thought it needed its own video for a while now. You already know it is trickier than you would think.

    I have been known to get a lefty blower like this and a rightly blower like a Craftsman, and two fist the leaves in the yard. It’s a little harder for me because of the 3 finger problem, but it’s fun to use two at once.

    Right hand left hand I had 2 of them that I was going to be getting new carburetors for but they got left behind so I never got them fixed The other one was a craftsman left handed unit glad you made a video on making sure you get the right carb for it otherwise you made a mistake in ordering those carbs

      I have been thinking I should include the part where I order them for a long time. It's the easiest part to do, and the easiest part to do wrong too. 🙂

    I like those Poulan BVM 200 blowers. One thing to check is the two Allen head bolts that hold the jug to the block. If / when they get loose from vibration or age, air will leak in and lean out the mixture. Check and if loose, Loctite is a good idea.

      It sounds good now, but I am going to check anyway and make it part of the procedure, thanks!

      @@GuysPlayingWithToolsthe back bolt (there are only 2) can be a pita to reach, but the difficulty in acceleration and fickle tuning of this machine tells me it is a likely possibility.

      @@haneyoakie14 The carb was off a bit when I got it and it starts like a champ now. I have been using it for my garage blower for a few days. My next project includes a few hours of waiting for results so I am going to move this one back to the bench and have a look at the bolts while I am waiting.

    Good job. I've got a Stihl and an ECho and one is right handed and the other is opposite. Just like Briggs and Kawasaki with carbs and exhaust. Always something different. Happy weekend!

      I have NEVER won one and I started when I was a baby. Sad days for me but I always knew where I stood. Barefooted, walking in the snow and uphill both ways naked. And that was the good times! It got worse from then on. I started working on small engines and that did me in !@@GuysPlayingWithTools

    Yeps definitely have to match it up good the Hipa Carb I got was almost identical but it didn't work out. If you pulled it one more time my arm was going to hurt with yours😂 I had one of those Poulon blowers worked extremely well👍🏾

    • @GuysPlayingWithTools
      @GuysPlayingWithTools  6 месяцев назад +1

      I am not a HIPA fan, The carbs are fine but they come unset. Most will come "sorta" tuned and you can easily get to the right settings but when one comes untuned you need to be REALLY good at tuning carbs to get them running.
      This particular carb wasn't even close, the H and L screws slightly affect each other and this one was good, but 1/2 a turn out on both to start. It may run really well that way but it's hard to start. (all good now 😁)

      @@GuysPlayingWithTools Gotcha I think I may be done with Hipa carbs but they send them free so maybe I'll give them one more try 🥴

    • @GuysPlayingWithTools
      @GuysPlayingWithTools  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@bigsonslawncare I gave up on them pretty quickly, for me "free" wasn't a good deal. They sent me 2 a couple years ago, one had metal shavings in a port and the other had both screws turned all the way in when I got it. that's ok for someone who tunes them often but a homeowner with no experience would never get it right.

      I have a backpack blower that I use to get leaves off the fence line, then I bag them with the rider. Running around with 2 blowers does sound fun though 🙂
