We Had AJ Styles As Face Of SD And The Matches Styles Vs Cena Rivalry, Style Vs Ambrose & Ellsworth, Styles Vs Ziggler Vs Corbin Triple Threat, Not Only That We Had Miz Vs Ziggler Rivalry For Intercontinental Title, Rhino & Heath Slater Tag Team With Slater's Story Being He Needs The Job To Earn For His Kids, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Carmella Were All Rookies But Were Absolutely Giving Their Best In Every Match, The Famous Survivor Series Team Of AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Ambrose, Shane McMahon And The Late Bray Wyatt With James Ellsworth As Mascot. Overall Smackdown 2016 Was Stacked With Great Rivalries And Matches And Does Amazing Work Of Creating Nostalgia Whenever We Think About 2016 And Moreover It Had Me And My Friends After A Decade To Tune In Every Week To See Where The Storylines Went On SD And The Last We Watched A WWE Show Every Week Was During The 2003-2007/08 Era Back When We Were 10-11 Year Old Kids.

SummerSlam 2020-Crown Jewel 2021 : It was a good period for SmackDown, Roman Reigns was carrying the show like almost nobody else ever did, Bayley, Sasha and Bianca did a good job carrying the women's division, Edge and Rollins had a very good trilogy and Brock Lesnar told a good story with Reigns and Heyman. Crown Jewel 2021-SummerSlam 2022 : it was again one of the worst periods of SmackDown, the Roman and Brock feud completely buried the roster, legit nobody mattered, Reigns being absent and stale didn't help either. SummerSlam 2022-WrestleMania 39 : Probably the best period in the history of the show just behind 2002-2003 SmackDown. Sami Zayn involved in the Bloodline storyline is an all time great TV content, Gunther having 5 stars classics with Ricochet, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre, Dom getting more heat than anyone in the wrestling world thanks to the Rey feud, LA Knight getting organically over with the crowd etc., man do I already miss this time. WrestleMania 39-SummerSlam 2024 : Tbh, the show has been heavily carried by the Bloodline stuff, nothing else really stood out and the roster being weak doesn't help either. But since we are in the new era of the show now, with LA Knight's title reign doing well, the Cody/KO/Orton storyline getting spicy and Rock and Reigns being back in the Bloodline storyline, I have faith for SmackDown as of right now.

I truly believe had the pandemic never happened, FOX would’ve been a big asset for WWE. Cuz leading up to WrestleMania 36 before the worldwide pandemic happened, they were plans for WWE and FOX to roll out the red carpet to make it like Super Bowl style. And I think due to the Covid, FOX was kinda unsatisfied with the lower viewerships so WWE just stuck with most of their NBC and USA Network promotions more for big events than with FOX. They even had Rob Gronkowski and other FOX Sports analysts try to help out WWE to make them bigger but pandemic ruined it.

The first thing I think of for Smackdown On Fox will always be the Bloodline.
I truly believe had the pandemic never happened, FOX would’ve been a big asset for WWE. Cuz leading up to WrestleMania 36 before the worldwide pandemic happened, they were plans for WWE and FOX to roll out the red carpet to make it like Super Bowl style. And I think due to the Covid, FOX was kinda unsatisfied with the lower viewerships so WWE just stuck with most of their NBC and USA Network promotions more for big events than with FOX. They even had Rob Gronkowski and other FOX Sports analysts try to help out WWE to make them bigger but pandemic ruined it.
