- The Miss Grand International 2022 pageant has reached its concludion with Luciana Fuster from Peru taking the reigns from Miss Grand International 2022 who was Isabella Menin from Brazil.
We also learned that Miss Grand International 2024 will be hosted by Myanmar.

peru deserved the crown. the competition lasted almost a month and she did an excellent job in everything even in singing and she is not a singer. nawat chose his queen for all the work done during all this time. The questions were mostly for show because the winner had already been selected. Peru was the most complete because she stood out in everything.
I enjoy MGI, that she judges harder than all other contests, they grade you since day #1, so Peru being the winner over a 25 day test, means that she did something right.
The reason why MGI raises the flag and does the national anthem it's a cultural thing to SHOW RESPECT for the host country. They are welcoming you into their country and will be taking care of all the delegates with 5-star accommodations. Yes, MGI will give the respect to host country. The National Director Award is to honor the hard work of the back of the house. I especially love that 5 other Queens have titles and crowns for their hard work. Nobody goes home empty-handed. Everyone wins not just the winner and that's something to celebrate!

So, it is the last standing of the two who has overall the huge followers and the second huge followers.I watched the whole competition from the beginning and Nawat said "Money ...Money ..Money".So he can find money easily with these two Influencers.
Oh my goodness 😢 but miss universe is nothing alike.
From the day she dazzled at every event with her charisma and empathy, she was very sincere in the meeting with Nawat who does not speak English perfectly but was going to defend herself. She always showed freshness every time she was interviewed without fear of being criticized for her English. So it is certain that during the concentration she managed to convince those in the organization that they could work with her; Since, these types of contests evaluate you from day 1 until the final night. And Nawat said that precisely in an interview when they asked him how he chose his queens and he mentioned that the entire staff gave a score to each candidate each day, which was accumulated for the final night.

Miss Grand Colombia's answer sounded great but she didn’t answer the question. If you listen to the question they asked you to CHOOSE between one leader to talk to who and what will you say to make the situation better. Miss Colombia chose to speak to BOTH leaders. In MGI Q&A. There is not right or wrong answer it is multiple choice but when asked to choose you have to choose.
70% score is back of the house. 30 % is collected prelim & final night front of the house performance. Q& A is NOT the determination for the win. I personally felt Miss Colombia closed door interview was the reason why she got 2nd runner up. When asked “If it's not you who do you think is the best to represent as MGI Queen,” she said “ Miss Hong Kong”. Lol .. Her true personality came out. Lol 😂 I was hoping she would hold hands with Peru but understood why she got her placement.

Peru did not outperformed them in the q&a portion. I think she had one of the weakest answers and sounded nervous and insecure. She’s still gorgeous tho..

Europe was definitely shorted this year. Czech Republic should have moved forward as well as Netherlands. I could definitely see either going to Miss Universe and doing very very well! Netherlands reminded me of Oxana Fedorova. She needs to keep competing!!
I do not think Miss Universe Netherlands is a particularly competitive contest, she could easily win that one and move on to MU.

Peru WON CLEANLY BASED ON EFFORT AND WORK, it had an impeccable participation and was always LEADING ALL THE LISTS AND COMPETITIONS WITHIN THE CONCENTRATION, it would be incoherent if the last of the lists were awarded because Colombia entered and left those lists. On the other hand, Peru always came first, leading the lists in all its competitions.

I think every pageant also like that to a certain extent, just that Mr Nawat said it out openly. I think this is acceptable because at the end of the day, the winner will be working with the org. MU also the same, the org starts to observe and pays extra attention on some of the girls during activities. That is why we hear the host announcing that the judges and the org decisions "
Tha answer to that question WOULDNEVER SOLVE the situation, so just accept thge fact that during the whole competiton Miss Perú was ALWAYS among the best ones. That´s why she won the crown. Move on! Complaining about it won´t crown your favorite one. THAT SIMPLE!

Yes. Miss Philippines mother did say that but it was before she was crowned as Miss Grand Philippines. Her mother said, Nikki was using that pageant as a stepping stone to her ultimate pageant which is Miss Universe. That aside, Philippines at MGI, lacked energy and enthusiasm. I was surprised that Nigeria got placed because someone reported from the ground said she had punctuality issue. Not sure if it was true though. Colombia looked too similar to Isabella.

True her mom did say she was just using MGI as a stepping stone. Miss Philippines introvert personality just doesn’t fit with MGI. She gave more Princess vibe. She lost her sparkle in the crowd. I thought her styling was very unlike most other reps from the Philippines. Then again, this is MGI, the Philippines do not have sash factor in this pageant.

I feel like Colombia was having mess ups everywhere. Her evening gown was uncomfortable to watch since she was stepping in her cape, and her swimsuit was wobbly as well and didn’t show her confidence she showed at prelims. I was shocked to see her like that. She has a solid answer, but when you put it out on text, it’s really basic. That was just my opinion.
Hamas has been the de facto government of Gaza since 2007 so USA wasn’t misinformed in that regard. The answers overall were wishy-washy and and filled with factual inaccuracies for the sake of political correctness though, which I can understand, they’re beauty queens, not diplomats.

Miss Philippines should be in top 5. Nat seems doesnt favor her or the country. Top 3 should be USA, Colombia, Philippines. Indo should be in Top 5. Yes, Miss Vietnam shouldn't even be in Top 10. Mr. NAT got attack alot by Vietnamese fan last year bec Miss Vietnam didn't get in. He explained his reason then later had to apologize. Miss VN Phuong competed 5 times on Miss Universe VN and always placed top 5. She had plastic surgeries everytime for each pageant. Got news that if she'll compete in Miss Grand she will win and guarantee placement bec VN is hosting. Unfortunately, private owning comepetion the winner and top 5 are predetermined.

I also thought Colombia should've won instead of Peru, based on their answers in Top 5 QnA and physically, Colombia has tall and great body. Peru is very short and small.

Colombia didn't nail the question. She didn't answer the question by NOT choosing ONE leader to speak to and what she would say to him to make the situation better. She gave her opinion on the situation. Giving an opinion and answering the question are two different things. There are no right or wrong answers to these multiple-choice questions. The reason why there are no headphones and can hear each answer. It's about thinking on your feet. If your answer is the same with a little polish then they know you are biting off someone's answer & yours is not sincere. Q&A is not the overall factor to win because points are collected from day one in any contest.

She was crowned on 19th September. That is more than 1 month from 25th October when Miss Grand International was held.

Great review! But a little bit offensive to the winning country with the ‘Seriously?’ Quote. I would say each contestant did their best and work very hard to be there. I don’t necessarily think that the choices made by the owner and the Organisation should undermine the fact that Peru was one of the contestants who stood out from the very beginning in a 3-week competition.
I strongly disagree that the Q&A section should be the most important factor to crown a beauty contestant. It just doesn’t make any sense.
Yes you have to have be a good ambassador, a good speaker but most of all with a charming and poised personality.
That reminds me of Miss Universe 2020 where Miss Mexico was a stunner from day 1 and even though for some people there were other contestants who performed better in the Q&A round, Mexico did an incredible job throughout the competition and that gave her the crown.

I think the reason they also crowned the five fifth runner ups (difficult to pronounce) is that all these 10 ladies will have to spend time with the winner in Thailand and taking trips until end of this year, if I'm not wrong.
You have a good point on the Q and A. I'm not being shady, but do the judges even know the topic regarding the governing body of Palestine? I mean they misspelled Hamas as "Harmas" on the screen. If you are going to have your Q & A displayed on screen, at least proof-read the question. It is embassaing since MGI's whole brand is "Stop War and Violent" and they got the name wrong. So, there is that.

I love USA as well and was actually rooting for her to represent Puerto Rico at MGI or supranational. And I agree her speaking skills are lacking. And always has been. When she competed at MUPR she completely fumbled the Q&A but she is an extraordinary stage performer. But we all know at pageants that’s not enough. Peru probably won because she has 4M+ instagram followers. I always feel bad for Colombia because they’re always the bridesmaids but never the brides at pageants 😂 they seem like a country that would have tons of international crowns but they really don’t. Maybe only 3 or 4. They have many more runners up titles but not many actual crowning wins. Which is a shame because their delegates are stunning

Miss Peru stood out from the first day. She was always the best throughout the competition. Nawat said she wanted the four B's and she has it all. Beauty, Body, Brain and Business!!! Well deserved Miss Peru!!!

Love your focus on the nuance of the final response. You echo my sentiments about the winner. 'nough said.The focus on just Hamas and Israel mid pageant felt like overkill considering all the other wars around the world.

It was very good.My biggest shock is that they left another Philippines representative standing.PR and Dominican Republic were way up there.And USA just performed.Vietnam did a wonderful job .But it was a great winner in Peru.

I believe, MGI Pageant is a minor level category of beauty contest, due to the owner's already picked and liked whose to be the winner of the mother of all carnival shows. And Mr. Nawat is deserved to be called as the Father of all carnival shows.

We should not allow women to be subjected to ridicule. This pageant puts women in a VERY DEGRADING AND VERY DEMEANING SITUATION. This pageant is the reason why some people have lost respect for pageant girls and pageants in general. When all the other pageants are striving to uplift and elevate the role of women in our society, this terrible pageant is doing the exact opposite. They use women as mere entertainment in a very humiliating way.

Usted siguió todo el concurso? A lo largo del concurso La señorita Perú fue muy sobresaliente y destacó en cada una de las presentaciones, por una respuesta no la van a sepultar. La señorita Colombia fue una excelente participante también pero quizás lo que hizo no alcanzó para poder ganar. Así como una respuesta no te da la victoria , tampoco una respuesta no es razón de derrota. Nosotros vemos el concurso superficialmente, los que conviven con ellas siempre están evaluando cada paso de las participantes.

Actually Nawat felt uncomfortable with Miss Colombia when she said during the lunch, if she can call him Dad 🤮🤮🤮. She might pronounce good English but was very inappropriate, out of context for an Asian culture. Plus I think she has already tried too many times to win plus she’s a bit old, I mean, I think it’s best someone new an fresh that really is into the business like Peru. This pageant is so overrated. Aside from the narcissistic, pathetic and silly owner, the organization relishes on their "grand" production.. they even claim that they are better than the miss universe pageant. I think every year, their show is indeed colorful and specracular, but overall, the pacing is terrible.. the show is dragging, music is repetitive, some segments are boring and unnecessary, and the hosting is mediocre.. i thought it once and i still think that they can never.. ever surpass the supremacy of the miss universe pageant.. i feel so bad for Miss Peru.. such a beautiful smart and charismatic woman she deserves a better platform and its an unfortunate fate she had to be associated with this clown show.

The pageant was 4 freaking hours. Nobody has that time to watch a pageant that goes on for that long especially a pageant as cringe as Grand International.
