Im also a fan of bold lips. Even if Im working from home - they make me feel a certain way that brings me joy. As a fair complected person Ive been a fan of brown mascara for a while and Im so happy this has become popular because now there are more options out there!

I've switched to brown eyeliner and mascara recently too and I love the softer look it gives. It's become a part of my everyday routine.

I totally know what you mean about the getting ready thing. I’m a stay at home mom and it almost feels silly sometimes to get ready when I’m not even going to leave the house, but when I do I feel so much better about myself! For so long I wasn’t doing my hair or makeup and just living in loungewear, but it has been my goal this year to take time for myself and feel more put together.
I totally agree on the brown eyeliner and mascara! I have light skin and blue/gray eyes, dark blonde hair. It definitely flatters my coloring more than harsh black, although black has a time and place but not in my everyday situation

jamie i am SO with you on the eyebrows. i also would just lightly groom them myself, but then i got them professionally done for my engagement photos last summer... i literally felt like the hottest woman alive hahah. i still only do it for special occasions/trips, but now it's just good to know that there *are* people you can trust with brows!

I've always felt like you lean more warm than autumn. Autumns are usually more muted, so I always thought you were a clear or a warm spring. Like for example you look great in a bright peach lip or cheek, which would overpower an autumn.

I’m with you on brown mascara and toners. My fave brown mascara is Tower 28 and Elf has a good tubing brown mascara too. Fave toner is Rhode Milky Toner. My outs are not buying something that’s on sale….just because it’s on sale. Also sticking to what I like….not trying the newest thing a lot. Low rise jeans 4ever😊 Love the sweater you made🤩

As a dry skin gal too, I have been LOVING the Neogen real ferment micro essence (I use it as a toner). It’s amazing and around $20. I got this rec from James Welsh and he never steers me wrong!

Toner has always been in my routine as it has removed the makeup that has been missed 😕
One huge in for me is making my own food that id normally buy already done which as pesto, pizza dough, all types of breads, tomato sauce, garlic butter, butter, etc and also growing my own herbs. One huge out for me on the same topic is heavily processed/frozen foods that are much better fresh.

Love this and all your changes over the years to a more comfortable and confident woman! I would love for you to do some more styling videos with clothes, I work with kids and often judt wear scrubs or workout-type clothes since I'm crawling on the floor and sweating, but I want to start looking put together and still comfortable!

Being of Lebanese origin, I had dark, thick curly hair, and had hairy arms and super thick bushy eyebrows, all the kids made fun of me in the 90s-early 2000s, because i just looked so different! Cleansers that change the pH of your skin are not really industry practice anymore, instead they're usually formulated within a suitable range (~4.5-5.5, sometimes 6). Toners always contain humectants to increase your skin's immediate hydration levels and offset potential irritation from astringents (if present). Agreed that toners are a nice step to include if your skin tends to feel dry after cleansing!
Yes you can use your background colors on yourself but add more fun colors too especially pink and green and golden metallics 🎉 and creamy white suits good on you too 😊

I am so tall and long waisted, low and mid rise jeans are less comfortable and look out of proportion on me. I think we need a fashion era with multiple rise options, so we all can find our best fitting jeans and not have the rise be dictated by trends.

You know I used to get really bad hormonal breakouts, but it reduced drastically when I started using a toner. I had a FabFitFun box which sent me one, and I honestly never looked back. I use different toners now, but they all work relatively the same for me. It truly has helped with my acne so much, that I use toner everyday without fail for the past 3ish years.

I am an autumn and I think your colouring is quite similar to mine. I also have brown hair I dye a copper red shade and prefer brown mascara, and my hair has a similar level of curl to yours.

One out for me is primers and buying multiple foundations. I feel like I've gotten my skincare routine and SPF pretty solid that I don't need primers anymore. And I found over the last year that I've bought a few use them once or twice and never again. And I found a foundation that works great with my skincare, that I don't even need the primer. I use to constantly buy the newest foundation, the newest primer and now I'm just like, I found the skincare, I found the perfect foundation and shade match. Why keep trying? It's honestly been great. Also great for my wallet 😅
I think just in general, the last year or more I've been waiting until I use up a product to purchase new or just repurchase. It's been so much better

I’ve never used black eyeliner. The darkest eyeliner pencil I’ve used is the Lise Watier Brun Noir, a brown-black pencil. It’s more like a dark brown pencil. There’s not another colour like it that I’ve found.
Once, I tried a burgundy mascara and it was more like brown vs burgundy and I really liked it.

Knowing one's color season is a true game changer. It's saved me time, money and closet space from items that looked great and fit but were actually never worn. Would def recommend investing the money in having a professional tell you your season... they even do it online
This video is great because you were like yeah I think brown mascara looks so good on me and my first thought was YEAH JAMIE BECAUSE YOU ARE AN AUTUMN and I get farther through the video and it was like you read my mind lol. I learned I am a soft summer, and it has been kind of a game changer? I have no idea why I thought(assumed?) I was warmer, but turns out I am not and that is why very warm hair colors, etc make me look grey and dead. I am growing my natural hair color out now, and am pleased to discover I am a cool, ashy mushroom blonde. Who knew? (not me, who has been coloring her hair since she was 15)

Re: confidence. I'm 50 now and I have noticed my confidence is so much better now. I think part of it is just not giving a flying f**k what anyone thinks!! 😂 I have curly hair too and I constantly go between natural and styled. ❤
Oh girl I felt that pedicure point. I quite literally let the nail polish COMPLETELY grow out. It once took 3 months 🤠 now I just do my own pedicures and take my time

Any tips on hair serums for oily scalps. My scalp can get oily but also it gets dry in certain areas. I'll look into but any tips would be appreciated.

Wow imagine the level of unconscious work marketing does to our brains.. Today is the mid low rise jeans, yesterday was the high rise, and tomorrow will be again the high waist etc.. This goes on from decades ago. It s just marketing and it's sad.
