15 years ago I was 40! 😂 My favorite OG product that I started using in 1996 was Lancôme Blush Subtil in Aplum. Still love that one! ♥️
It’s comforting to hear about a 16 year old from over a decade ago choosing to buy a timeless piece such as the Dior bag. I find it comforting because we demonize the younger generation of now for wanting/spending exorbitant amounts on designer goods and even makeup. Yet teens have been making expensive purchases always. And many like Jamie do so out of love and appreciation for the luxury items knowing they will cherish it or even trade up in bags as they get older. There will always be teens who want just for the sake of wanting or to have the latest without a true appreciation for the item. But there’s still so many more who know at a young age that an item is special not just because it’s expensive. This was a lovely reminder!

@@JamiePaige I think part of it is that most people [esp women] pitch their voice up when they're trying to make an impression or seem approachable. Most YTers I've seen do retrospectives on their older content comment on their early "influencer voice" - it's often just a higher pitch, tightly articulated, & more subdued version of their natural accent. Many people who started YT earlier on also talked much quieter, whereas I think the standard now is to be LOUD AF.

I have an almost identical Dior bag from years ago and still use it all the time too! So cool to see someone with the same bag situation!
One thing I know for a fact that I’ve been using for decades (yikes!) is the L’Oréal Original Voluminous Mascara… I’ve tried so many other over the years BUT definitely always keep a Voluminous on hand because it is a tried and true mascara! I’m super picky with mascara and it is one I will forever love!

I bought the same style of Dior bag when I was 16 too! I bought it while I was on my first trip to Europe from the Dior store in Monaco. It was a splurge for sure and I saved so much for it but it’s still kicking 15 years later! I use it often and the only sign of wear is some scratches on the buckle. I bought it in the navy and I still get a little thrill when I use it 🥹
I still have the Chloe perfume travel size and MAC Patisserie. I also have my first MAC blush that I bought about 20 years ago when I had my first real job. The shade was Plum Foolery. I don't want to get rid of it because I have never found a shade that looks quite like it.

Great video! Congrats again on 11 years! Goodness so many ive used for 10+ years. First to come to mind is Lancome Bi Facil eye makeup remover, Urban Decay eyeliner, ABH brow powder...Mostly a niche fragrance gal these days but I still have and love Chloe perfume as well. She will always be a staple!

I've been using certain Aesop products since 1999. So 25 years. One of my most favorite is their geranium body scrub. I am never without it. I always have a bottle in my shower
Been using the Cover Girl Lash Blast volume mascara (purple tube) since 2013! It’s still the absolute best mascara I’ve EVER tried, 11 years strong.

I was influenced to buy the oil shower wash. I didn’t get the almond since I love shea. AMAZING!!!!
I started using Elizabeth Arden cream to powder flawless finish when I was fifteen. Don’t use it as much now that I’m 59 but I will never toss it

So many MAC products would be on my list as well as the ABH brow powder. Probably some perfumes as well. A lot has changed for me purely because my skin is 10 years older and I have to do things differently now. 😉

Ive been using MAC's cork eyeshadow for my brows for over 20 years
The lotion is very moisturizer which is good for my very dry skin. I even drink alot of water.
ABH brow powder, Coco Mademoiselle perfume, MAC eye shadow in Naked Lunch, Love Spell by Victoria’s Secret, and this TIGI Perfect eyeliner pencil in Peacock. All are probably disgustingly old, but cannot be replaced. 😂❤

VS eau so sexy perfume! It’s been discontinued but I find that Lanvin’s Modern Princess smells really similar. Sometimes I think I should try to find something more grown up but I always come back.
I still have my Mac brushes that I purchased in 1995. They are still loved and used. Have lasted and still my go to brushes!

In terms of perfume I keep going back to Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. Skincare Loreal and Neutrogena. Lipstick Clinique creamy nude I think it is 04? Not sure. Also Clinique chubby Sticks for the lips.
