I used to want a nose job when I was younger, but by my early to mid twenties I had grown to actually like my nose - not in every picture or all the time but overall I like it. I think it’s so beneficial to wait to make such huge decisions until the mid twenties like you did because the brain is mostly developed at that point and you can tease apart your feelings and thoughts better. I’m happy to hear that you’re content with your decision. I wonder if anyone would even notice those aspects of your nose if you didn’t go through the process on RUclips. Thanks for sharing your experiences! ❤

I had my nose job one year after yours and I can wholeheartedly say that watching your positive experience convinced me to go for it and make that decision for myself. And it was the best one I’ve made to this day and I’m so happy with my experience and results! Thank you again for creating an open and comforting space for this subject

I can sympathize so much it hurts. My 11 year old has been bullied for her nose relentlessly for a few months and it’s heartbreaking to see. She is so self conscious about it and I’ve seen her cry about it. It breaks my heart but I’ve experienced the same as a kid and it did effect me immensely. Funny thing is that as I grew my face widened and my nose looks normal size now. I hope she can learn to love herself and those hurtful words do not stay with her❤ Your nose was beautiful before and beautiful after, I love that it makes you happy and that’s all that matters. Thank you for being so transparent, it’s so refreshing!

I honestly gasped when I saw you touch your jaw! That is such a painful area for me too. You may have just influenced me to get Botox! I can’t believe it’s already been 3 years since your nose job. You had a beautiful nose before and a beautiful nose now. I’m sure if you decide to go through with the second surgery it will still be beautiful!😊

I really didn't think the brow treatment was that bad until you kept zooming in with the images and then I was like "yeahhhh okay probably not ideal" lol. I think we are always so much more critical of our own appearance than other people are of us. Especially considering the fact that you spend hours and hours more than the average person staring at your own face while editing videos

I have naturally straight lashes and I get lash lifts every 2 months because a eyelash curler will NOT keep my lashes curled. It’s a game changer for me and I don’t think I’ll ever stop. Once you find a good tech, it’s great!

I have hooded eyes that have gotten even more hooded as I’ve gotten older (I’m 43) and lash lifts have been a GAME CHANGER! I don’t really do eye makeup so the lift helps to open and brighten my eyes. I’ve noticed I’ve developed “jowls” this last year (ugh) so I’ve considered getting a little bit of filler but I’m so nervous!

I also healed with a bump on the left side of my nose post rhinoplasty and am considering having it removed like you…I am also struggling with going through with it and potentially not liking the outcome when it’s fine the way it is now. Would love follow up on what you decide to do and a vlog if you feel comfortable sharing if you decide to have it removed! Your original rhinoplasty vlog helped me make my decision to have mine done so I also want to say thank you for sharing your experience with that! You’re just one of my fav RUclipsrs and you’ve positively influenced me in so many ways, so thank you 💗

As a lash tech, the brow lift should have def. came with a sculpting/shaping of the hairs either before or after. I'm sorry that you didn't love it as much!! With the lash lift as well, the whole process should take no less than 45 min, that's the fastest I've ever done/gotten done on me. Your lashes should've been a lot more curled I think! It still looks amazing with mascara but definitely try again! This is my favourite service to provide and get done on myself :) you still look beautiful either way and the lash artist didn't do a bad job whatsoever but that's just what I saw ❤️❤️

I like your little nose bump - it makes your nose yours and imperfectly perfect (hard to describe!) and not "surgery smooth perfect". My first lash lift was awesome but I feel like the second one made my lashes weaker and they are just now getting back to being stronger (3 years later). Looking forward to hearing more about your botox journey and TMJ because I have that problem too and my implant surgeon recommended botox also but I am a bit chicken when it comes to injectables, lol!!

Masseter Botox was a game changer for me! I used to wake up with tension headaches, and those are completely gone.
I know everyone says this, but I truly could not feel the Botox injections at all. Not even a "little pinch" they warn you about- it felt like pressure and being lightly poked by a needle. Like if someone poked me like that when I was dozing to sleep, I wouldn't notice.
Would highly recommend! I'm super happy with my results.

Funnily enough I ran into him once in my twenties when he was working in the grocery store I was in, and when he said hi and reminded me of who he was, first thing that popped out of my mouth was 'oh yeah, you told me my hair looked like crap in middle school' 😂 Given I'm pretty sure he was trying to flirt, I don't think that was the remembrance he was hoping for!

Omg girl I had the same issue with my nostrils after my surgery and even on the same side as you!! Your video makes me feel less alone, it was very hard mentally. My nostrils are much better now but it took so long to look normal and that was the worst part of surgery. I had no physical pain either but my mental health got soooo bad after surgery due to the irregularities in my nose and not thinking it would get better.

i think your leopard tattoo has a lot of potential of to get a touch up to have the art style be more cohesive with your half sleeve! since there’s a lot more negative space with that tat it might feel a bit separate from your other ones since the wolf and snake mesh together so well. i have the same issue where i have a tattoo that i love as a stand-alone but since it doesn’t “fit” as well with my other tattoos it feels a little off and i don’t love it as much. just a suggestion :)!

Be cautious with keratin treatments on your lashes. Keratin is good and is the protein that makes up your hair and skin, however, too much can cause it to be brittle and break off. Also, with brow lamination, the perming solution can be removed sooner if necessary and might resolve the crunchy feeling that you’re experiencing. I’ve had clients that the perm solution took in their hair in as little as 3 minutes…that’s why it’s so important that you check the curl pattern frequently so you don’t over process the hair…same with chemical straighteners.

Lash lifts & brow laminations are my favorite!! I would suggest using a lash serum, then getting a lash lift. Lower maintenance & more natural looking than extensions. I think brow laminations are best for ppl with stubborn brow hairs or ppl that want the illusion of thicker brows. I get the most compliments from strangers when I do these treatments, but it doesn’t work for everyone. I loved this video!

Because your brow hairs had already been through an intense chemical process, they took the tint much darker than normal. I've had my brows tinted the same exact shade with and without a lamination and they are much darker after the lamination every time. Also, yes, the process can be drying on your brows, I recommend using your moisturizer & facial oil through your brows if you get them laminated.

    Hi Jamie,
Great vidwo///I appreciate your openness. Do you get trigeminal neuralgia as well as the TMJ? Your descroption of how painful it is to touch your face dounds like it. I have TMJ and Neuralgia, I also have cranial cervical instability and cervical dystonia and migrain...fun! NOt...hmmm. I have botox from the neurologist every 13 weeks...I have 400+ units all up in all the diifferent areas including my jaw...it is literally a life saver.
I dont think you mentioned fillers? Is this something you would consider? I first got fillers in my tear ducts from the opthamoligist as I have extremely dry eyes due to Ankylosing Spondylitis effecting them. The doctor used filler to block my ducts and keep moistire in my eyes...it works. Since then I decided that I wanted more balance in my lips as my bottom lip was fuller that the top lip...I got 1/2 a ml or filler and it worked berutifully for me.

Sooo… of course the first thing I did is I took a picture of my nose holes and I think maybe they’re cousins. Lol. Personally I think the side that has the scar tissue looks more natural. The little indentation looks like a natural nose curve (for lack of a better word) as opposed to being completely straight. Just my observation. I have a tattoo of a dolphin on my chest area for my 40th birthday, I’m 61 now and it still looks great! However you mentioned spf. About 3 years ago I had skin cancer in the eye of my dolphin and I thought well this isn’t going to go well. It was about the size of the tip of an ink pen. My dermatologist was amazing, you can’t even see that anything was ever done. I’m that blonde, pale, pink skin tone that burns in 15 minutes. But I agree use your spf!!! I’ve had several surgeries to remove it over the years, 2 scars on my face that are very noticeable.

Hi Jamie! This comment is coming from a person without tattoos, but I'm always fascinated by them. I like your tattoos, especially the wolf and snake. I just think the leopard needs more detail. Don't leopards have leopard spots? What if you add leopard print on your leopard? Loved this video, by the way.

I have actually gotten botox for my migraines for years now. I get it in my forehead but also in my masseter because of the headaches themselves but i also gring my teeth and clench my jaw when im in pain. That masseter botox helps so much. Everyone if different in how they process botox but im guessing around three months you'll randomly start to notice the clenching come back. I think it is important to keep up with a regular botox schedule especially if it is being done for pain management. Let us know how it is feeling in a few months!

My tmj Botox took like 4-6 months for me to notice a difference. I think it was because my jaw was so tight before that it took time for the pain to subside even though the muscle was technically relaxed. Now that I’m a year out I notice my jaw going a little back to before. Personally never noticed a difference in the slimness of my face but like you, that wasn’t my goal so it wasn’t a big deal to me.

I've always done keratin lash lifts, and I always ask for something more dramatic vs natural so it's more obvious without mascara

Hi Jamie, have you ever considered or was it ever discussed with your surgeon that the reason why your nose has tilted towards the left slightly is possibly due to a deviated septum (and not being scar tissue)? You also mentioned that it was, in fact, a septo-rhinoplasty. I've seen this happening before with septo-rhinoplasties as the septum has a very strong memory and will pull the nose back to its original placement eventually prior to the nose job. I thought I could see your nose pulling slightly to the left prior surgery. What do you think? I could be totally wrong here.. :) xo

Most of the time when you get a lash lift. They get painted black to, so maybe that’s why isn’t that big of an difference. I had it once and it makes my lashes kind of looking tacky. I’m someone that wears mascara all the time. So that what it looked like to someone. But still I want to try it again the right why by an professional. I’m going to look into Invisalign. Ps I liked that you talked openly about this. I also think you’re the best and honest person

OMG I am so glad I never said anything about your nose looking crooked! I followed your nose job journey and I was so nervous for you when months & months later your nose looked lopsided. You're so right that the camera made it so much more noticeable! I did not realize nose jobs took so long to heal! My goodness! I'm happy for you that you're content with how your nose is now. I remember you saying that you wanted your surgeon to preserve the "character" of your original nose & I think they successfully did that!

Your nose improvement is great. Yes, there's some asymmetry; most plastic surgeries have some asymmetrical features. Just like real bodies. I understand also wanting to get a second one done. It looks great, though. People really have unrealistic expectations from surgeons (not you, but i do remember some kinda rude and flippant comments back when you first got it done). I can't believe it's been the years since your nose job. It's been 3.5 since my tummy tuck, lipo 360, and breast reduction. :)

I get cortisone every three months in my knees. If the doctor orders a cortisone shot, s/he can order it with lidocaine (a numbing agent) in it. My shots never burn.

I really like botox in my forehead except the more I’ve had it done, the more botox i’ve needed to get the same effect. And mine only lasts for a month now.
