- Running 10k every day for a week as a beginner runner was not on my 2023 bucket list, but I'm glad I gave it a try! Hope you enjoy my documentation of the week:)

Running is such a difficult, but freeing and satisfying activity. Running gave me a lot of insight on my health, and once I got into it, it helped so much with a lot of my regular physical activities like basketball and lifting. I appreciate your honesty and transparency about how difficult mustering motivation and energy is but the satisfaction and fulfillment of pushing through makes it worth it.

i decided to give running a try three months ago and ended up "quitting" after the second week... so when i saw that you'd posted a video about running i immediately came here to watch it.
the thing i loved about this video the most is that i was left with the impression that you were not too hard on yourself when you didn't manage to do it on your first try or did not keep the pace throughout the run that you'd initially imagined. it made me realise that it was probably my perfectionism that made me stop running.
even though it was not one of those videos with a deep and meaningful topic, it was still so entertaining!
ps: there were parts where i laughed really hard bc i found your honesty rather hilarious (like @ 17:25 😂)

I used to try and run every saturday and sunday when I was on placement and it was so good but I just lost it as soon as my general routine fell apart when I finished placement :( I joined the local club afterwards which did really help but I feel like it also made me put overwhelming pressure on myself and decreased my motive to go out for a chill run for fun. so u cant win haha, but this made me feel better!

I love this so much, Michelle you really make me feel less stupid for attempting things a bit too ambitious and then (kinda) screwing things up the first few tries. Cuz for some reason that really used to happen to me to so It's nice to see you can get better despite starting out funky (or coming out of a injury)
I do have to ask though, where did you get your white sweater from? (it's soo cute) the one you wear on day 2.

Don’t stress about walking during your runs! This is actually a great way to improve at running. It helps build your endurance and your speed! Many couch to 5k running plans have you start off alternating between running and walking. Plus, a common type of running workout involves alternating between running fast and slow (ex. farklets or other interval training).
