My channel is focused on creating content about my favorite TV show Supernatural, from reactions to analysis videos, reviews, ending explained videos, top 10 lists, theories and everything in between. They lose family and find new people they call family. They have gone to heaven for each other and will do it all over again. Cause that's what FAMILY does and "Family don't end with blood". Basically means he died for nothing.
Could have at least given him an explosive death like Uriel from Season 4.
His re-appearance had already devalued the weight of his original death 8 seasons ago, his new death only finished the work. Useless reprise, he was a shadow of himself (sure, that arc was intentional, but the end just made it look pathetic, not heartbreaking) and it looked as if they needed to kill him off again as the shadow he was.
I guess Gabriel has faked his death so many times, they felt obliged to stay to make sure it was for real!

I still don’t like how they finally brought Gabriel back and had him killed soon, after his return. Poor Gabriel, he deserved better. 😭 He was the only archangel that was on humanity’s side. Apocalypse World Michael was brutal!

there is a theory that chuck is not actually god and i think gabrial is god. the "youngest archangel" yet so strong, to create alternate realities. not just illusions but actual realities.

In another Wayward Winchester video, I also commented that the Winchesters might be in an alternate dimension/reality or timeline. I’m not disagreeing with the theory that Gabriel might be impersonating Chuck, in an alternate reality. However, in another episode, Amara was with Chuck. She seems to believe and behave as if she is with the REAL Chuck/God. So, if Gabriel is impersonating Chuck, how could an archangel become powerful enough to fool God’s sister? Wouldn’t she be able to see through Gabriel ‘s trick? Amara has powers that are on par with Chuck, and she was powerful enough to kidnap, torture, and imprison Lucifer. Finally, did Gabriel conjure up a gun that was powerful enough to injure him and drain his power? Gabriel has always been one for self-preservation. I’m sorry for continuously rambling. I just have soooooo many questions 😅
@@spnchick4438 so there is a video from another yt who built up that theory about chuck not being real god. and it might just be one of the abilities of chuck to change memories for instance. that point is a bit vague but there would still be so much speaking for chuck not being the real god. but what i meant was not, that gabriel is chuck. chuck is chuck. but if chuck is not god, but instead a third sibling next to god and amara (keep in mind chuck never liked it to be called god for example), then gabriel could actually be god but hiding behind being an archangel.
Lucifer, Gabriel and Michael really seemed siblings. Raphael seems to be the odd one out.
To be fair, Raphael is basically the normal angel with archangel powers. He is that bland.
Raphael is the middle child. You can say he has Middle Child Syndrome.
The middle child is even-tempered but has trouble fitting in due to being sandwiched between the younger and older siblings.

I felt like, if Sam didn't leave Lucy, he would have become good. Or at least a real anti hero, because he was trying to change. Really, one of the most understood, and sadiest characters in the show. Gabriel, my favorite. Wish they didn't kill him off again so soon.
I think Lucifer was earnest in his desire to change, but I agree with Gabriel that there was no hope for his efforts. Luci still refused to face up to his own responsibility in the fiasco that got him locked in the Cage, and from his interactions with Jack, it was clear Luci would've been better at being the irresponsible, crashes-on-the-couch-once-every-three-years uncle figure that's rarely seen, x) rather than actually being a father to Jack

Let's not forget that the only other times we've seen Lucifer this emotional was when he killed Gabriel back in season 5 and earlier in this episode when they were arguing and Gabriel told him all his truths. For seasons we've seen him kill angels, his brothers and sisters without blinking but it's Gabriel who brings out this side of him. Don't get me wrong, the guy is and forever will be a villain, he's proved multiple times that he's actually incapable of change (as far as I know, I'm on the last episode of season 13) but he does love Gabriel. Even after everything, he loves his brother, despite the disagreements and how badly Gabriel thought of him until he died (which I'm still hoping isn't permanent, it's happened before but he's not as powerful as he used to be), he will always be his baby brother.
I can't express how much I love Gabriel's arc throughout the whole show. He easily became my favourite Archangel. Sure I really disliked him on the beginning for messing with the Winchesters. But bro he grew up so much. He was able to recognised the flaws on his family, create his own path, damn he even loved humanity. While his brothers continue to fucked up and keep blaming their dad for their own mistakes. Gabe owned his decisions and decided "hell nah, I'm not keeping up with this. Fix your own issues and don't play with you humanity just because Dad fucked us up" If there's one Archangel who deserves to live it was him. It was really heartbreaking to see him go.

@@uriekmorales4680 No angels, demons, and archangels when they get killed by a angel or demon or archangel blade they just have lights coming out of their eyes. Jack was the only one killed and had his eyes burnt out because God killed him using his power.

We might see him one last time in a final "happy ending" episode... maybe... who knows

I really do love that from all his interactions with his brothers (the ones from the main universe or whatever) that Lucifer really does seem to love them. You can see how much it hurts him when he believes that he killed Gabriel. It's kinda touching considering he's a villain.

Sam didn't "mess" up, that's what happens when you have centuries worth of unaddressed psychological trauma from being LOCKED up in a cage with Lucifer and having been tortured physically, mentally, psychologically and who knows in what else ways at his hands, and then are forced to play "nice" with your abuser. He can't even /look/ at Lucifer without flinching, and you expect him to not take the chance to finally be free of him?

you know, these arch angel fights in supernatural were disappointing to me. like all they did was a couple of HADOUKENS and they were very lame. I was expecting more of fire and winds earthquakes are they punch each other!

I actually felt bad when I saw Lucifer’s face when Sam betrayed him to keep Jack safe.
That was messed up wat sam did to him even tho Lucifer saved his life and his mom many times when he didn't have to . But the real person who was pulling the strings was god
I like to think that he could have changed if they gave him the chance. Maybe not the best of guy but enough to stop trying to end the world or rule it.
Does anyone else remember when the battle between Michael and Lucifer was going to “deep-fry half the planet?” If this slap-and-tickle-fest had happened out in my yard, I doubt any of the neighbors would have even called the police.

Looks like an ordinary angel blade to me. They never mentioned archangel blades back in seasons 4 and 5, if I am remembering correctly.

Man this episode was sad because it showed Lucifer was actually becoming good (or at least a little less evil), he looked like he took Gabriel's words about him being poison to heart and actually wanted to be better with Jack; he even confided to Aniel that he wanted to be a better father to Jack than God was to him. But then Sam betrayed him and left him to die in Apocalypse world, causing him to become full fledged evil again... And now the Winchesters realized he was right about everything (God) all along
I think S13 is underrated - I love Jack's journey and true family, it introduces a whole friggin' alternate universe (and an apocalyptic one at that!), and it's the first time since S5 that Luci genuinely made me feel for him

Yes. Which is why Seasons 1-5 are Supernatural, and everything else is fanfiction. And Raphael took out the electrical grid of the East Coast with a simple flex of his wings.

Lucifer may be sad that gabriel was dead but his big moment then was that he was proving gabriel right. He was only caring about himself
even though i love the show ive never liked that interpretation of michael. different world, sure. but michael was always the most loyal one to his father, god. maybe not thinking too well about humans but respecting them as it was his mission given by god to protect the "storyline" and humanity.
there in season 13, michael is even worse than lucifer. a conquerer. brutal. with no actual goals aside from "i want everything". and that doesnt fit of how supernatural has been describing michael. also the michael as SN presented him before, would never kill one of his archangel brothers with a smile on his face. i mean come on. even lucifer felt bad, when he thought he had killed gabriel back then.
OG Michael definitely never would've grinned while killing his brothers, but I think you're giving him too much credit when saying he respected his dad's alleged favouritism of humans. Though he apparently believed the Apocalypse was God's will, his personal motivations for engineering it were essentially just as childish and petulant as Lucifer's: he was desperate for his father's love the same way as Luci, though Michael's way of gaining Chuck' attention was the opposite of Luci's (obessively trying to gain Chuck's approval by following his alleged will, instead of destroying the toys Chuck preferred over him to get Chuck's attention).
I've actually got a couple theories for why Alternate Michael is so different (just wrote them in a new comment, which you can read by changing the comments section's arrangement to 'Newest first')

My only disappointment with the series finales is that Gabriel wasn't part of it; it would have been nice to see him help the boys out one last time in their fight against Chuck, it also would have added more depth into the story with the fact that he had to help them take down his own father the end result of that being him and Cass helping Jack reform heaven!
I really liked that the writers remember that Lucifer and Gabriel cared about each other in season 13 just like season 5. Not like what they did with Lucifer and Michael when they were supose to be like Sam and Dean.

Michael killing Gabriel was so preventable, they had 2 archangels and Jack, easily could have won.
The archangels seemed to have real love for one another. Reminds you of the stories you hear and or read in history, about the American Civil war where brothers fought against one another, on opposite sides. Also I feel like Lucifer showed 2 real instances of redemption. The first being in season 11 when him and god made up, and fought together against Amara. Then again in season 13. It seemed he had genuine love for Jack, however he'd done to much wrong so Sam had to leave him behind, and tbh he proved he wasn't willing to give up his selfish ways. Love supernatural. But what's with season 15? Is it really over? Seems unfinished with Jac getting his soul back.
He really has style 😎 As Badass as Dichael was Keyes was right there with him. A fully charged Lu barely makes him stumble and 2 energy blasts and he puts his brother down again 💪 I have long suspected AU Michael killed his Gabriel judging by his reaction to our Gab. I just Wish they didn't leave Gabriel's body there. 'Not that I want to see Angels all the time because I don't! But Gabriel needs some screen time this season. It always felt like Gabriel still didn't really die, here. Especially when you see Michael look up to the sky when he stabbed him, and smile. Almost like he's amused, and thinking "you sly bastard. You got away, again". Not to mention, his death didn't look like that of the other angels (or archangels), who died. Other than the light, of course (which happened when he tricked Lucifer into thinking HE'D killed him). One big difference, being the lack of burnt wing markings on the ground beneath him.
You know what really annoyed me he was trying to buy some time for the boys to escape and they stayed to watch Gabriel die very touching I'm sure bag surely put a risk the whole sacrificing his life thing

Gabriel's First Death as we saw was just an illusion and would have only really worked on Loki anyway.
Gabriel's Second Death I think was only temporary because it was done with a regular Angel Blade.
However, Gabriel's Third Death I believe truly is final since it was done with an Archangel Blade.
I only just realised Gabriel is the only one out of the four of them who properly flinched,

It irks me so much that they just stood there watching the fight instead of going thru the portal to get back home. If they would’ve just went through as fast as they could, maybe Gabriel wouldn’t have had to die.

Say what you will about Lucifer, but only one of the two oldest Archangels took issue to killing Gabriel. In season 5 Lucifer said 'brother, don't make me do this' and only did it out of self-defence... and here he didn't even kill Gabriel, but he still mourned his little brother.

There was definitely a drop in writing quality in my opinion as the series went on. Personally I feel as though they could’ve kept the Archangels as intimidating without them being Thanos levels of OP with that finger snap crap. Keep them strong asl? Yeah but also to the point where Dean and Sam should’ve have been facing them head on as often as they did in the series. Take Sam and Dean out and give Adam a few episodes to shine with Castiel as he sacrifices himself to become Michael’s new vessel to fight Lucifer, making his character more memorable in the process.
The big fights were so awful in the later seasons. These guys clashing was supposed to end the world, yet here it's just a few bad cgi blasts. Don't even get me started on Jack-juiced Lucifer against String-flying Dean.

I miss gabriel
I hate that they built up the beginning of a lucifer Redemption Ark just to throw it away at every turn its clear they were going that way, but then they gave up. With God being the final villain, lucifer being redeemed made sense.

Why didn't they make Jack stay til everyone got threw?! Or why didn't they go up to the rift and call Jack back and kill Michael? Or why didn't Lucifer & Gabriel fight him at the same time? Jump his crazy ass

And if a movie came about - im sure it would be strong with Gabriel - The Angel who observed - didnt choose sides - but came in when needed.

Not a fan of other Michael, his characterization is off base. Michael is the most loyal son, now he's got a gripe against his dad? I want our micheal back, similar to the John Winchester version
The reason why Lucifer became bad was because God, His Brothers and Humanity hurt him. He is in a lot of pain like me and we can't change!
