That is some of the sickest skiing I've ever seen ....stay away from alcohol it's the best thing you can do for yourself.... I skied Jackson Hole and Grand Targee a long time ago 1989...nothing like what you accomplished....great mountain to ski....it was the first mountain I skied out west as I'm from New York....what an experience I will never forget it .... I'm 71 and my skiing days are over..... keep skiing my friend.....
Thank you sir, awesome that you have a connection to this place as well! You're right about the booze, fortunately skiing is the best motivator for me to do that. All the best to you
Pure clean no BS so well done. Such an easy subscription. In my old days, S+S was the most extreme, skied with Dave the Wave and Wade McCoy photographing. My snow is now liquid H2O. Fantastic stuff ya'll are studs. Looking forward to what comes next.
Thumbs up Teton Brown!!! I skied Jackson Hole Ski Resort with a friend for just three days back in 1973. This was just inbounds skiing for me. I never learned extreme skiing such as skiing Corbet's Couloir. In fact this was the only ski run I ever refused to go down. We skied Alta Ski Resort, Utah were a skier fell down on High Rustler and sliced his neck on sage brush a number of years after we were there and skied the same slope. The rest of my Rocky Mountain ski adventures were Vail, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain, and Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico. Not much I know. Only 18 times at 8 different places all in western United States. Now my skiing days are all but over because of my health. No money to go skiing as well. Don't take nothing for granted something comes your way like cancer ir a autoimmune disease (myself). Gary
Thanks for the kind words Gary! Looks like you skied some excellent places. I definitely try to remind myself to take nothing for granted and appreciate every day in the mountains. I'll keep producing content that hopefully you can enjoy vicariously
Kirkwood Ski Resort, California and Crested Butte Ski Resort, Colorado are also known for extreme skiing in these lower 48 states. I seen some videos of extreme skiing in Alaska before. I don't know much about British Columbia, Alberta, and Europe on this subject. Ironically a skier has to bend their knees in skiing, yet with this inflammatory pain I have behind both my knees I wish I had my legs cut off 10 inches above my knees. It's either that or take immune suppressive drugs like Prednisone but my immune system is already suppressed on it's own doing. It's been down to 4 1/2% on a V.A. blood test. The minimum for a healthy veteran is 17% on the machine(s) used at the V.A. Health Clinic I went to. You get down to zero you are a extreme high risk for fatal infections or cancer. The option is just put up with this inflammatory pain. Cold weather suppresses inflammation, however we haven't had much cold weather like down to 10 degrees above zero here in Michigan this winter. Summertime is the worst because the heat increases inflammation. Spring skiing is my only option, however we have no car and no money to buy one. We just have our Social Security Income and nothing else.
Mr. Teton or Mr. Brown (ha,ha!), at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, Colorado has chutes called the East Wall. The ski patrol opens this up if there is no avalanche threat.
Dope video! Here to watch the old surfing buddy Matt Fournaris’ videography but definitely gonna stay for more sick ski content! Im stoked for this ski season to get rolling.
I'm watching this video while I'm recovering after a knee surgery bc of skiing, you make me want to go back to the slopes so badly!! Nice video, keep it up!!!!
From experience I tell you to rest and recover a little longer than feels necessary. I know its hard to resist the call but I promise that it is even more frustrating to be back asap and not ease yourself into it and get injured again immediately because you haven't grown accustomed to the knew feeling in the knees. Treat it like you first have to take your first turns again after injuring your knee. There could be the tiniest of changes to how your knee operates and feels which you'll never encounter in everyday life but suddenly on a black you notice how one of your tendons doesn't extend like it previously did and you're on the stretcher again faster than you can say Jackson Hole. Regards, someone who now wears knee braces
I need a buddy like this guy.. so many lines to send.. always feel like skiing is a battle and causes issues with loved ones..like no one gets the life..
Wise words. The "clicks" are nice, cuz it funds projects like this and makes the dream possible. But I will always be doing this stuff for myself. I truly love it that much. It's always important to be careful though. I appreciate the reminder
Vail has some good terrain! I skied there a lot when I was at college in Boulder. Would be stoked to get out there. I'd love to do some lines in the Gore too
Good question. I suppose just cuz I enjoy drinking and also I lack the source of motivation (skiing) to keep me dry in the summer. I'm off the sauce again for this ski season though. Maybe it will stick this time
2:03 you are obviously drinking as a result of pain from childhood. And death doesn’t scare someone who abuses their body all the time anyway. Brother I’m praying for you. I was like you, on the total edge. Nah just kidding man. Bees knees!
Haha thanks, my childhood was fortunately pretty pain-free. I just got lost in the drinking culture of skiing a bit I guess. All sober now though. Skiing is a good motivator
Dude! Those lines were sick, nice work last season, lets get after it this year now that i'm able to send again!
Yeah dude, stoked to have you healthy this season!

patently trump is not the only person focussed on himself.
FJB
The production quality of this video is absolutely absurd.
Nice 👍 LINK WITH OWEN LEEPER! 🤘 Make sure to bring bourbon 🥃 @O_leeps 😮 😊
Yes dude, Owen and I will ski for sure. I will likely be on the NA beers tho. Sobriety seems to work for me
@@teton_brown Nothing wrong with sobriety! 🤘👌
