I wish someone would've caught it, but I jumped in line & threw a cork 1080, tootsie-roll, jelly-flop double front to fakie. It's coll tho, I don't want the recognition.
I agree, this is starting to turn into a slopestyle event rather than dropping into Corbets. Maybe they should add a massive bump run to see who really has the full skillset of giant gonads, bumps and jumps; maybe some old skool ski ballet at the end ?
I get the reaction that some of these guys had less than spectacular runs but consider all the videos of good skiers trying to get the courage just to drop into Corbets and ski out of it in one piece. Not too many slopestyle courses are bounded by tight rock walls followed by hidden rocks. Every one of these guys has my admiration.
I ran into Blake Wilson at mammoth during SU and that dude is so humble. If you ever see this Blake you are the man and keep doing you brother! ~that one guy in the gondola
I remember when Scott Schmidt and Glen Plake would bust spread eagles off of 50-60 foot cliffs and that was what made warren miller films. Damn im old.
Stay in your lane @Houseofhighlights ... This was a very skilled skier, with a skilled but basic entry... Check out The Kings and Queens of Corbet competition, right there at the same drop, at Jackson Hole, Wyoming... AND make a statement 😂😂😂😂😂😮
You think the first thing that redbull would Ask The commentators is whether or not They could pronounce the damn name of the place. Haven't heard anyone say it correctly, yet. So sad
I love snowboarding, but I started with ski's at around 2,5 years old before getting my first snowboard in around 96' and the age of 6.. Man, I just have to say that it's absolute hell to ride after several skiers have gone down the same slope.. This is not hating on skiers, it's hating on the tracks the ski's make in this kind of terrain.. You'll walk like a spider that broke his tail bone and shit itself for a few days trying to tame those bumps unless you pu**y-foot it..AND I have to say that the shots here doesn't even come close to justifying the steepness and the height of these drops..
I understand that, i also do think the same but you have to agree that snowboarders scrape up all the good snow so quickly and make it so unpleasant to ski on. (i ski and snowboard equal amounts)
wow 720 and 1080 off a single jump and these people still think we would not notice. not much judging going on at that jump. you would think when they put the jump in they could plan around there own 1080 and 720 not having value either way. there side must be really full that the judges all never show to corbets for them to use the actual number they are trying to push as something they did. what a crappy big jump. like seriously. hope your crew spins 720's and 1080's then says its called corbits.
probably where the 720p meets up with them trying to go ski as people. such a cheap combination of group. top 5 from corbets ? id never show up to this. and the 720 and the 1080 are rubbing. next you expect me to think the video story and the snow story can even be unmatched.

Same bro I threw a hand drag dub-10 tail grab with a wall ride on the rocks but it didn’t make it up here
Just so everyone knows he's not lying, I was there and watched him do it
@@oVoltz_ I saw that! ...Or maybe I didn't...So SICK!!🤣😂
@@tarik567 Thanks man...I yard sale'd on my 1st try a week before on a simple Rock Lobster. Mad respects to you & your crew!
it’s true he landed on me and broke my spine
the entry tricks were pretty tame this year... the drop should be the initial focus imo, not the final jump
I agree, this is starting to turn into a slopestyle event rather than dropping into Corbets. Maybe they should add a massive bump run to see who really has the full skillset of giant gonads, bumps and jumps; maybe some old skool ski ballet at the end ?
Yeah, no triple backflips or 900's into the chute, so tame...
hes just saying that there have been double backflips in the past but now they just doing singles and stuff instead of throwing down hard
it's because the landing was difficult this year, a lot of people crashed at the drop in.
Wish they would have got a bluebird day
Colby Stevenson with the HEAT!🔥💪
a basin is great,
just the thought of scootin up to that cliff switch makes my skin crawl. dude is a mad man lol
@@nickknoote 💯
Blake Wilsons run was super clean
So much style!
actually carved turns. Luckily the one plancker left enough snow to finish the competition.
Who would have known that Lonny Ball’s first descent would have morphed into this. Totally the best year of competition

top 2 runs were insane
The drop off the second wall was so sick
Amazing skiing and snowboarding skills displayed! Thanks for sharing!
Deze peeps are nutty love it, SENT🤙🤟🖖
Pretty bad when the announcer calls a frontside 720 a backside 540
Yeah he did
Or doesn't even know how to say Couloir properly.
🔥Amazing🔥
Drones really changed skiing and Red Bull rampage filming like crazy.
These top runs were pretty soft compared to what beens thrown in the past...but still rad to see.
I worry someone’s gonna hit that rock wall at some point but damn, if it’s not an awesome event to watch
Are the less people doing this event? Seemed a little muted this year.
Might be hard just to get there with all the storms
@@thegreatwebstar had to be something like that…
Ben Richards should have been an honorable mention
The last one 😮
sick!
Not even close to past years. This looks like the ladies honorable mentions.
sick
Dude!!
commentator is clearly a skier lol
Why watch this when you can watch FIS big air?
3:57 - Bear Style

Candide Thovex THE best ever !
Stevenson or hackle I think
a 720p or a 1080p sure isnt the same thing your putting value in.
go back a couple years was way better. but these fools are crazy none the less
wow
How did the snowboarder make top 5? A switch 540, then a 720 melon. Very weak. Not even close to what the skiers threw down
The first was actually a 720 too, commentator called it wrong.
Yeah last year was dub 10 off the top I thought
These people are crazy. how can you do back flips or jumps on such a steep mountain? You could get a spianal injury if you fall on your head/back.
Parkin was easily top 5
Thats all finished. the only person the olson twins complain about is mila kunis.

what do you mean
"Dropping in Switch back 5" Snowboarder does a front 7?????
🥱
Just like normal, snowboarder drops in chute and scrapes the whole thing out...
pretty much the one-plank version of frontside pizza transitioning to frontside pizza, switch.
Dude!
"Couloir" is pronounced "cool-waar" not "cool-ar" lol.

@@tinyungo1362 Yeah. It's probably a skill problem. If they just constantly scrape and not carve, they shouldn't be riding that slope.
@@GoingNorthObv agreed, but i HATE boarding on. a track that has a bunch of scrape marks
blake wilson won if you factor in steeze
Who cares about the final jump when we can see that anywhere. Irrelevant.

Hope you guys get judged.
Almost sounds like it was live streamed, gdang shame it wasn’t. Better luck doing better and not fcking up next year @jacksonhole @redbullsnow
So once again no one’s came close to the boarder who wall rode the cliff on the right. Skiers suck. Go boarders!
Boarder's board because they suck at skiing
I thought he was just there to groom the run.
