- What is up everyone? It's thursday again and time for yet another 10 Minute Modeling Challenge. Yes, this video is over 25 minutes long and it's called 10 Minute Modeling Challenge - but that's because I overdo the intro and I provide a bunch of modeling tips after the modeling section =) If you come only for the modeling part, fast forward to 6:45, which will be impossible during the live premiere but an alternative there is to make a coffee and/or wear ear protection!

i appreciate how genuine this guy is, it makes it easy to relate and understand
These 10 mins series made me to know blender and be creative
Most of all is to model faster and animate. Big up you got skills👍 Salute
i know this is old but Im sorry to hear about your mother, glad shes ok. Thanks for the vids, theyre so informative its a real inspiration and its actually helping me get my mind off worrying about my 84yo father currently in the hospital battling covid/pneumonia. it seems like he just about coming around but thats some tough stuff for a family to go thru. much love
your channel has helped me more than other channel when it comes to blender. Thank you!
Thanks for showing how you add color to your models as you go. It's made an incredible difference in the quality of my work and It's just motivating to see it come to life. Keep up the amazing work!
Congratulations to your Mum. Fingers crossed for everyone around the world.
You content is, as every, "DOMINATING!!!"
Superhärlig stämning i dina videos. Tusen tack återigen!
These videos are a treasure trove of knowledge, and I love your sense of humor. Thank you for making this series!
Select Linked by UVs!! What a handy tip!!
20:53 was the best moment in the Live Chat!
xD LMAO
I'm a simple man, when I see a blender tutorial, I clik thumb up. Thank you for your series.
tht was awesome, it helps me remember tht its ok to move on to the next step even if its not "perfect"! you can always go back later :)
I appreciate your work and your videos! Found your channel 2 hours ago and I am still watching all your videos because I am learning 3d modeling right now and I need to get more creative too. Thanks a lot!!! You're so kind and skilled
Don't know if you've come back to this, but using ANT landscape add on you get the "Create" tab in the side menu that opens with "N". In "Landscape Tools" there's "Weight from Slope" that will generate a weight paint based on slope and elevation.
HOW WHAT WOAH THANK YOU I LEARNED A LOT FROM THIS VIDEO THANK YOU
YOU EARNED A SUBSCRIBER. I SAY DESERVED!
I've never been more grateful to have clicked the subscribe button for someone before.
this should be presented to every graphic & design schools to show how important are shortcuts to save time. Damn bruh respect
4 the job interview I watched lots of your 10mins videos to learn a bit blender for low-poly modeling in hypercasual game industry. obviously, I got the job bcs you are an amazing talent and teacher. Thx a lot!
great work! And you did this with no reference just pure freestyle.
Best game design channel of all time. You're such a fantastic educator. I'm going to shift to doing this instead of messing with unity's terrain tools.
This was one of your best videos yet. Your humor and easy going personality make your channel more than "just" tutorials. You'll be closing in on 1/4 mill subs before you know it doing pretty much what you keep doing. I'm a professional youtube video watcher, I can predict these things :)
U called it :)
Looking forward to the high poly low poly car video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ive been watching since the start of the low poly 10 min builds and they really helped me start to make my own models so thank you. ps i think it would be a cool challenge to do a higher quality build once to see
edit: even if its not 10 minutes obviously
Completely agree, i would love to see like some artists do, the 10 min version and the 1 hour version
I don't do this stuff but this channel is so fun . I keep whatching it. thanks for the good content that you release
My slow A would take a few hours doing this, forget wasting 2 minutes. I'm subbing, I got to learn from you
Thanks for this. I finished your 1hr 30 minutes tutorial today. I'm able to follow this one and make a good mountain.
Learned something new every video. Your color palette is pretty good
Your discovery of L to select UV was just the best ahahah ! Almost just lacking the Light Bulb above your face ! Low poly of course :p
I love these videos. I get so many ideas from them.
This one was funny video editing and very fast modeling of course.
Cant wait for the high/low poly car tutorial. Looking forward to learn how to model the different parts of the car, making it detailed. Keep up the work, I love your videos!
For selecting all steep slopes... Select an area of flat even ground > Shift-G > Normal > Play with the threshold until the cliffs you want are unselected > Invert Selection.
The merch should definately say "S to extrude"
Like suggested, I will make a limited edition of that!
@Sir. MadMango yes. But you do it so much you get them mix up
@Mangolin Yes, E is the correct key for extruding. S is for scaling. They're just joking because Imphenzia said it wrong in the video at 20:52 and then gave himself a hard time about it.
S to estrude
I feel like a learned alot in just a small window. You really showed me how easy it is to make a good scene.
Great as always. Cool Island. Stay safe.
To be honest I learn a lot from your Videos, you are really cool designer
Nice! and some tipps for beginners! you rock!!!!
greetings from germany
this one was awesome
it is so fun to watch your videos. love it!
love you!
Awesome model as usual ! Every time I see the thumbnail I wonder how you'll be able to achieve that and everytime you hit the mark. Your videos I always a pleasure to watch and I always learn a few clever tricks.
This was amazing!!! You sir are awesome! I wish I had 0.5% talents like you! 👍🏼
Dude. These videos are amazing. Through every step and every funny edit. Really getting me into this subject matter
I see a lot of useful information on this one, will give this one a shot when i got some time!
Cool, good luck and have fun =) Glad you found it useful!
I love it even before it is started :-)
fantastic video as usual! tack!
glad i stumbled on these videos. love it!
Nice track at the end!
Thank you for your great content. Please note that in Germany the age median of covid accounted deaths is 82 years and the official statistics could not show a deviation of total deaths during the last months compared to the previous years. We got on average of 100 covid accounted deaths per day, where due to the natural limit of age and the other death causes on average 3000 to 4000 people die per day in germany.
"A game changer, boys and girl!" LMAOOOO Hi, I'm the girl, nice to meet you all!
b-but!! i’m the girl! how can there be more!?
@@lily2078 Whats a girl?
Im also the girl, but he did say 3%!
@@baboosrandomvids5390 So 100 Viewers in total
I'm a g-girl, yes, definitely a legit human girl... I'm telling the truth here, please believe me that I'm a girl. Yes
This blew my mind.
man you are legend really made a category on youtube IMO "lets model in 10 minutes" series xD
Lovely. I've learnt some interesting workflow
nice! your films is so usefull. thanks!
Wish I had those skills. That was cool.
Thank you for this, you're awesome dude.
16:54 Why did I expect such a ratio already, but damn... 3% is really low.
Im excited....
By way of trying to help you out; one synonym for "extrude" is "emit". Several synonyms for "emit" are; *"secrete", "send forth (out)", "spew", "squirt"* ... so ... "S to (choose your synonym's synonym)"
P.S. I rather enjoy the extra (unhurried) tips and discoveries after the build - no need for apologies.
The shortcut for "select similar" is Shift G
Thanks for these short sessions and great explanations afterward, "impressive" (Quake sound) what you can model in just 10 min!
Tips
• To move on x,y or z ► G + middle mouse + slight movement on the direction to lock axis
Similarly to rotate and scale on x,y or z, I find it a little slower
► R or S + middle mouse + slight movement (then point the axis with a little white line indicator)
[ more detail on ► docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/scene_layout/object/editing/transform/control/axis_locking.html ]
• Select similar ► Shift + G
Incredible. What he does in 10 mins would take me a week.
Love your videos, merci!
that last minute is so intense lmao
Great video ! And considering you are dead tired :) well played
Here someone part of your 3% audience. Thanks for sharing, I've just learned a lot of stuff with this video :D
Hi - you're welcome! Thanks for commenting and glad you learn from it. I just got over 4% now, slowly increasing =)
Very impressive dude..i liked it💪
He is humanized time lapse.
Good stuff as usual.
😭 i didn't see the Premiere thing.. I am just so exited to just wait
For that I will salute you
thank you!!
That looks really cool, well done.
you can use the 3dprinting addon for selecting steep angles.
amazing work
Awesome Vid mate!
Never would have expected to find a Ghana Says Goodbye meme in a Blender tutorial, but here I am laughing my ass off.
Thanks a lot, learned how to model an island from you!
Whooa that will be good
My word, that's cool
Oh my god I’ve been looking for ways to design an island... there are no good tutorials out there for what I needed. Until now. Thank you’
That's great - haha, even though it's not a tutorial as such. But I think I wan't to do a longer Island one too.
Imphenzia not a tutorial per se, but I learn so much from this series! I’d love to see longer island too :)
Do something sports related like an ice hockey arena🤔I love these videos 💪🏼
The reason you need to select at least 3 sides in the slop selection is probably blender is averaging the normals. You need to select the facing different directions so it doesn't select just faces turned to one side. Choosing faces in groups of 120º apart should be enough, so they cancel out.
Can't wait for the GTR vid!!!
Loving the vids. One suggestion... Could you make a quick game like the racer but with a Person as the character exploring the island? Maybe, have the character need to get a crystal to unlock a boat to escape before the lava overflows or something like that. It be cool to see how you program that.... It doesn't have to be in 10 minutes though it would be awesome if you could manage it 🤣🤣.
Very cool!
Hello sir... Nice tutorial again.. cool
thank u stefan ( from aurora 9 years old) , i always follow your tutorial.
That was impressive.
Thanks!
thank you very mutch
This is place where low-poly has real value.
Beautiful island.
For the steep tiles : You could have selected flat tiles and then inverted selection. The up normal would be more similar than all the steep normal going 360 around the z axis.
Next Vid: "Let's Model The World In 10 Minutes" XD
Wow
Why not - a low poly globe would be in scope and welcome as well.
cg geek made it in 1mins lol
God did it in 7 days Imphenzia can do it in 10 minutes
@@georgechristoforou991 EPIC
i didnt listen but you kept me up :D
Awesome stuff!
What a great video! I love the way your island looks!
The crystals you made later looked amazing as well
Also seeing that you are a man of culture who uses the coffin dance meme made me really happy :D
For rocks/crystals you could also use the "random" option in proportional editing. Then instead of selecting single faces you can select a whole area where rocks should appear.
I was exactly the 1000th like, now I’m happy
I imagine this island is where the dragon and lava monster play Chess. I never knew about the delimiting feature on the L command. Blender has so many features under the hood. Speaking of which, looking forward to that car video.
This one had some amazing tipps :-)
Good work man ta
The way this guy speak it makes the video 100% better than any indian blender tutorial ...
