  • Sorry about the audio. It was fine until it uploaded here and now I notice it’s kinda of raspy. Just wanted to point out a few things. I haven’t had much to really post lately but I have a bunch of things going on the next couple weeks so I should be posting a lot more.
    Quick spark notes for this: I have the 2” risers and I’m definitely leaning forward more and they’re lower than stock but not significantly. Any less than 2” I feel would be a little too much for me personally. 3” or even 2.5” would be a good idea if you like the height more stock but want a different style but either way your gonna be leaning forward a little more. Not ideal for stunt builds in my honest opinion.
    Also definitely check out GromSquatch’s page. He puts out really good content and is pretty active in the community. Seriously huge shoutout to him for all he did to help with the wildfire. Check out his “Day Of Chaos” video on his page, it definitely lives up to the title

    this is what someone said on a video yesterday... 3 people that have had full engine replacement from 1 Dealer in my area,so it's a known issue, the main bearing housing slips in the stator side caused by the gearbox shaft bearings being to thin,it's caused by an over tight chain and jumping or heavier riders,total rebuild, split cases,specialist tools,,re machine the bearing housing, but it's to thin,,,,thanks honda ,,🙈

      If it’s a known problem they should have a recall out for it. Especially something like that. Honda is and will forever be my all time favorite and I’m as loyal as they come but I gotta say they’re letting me down with this now 😩I should be getting my new Grom around new year and I’m hoping I don’t have to go through this too. Or if I do that at least they have a recall by then. Idk anyone in my area with a new Grom let alone with this problem. Hopefully you don’t have to go through any kind of catastrophic failure just for them finally do something about your problem

      @@egoboost9952 yeah at this point seems like they are letting a lot of people down.. i loved my 19 sf.. not one single issue and it was abused...5k miles and still ran like new..yeah itd be nice if recalled instead of me having to lock it up or it do something stupid after warranty is up

      They’re awesome! I actually swapped them out for pro tapers for better stunt / crash protection and sold these but regretted it immediately and missed them so much I bought them new and swapped them back out 😂 I suggest 2” - 2”5 rise at most unless you like the lower look and feel but 3” I think would be too drastic

    Im convinced the problem is in the trans. Happened to mine too going into 1st at a red light. It was trying to pull through the light even though i had clutch full in. Stalled out when i clamped the brakes down. Hasn't done it since i did 1st service, we'll see what happens.

      It’s funny you say that. There was only 1 time I had a weird transmission problem and that was when I pulled up to my job and I went from second to neutral and it felt like it went in fine and it said “N” on my indicator and not the dashes like it was in between gears, then after about 2 seconds it jerked forward and stalled and I think had the dashes. It like kicked itself into gear. I’ve been nervous about rolling when I’m in neutral ever since lmao

      @@egoboost9952 yeah, the false nuetral. Thats a grom thing for sure. If it wasn't for the god aweful squealing and the shifter wouldn't go up or down I'd have probably chalked it up to that.

      @@willyjimmy8881 it’s crazy bro I alway hear people talk about it and I think to myself “it’s not that hard just put it in neutral like wtf” and then that happened to me. So needless to say I get it now 😂
