      GTA V favors having strong quad core performance. First gen ryzen had a single core boost while the rest are lower clocks. 2000 series Precision boost 2 kinda fixed it but it still was lacking in IPC and clock speed. 3000 series has the cache for lower latency and PBO to keep your CPU boosting at it's highest as long as it within spec and thermal constraints .
      So you will actually see that in older games that intel used to dominate Ryzen 3000 is also doing as well if not better.

    These videos are just what the people with limited budgets need!
    These videos answer and contemplate EXACTLY the same questions I have when I start upgrading my system every 3-5 years(like just now) So questions like what's the current best bang for buck processor/GPU/memory? And I think I'm not alone so I expect this channel to keep growing.
    Also I like a lot the way things are presented. There is no selling (which I HATE!!) but just evaluating the components and wondering where you should put your money now to get the best deal.

    These comparisons are really interesting, pls keep this series!
    The XX80 Ti traditionally becomes the XX50 Ti after 2 series.
    780 Ti -> 1050 Ti
    980 Ti -> 1660 Ti (is nothing more than a GTX 2050 Ti with a massive price increase, so was renamed to justify it.)
    2060 is nearly as fast as a 1080, which is at least 25% faster than a 980 Ti.
    H370 wouldn't allow you to run 3200 RAM, so performance on the i7 would be less.
    Buy the 3600, it is 50 bucks cheaper without any performance loss.

      Yes, we've all watched Gamer Nexus video by now :) Same guy that recommended 3600x over 3600 just two days ago prior to testing 3600x. I just started following him couple of weeks ago and he's been wrong a lot. My point is, don't take his words blindly. Wait for others to benchmark and OC the heck out of the two.

    Great video, i just picked up a 2600x w new motherboard from microcenter yesterday after much contemplation between 2600x and 3600, the guy that sold it to me really pushed the 3600 saying it blew the 2600x out of the water. I eventually decided that the real upgrade will be to 8 core so for now the 2600x is fine. This video very much helped me confirm my thoughts and calmed my doubts.

    The cooler is not the same. The 2600x cooler has a coper head that touches the cpu, the 3600x does not.🤔🤔🤔

      The copper head cooler is better (2600X). AMD chose a cheaper cooler for the 3600X, cause it doesnt get as hot (7nm CPU), so it doesnt need the higher cooling power of the copper head cooler. That said, it would at least get a slightly better boost frequency or run a bit quieter with the old cooler. But you know how companies are these days... safe as much money as you can!
