I have found my boye shuttle to be frustrating after using my plastic shuttles. When I fumble and drop the boye it tangles badly. How do these butterfly shuttles compare to the boye by weight?
I personally have grown to really dislike the metal boye shuttles, the edges seem very sharp to me. I kind of like the flat hook that they have, but use almost anything BUT a metal boye. The butterflies are a TINY bit heavier than a metal boye. (I actually got out my kitchen scale because I couldn't be sure that wasn't imagining a difference). The butterfly was a tenth of an ounce heavier. haha (yes, my inner nerd is showing). Thanks for your question and for watching!!
