I have short fat fingers, the shuttle pass with the most unusual shuttle I dont think would work for me. The texture on the other shuttle I would like. Overtime it would wear down. I have a clover plastic shuttle that has thumb ridges on it, which keeps me from fumbling and dropping the shuttle during the double stitch. I don’t recall the price point? Not sure if fancy constitutes price. They are pretty, but I am a cheapskate.
I've had both hands operated on for carpal tunnel and trigger thumb, and they've lost some strength. Sometimes, I'm just all thumbs and I drop/throw shuttles often. I'm happy when they don't unwind all the way to the floor (and roll away, still unwinding themselves), but have a good laugh at myself when I do. I'm a bit of a cheapskate, too, but have found that I rather enjoy collecting (all my shuttles are for use, not just collecting), and pretty ones do cost a bit more... welllll except for the ones that I bought in bulk and my friend paints. Tat with what makes you happy! Thanks for watching!!
Are the textured shuttles easier to hold on to? They don't slip out of your fingers as easily? Thanks! I'm hearing impaired, so the mic is a little soft, for me.
Yes. But to be fair, I haven't done a project with them yet. They feel so unusual that I think my brain has become stuck on the tactile-ness of them. Lol. Sometimes they almost feel sticky, but that could just be humidity or me being so hot. Thanks for your feedback, I'll try a different setup for the mic so you can hear me better. (Although, I'm sure some would argue that you're better off NOT hearing me. Lol).
Love the clicky noises too, l only work with posted shuttles for that reason 👍❤
Post shuttles are my favorite for sure! I'll have more shuttles from this designer in a video soon! Thanks for watching (and commenting!)
