I've been in the military(Marines)too and felt empty. Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God filled that void. Call on Him and be baptised and see what happens.
You stole my comment! Amen! We were custom made by God for God. There will always be a void without Him. Jesus Christ is the only answer. Repent and believe the Gospel. The 2nd birth is when true life begins.
