well i've been to stockholm once and in the supermarkets i only saw beer with less than 3% alcohol. that's what i would refer to as "light beer" because here in austria there's no beer with less than 5%.
Yes its terrible here with beer. In a small town there is usually only one so called Monopoly store that sels alcohol, but not on sundays

Ooh I thought the "light beer" was some kind of low carb thing. Supermarkets in Sweden are not allowed to sell alcohol with more than 3.5% in them. If you wan't the "heavier" stuff you have to go to Systembolaget, which is a government owned liquor store. That sucks...
