I really appreciate this video, Benj. I was curious about the differences in homes between where I live now and in the Boise area. Boise homeowners have more to consider. I was curious about the roofing especially. Major shingle manufacturers like Owens Corning make "Lifetime Warranty" (actually a 50 years prorated warranty) roofing materials. Are there any reasons why a homeowner can't install one of these "Lifetime Warranty" roofs? Does the cold and potential snow cause problems with tile roofing common in places like California? Thank you! 👍👍👍
Excellent video! Glad you don't have to deal with termites like down in TX. I don't think I ever seen anyone get on the roof and actually show issues like you did in a video like this. You mentioned people getting their wells fixed, do you mean they need to be drilled deeper?
Yes that’s right. The water level gets too low and they have to dig down deeper. They usually dig a new well next to it though (not sure totally sure why actually…)
Funny I asked this about the Ketchum/Sun Valley Idaho area years back. The response I got was 'We don't have termites in the valley'. No wonder wooden structures do so well in Idaho.
Great info!!! Really enjoying your videos!
Well done.
Thank you! 😍
Thanks for this video Brett..I mean Benj. Very informative, funny and engaging.

Are termites common in the TV?
Termites in Idaho?
Really. Any particular reason? Does the radon kill them all or something? 😅

@@ColdPotato I'm curious why- climate, something in the soil, elevation? Bad tasting wood/lumber there?
@@jedwin4816 I think the termites can't afford the Wood River Valley area.
