I can vouch for rent inflation as an owner. The HOA increased fees due to insurance to cover increased property value and I had to pass that on to the tenant unfortunately. I think insurance inflation is the silent killer here regarding housing.
I’m so glad to hear that inflation has gone down….. meanwhile my wallet at the grocery store says the prices are only skyrocketing. I know the government doesn’t factor in actual costs of living to determine the inflation rate.. but nothing in my world is stabilizing.
