@@BenjForeman We can’t wait to come back in April! We’ve been purging our house here after so many years wanting to make our move! Oh and I have to say you have a beautiful family! 🥰

Benj, as long as there's no repeat of 2017-Snowmaggedon, winter and road conditions are not bad at all in the metro's, and nowhere near something like COlorado.

When we were there back in June of this year, I found it to be quite nice. Other than it being a bit colder, it's pretty similar to where we now live in California. I tend to like cooler weather, but I'll just have to get used to it being a bit colder and make some adjustment for the freezing temperatures. Do you often get a "white Christmas" in the TV? We love the difference in politics and culture. It's pretty clear that there's a strong Judeo-Christian influence on people's behavior; people know what the "Golden Rule" is. Most people were friendly when we were there. We did get dogged by one driver, because I was driving a bit slow while looking around and trying to figure out where to go. Home prices will come down over time as a very likely recession unfolds next year, and some sellers are already cutting prices well below listing prices on some properties.

Yes, it’ll snow a lot of times around Christmas. Hope you enjoy it here!

I've never experienced a "white Christmas"; I'd love to experience that just like the Bing Crosby song called White Christmas. Life in the TV won't be perfect, but there's much more to gain than lose. Thank you and have a great Christmas and New Year! @@BenjForeman

Yes, of course the conservatives from CA are moving from CA to Idaho. It makes sense. I would be surprised if many Dems move to Idaho as beautiful as it looks.

Maybe the most liberal city in south-ID could be the city of Boise itself...you hear comments like Boise is becoming the Austin-TX of Idaho, idk.

We'll welcome the good Californians, LOL.... If you want liberal try the Wood River Valley, yikes! Plan to move back to Idaho when my working days in TX/tech are done. Regarding Boise, I hope it holds out. I've been in Austin TX long enough to see what local politics can do to a city and it hasn't been pretty here. AC? LOL in TX if you can't hear your AC, it's broken.

I was just thinking the other day I have not seen one of your excellent videos about TV real estate and expert insight into TV current events lately.
That estimated 10 to 14 percent of democrat newcomers from the west coast moving to your area was apparently enough to re-elect the D Mayor of Boise last month 😒

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you also have to smog your vehicles in the Boise Metro Area?

They’ve been talking about getting rid of it for years since it doesn’t do anything, and I think they finally did.

@BenjForeman that would be good. Here in the Moscow area, we haven't had to since we moved here from Southern California in 2020.

Don’t kid yourself, though most native Idaho are more conservative and freedom minded, most people still believe in Govt and that stems from a lack of not understanding the true fundamentals of freedom. Government and Freedom on a fundamental level are incompatible. If this great country wants to eradicate this disease and bring freedom back, Government needs to be reduced to the size of a ant or even better, we need to go back to smaller independent societies, not big cities and states where you have a Governor or Mayor who thinks they’re like Kings and Queens. Remember, as a human, you are born free. You don’t magically become a slave just because a bunch of human clowns got together and created a law that magically made it mandatory for you to follow.
