Does a person have to be a resident of Idaho to sign the petition? I'm a person who wants to move to (somewhere in) the Treasure Valley in the future,
and the way the Feds are practically becoming communistic, I HATE them acting as if they own everything.

LOL - I love how you put the Minidoka guard tower as a comparison

This is a tough one for western states. The Feds control most of the land. California, I remember political ads in the 80s on feds trying to send water rights to CA from Idaho. Not sure how that worked, but it was a thing. The reason this is a thing is California has overwhelming influence over federal policy. edit: you covered the water thing! Guess they're still at it.

Yes, it’s a problem!! The federal government shouldn’t have a right to dictate how we use our water.

Horrible idea!!! CA created their own problems and they get no sympathy from me! That’s why we don’t live there anymore!! Keep the government out of beautiful Idaho! We’ll sign that petition!

This is NIMBY to the extreme. California has tons of BLM land. (signed and donated petition)
