today i took my final exam. ap gov was the class that i skipped the most this year (im not very proud of my senioritis) and i skipped ALOT, so i really had absolutely no clue what was going on in the class. to give you a basic idea: i didnt know what a writ of certiorari was until yesterday. i know. i dont blame you for judging me hardcore right now lol. but anyways i watched this video all the way only once and on the final i got a 95% (it was a past released ap exam so i was able to check my answers after the test). i really wish i knew about this video before the ap exam too. i have no doubt that i wouldve gotten a 4 or 5 if i had. if you are reading the comment section to decide whether to invest an hour of your time watching this video, i 200% recommend. seriously, adam norris knows what he is talking about and somehow is able to pinpoint the exact info we need to know for the exam. while i was taking the final i was so surprised to see that whatever adam covered in this video, there was a question for it. sorry for the lengthy comment, but this video is really all you need if you are like me and have trouble managing time & cant/dont want to put in alot of effort into studying. Mr. Adam Norris, you saved my ap gov grade and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this video. I'm going to recommend this to all of my underclassmen friends who are planning to take gov in the future.

This video was legit the entire test. I took an online AP gov course this year and didn't open the book once because it just wasn't my style of learning, and I took the test with ease because of this video. Printout, watched it twice, literally only used this video and some random Quizlet to study the night before - no "notes" I took this year, or past quizzes. Thank you for the time to make this video, because I just got the score back yesterday, and I got a 5. Thank you for everything!

Took the test today. Didn't read out of the book once, passed the semester with an A. Didn't read, didn't watch any other videos except this one for the ap exam and it was the easiest thing I ever seen. Thanks for the help Adam. Last year I got a 4 on the APUSH exam and didn't even read or pay attention in class either. Passed both semesters with As. Continue to work hard and be the educator that many of us respect you as. Thanks for everything.

my fellow ap gov buddies that are cramming for the test here are some things i would like to point out :
    • like he said, this test does NOT determine your self worth. you are amazing no matter what
•take deep breaths. if you’re like me and you get really bad test anxiety, you may blank from the stress. take a few seconds , breathe, and then come back when you are ready.
•on the FRQ’s write A LOT. don’t skip anything. write as much as you can.
•review this and others as well. do your best and have fun. i know it’s torturous but you are in the class for a reason. you’re smart. you know this. (not to say others aren’t smart, i just mean don’t feel stupid or like you can’t do it. )
    •get a good night rest !!!
good luck everyone. taking mine tomorrow. hope it goes good. let’s all hope for 3+ :)

I can't THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR DEDICATING 52 minutes and 48 seconds to making an AMAZING ALL INCLUSIVE VIDEO OF THE AP EXAM!!!! I even had a couple of laughs in there when you mentioned Henry clay ( in APUSH our class kept asking our teacher so when is Henry Clay going to die? Jokingly of course), and when you said "don't say you have the right to be an attorney" ;) I know where that was from hehe. ANYWAY YOU HAVE SAVED MY BUTT!!! I am going to re listen to your amazing video everyday till Wednesday of the exam this week. Thank you again for giving a plethora of information and examples AND BOLDING THE CRUCIAL INFO!!! Just finished the AP Test minutes ago and wanted to say *I am SUPER grateful.* I took AP Gov first semester and had not since reviewed any of it only until yesterday and so I came in this morning worried but came out of the test feeling victorious. It makes me feel like that first semester of rigorously taking notes, making flashcards, and memorizing those cases a while ago had not been in vain.

YO, I went through my class semester, did all the work, and passed the class, but by the time the exam rolled through I forgot all of the major concepts. So, the weekend before the AP Exam on Monday, I did not do any other form of studying but watch this video.
I saw this whole video like 3 times in the course of the weekend and a final time the morning before the exam.
While I was taking it, I consistently thought of different points from this video and drew a lot from it; I was confident.
Today I finally got my score and I got a 4.
I just want to say THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING ADAM NORRIS :’) 🙌🏼

Ended up with a 4, I was a bit disappointed last year when I didn't get the 5 (dedicated my senior year to GoPo). In college now though, so I don't mind all that much haha
Last pointers that probably pushed me from a 3 to a 4: Go to the College Board website and read the essay examples from previous years. Multiple choice will be a walk in the park as long as you know the information in this video. Here's a link to the College Board free-response questions: apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/members/exam/exam_information/2086.html.
Good luck and may the AP Gods be ever in your favor! :)

This was the best spend 53 minutes and 47 seconds of my life. Honestly, I thought I was going to fail and was doing last minute reviews the night before and this ended up being THE ONLY study tool I used. I was really nervous when I walked into the exam room but when I finished taking the test, I felt like I got a 5 because of your video. You covered so much I have never even heard about and really condensed what we actually need to know to succeed on this exam in less than an hour and I am so grateful for that. Sir, I think you just saved my butt and helped me get a 4 or 5.

ngl i took my ap gov test yesterday and your video definitely bumped me from like a 2 or a 3 to a 4 or a 5. Roughly 15-18 questions i learned watching your video the night before. Thank you!
