Their children met one another. General Iroh, Zuko's grandson, might have been under Bumi's fleet and he claims to have been saved by Aang himself once. Tenzin and Lin also used to date. So the parents must have met so often when they were before their Senior years. They are never directly on screen together in the current Korra era. However Aang, Toph, and Sokka are all seen together in flashbacks to the founding of Republic city. Katara on the other-hand, is conspicuously absent, indicating that she may have been busy raising Her and Aang’s 3 kids. Toph was always more of a free spirit type, while also being unbending, and considering that her two daughters are only half sisters that shows that she may have been left to raise the two kids on her own, and they both represent the two halves of Toph’s own personality. Then we have Sokka, of whom I’m more curious about what happened between him and Suuki, as we never actually hear about their kids. Well its like in real life.. we grow apart but when u see eachother even if its a one time in ten years, you still have a friendship. Thats the real way how real friendship lasts
It's stated in 2 occasion in Korra's series that Zuko and Aang became best friends they probably hanged put a lot. Tenzin and tophs daughter dated for a bit so they they most defnetly met often and Zakka was a political leader who probably worked close with Toph. I think they just kinda went their onw ways with the occasional monthly meet up.
I mean yea I highly doubt they would miss the birth of each other’s kids but also everyone (except Sokka he was already dead) had to have been at Aang’s funeral
Zuko definitely visits Katara in the third season. He literally visits the South Pole personally to check with Tanraq about the prison where Pli is held, after hearing Zaheer escaped from the other prison.
They couldn’t show it on screen because the ATLA gaang is objectively more interesting, well-written, and diverse than anyone in the entire Korra series and it would undermine the entire rest of the show.
Sokka, Aang, Kamara, and Toph all lived in Republic City at the same time. Zuko likely visited often too, what do you mean they never had a reunion? It likely wasn't until after Aang's death that Katara moved back to the South Pole and Toph moved to the swamp. Sokka had also likely died around the same time.
Well their kids knew each other and they built and lived in the same city so of course they came together a lot. I like to believe Katara helped deliver Zuko and tophs kids
Toph I can see doing that. She also kept connected through the roots and vines remember. So she totally would’ve just ignored them and laughed as they probably mention her while zuko and katara talk 😂
Don't forget that Zuko has a daughter, he mentioned it in the series, so hopefully they'll get back making more episodes of that, and hopefully, we get to meet his daughter in that series, I would like to know who she takes after❤❤
Well yeah. They all lived in Republic City together (except Zuko) you can see this in Aangs's memory of the bloodbender trial and you can hear about it when Tenzin and Toph's kids talk about their youth. If this wasn't already obvious to you, you need to re-watch Korra and this time pay attention.
I've read a lot of theories on why Toph didn't get a field trip. The one I like the most states the reason the characters had personal field trips was so Zuko could atone for harassing them in season 1. Toph wasn't there yet. She didn't have a level of resentment toward him that the others did.
Why do people forget that the leader of the fire nation (zukos daughter) was also shown in legends of korra?? Like her and tenzin know each other, so obviously zuko and aang were still buds in the future!!
When know that Zuko and Katara met in the South Pole when Korra was a little girl. And in one short comic, Katara and Toph joined their grandkids and Team Avatar for a trip to the beach.
They didn't grow apart they are 85 they aren't going to do weekly dinners at age 85 People who are 40 or 50 and have been friends with their friends since high school or middle school don't even talk no more or get together yearly. They are 85.
The closest to a reunion for them was a flashback to when they were in court when Aang was alive to lock up and remove the bending of someone for using forbidden bending
i actually like that because it made each encounter more meaningful instead of just a fanservicey "look guys it's the old gang! say hi to the old gang, now say bye" like some shows tend to do
It’s called all of them going off to do their own things in the world. They weren’t kids forever. Zuko became Fire Lord. Toph ran a metal bending school and the law enforcement of RC.
I mean I think they were good friends well into adulthood but retired in their homes which are far and now they’re busy and old so it’s harder. Zuko is like what? In his 80s or something. Probably got back problems which is why he always on that dragon
Just like how Star Wars Ep 7 to 9 failed to give Han, Luke and Leia a proper reunion. TLOK is the series we thought we deserved but later realized we never actually wanted. 😒
Tlok had a lot of potential...it could show us so much more but they didn't and focused on expanding and bringing new characters in pretty much every season...which pretty shadowed the existing characters like mako, bolin and asami in some sorts...they could've stayed grounded just like the atla and wait until the final season for big bad villain and an all out war ...they should've took their time developing their characters properly and gove them a proper ending instead of focusing on bigger and bigger threats... that's why even in the final season it felt incomplete
Katara def met up with Toph... Toph alluded to it when talking to Korra (?) cuz she mentioned the civil war... she says something to the effect of "that's why you didn't see Katara mess around with that civil war nonsense. At some point, you gotta leave it to the kids." Meaning that they must've met up and talked and caught up 😅
Toph was alone in the woods till the very end, after Katara died off camera, and Zuko was the king of the fire nation, so basically he was always busy, except for when he tried to keep the Red Lotus in jail
I know Zuko was at Prince Wu coronation or Verrick’s wedding but I can’t remember if Katara was. I feel like if they were gonna reunite those would have been the best times thematically. It is unfortunate they all grew apart.
Their old they respect each other's privacy. Specially not to mention Zuko and Katara is both bussy in their own nation. Toff (don't mind the spelling I'm bad at it) on the other hand just beginning I guess to tap onto something like General Iroh in ATLA. Katara and Zuko are pretty much confirmed to have kept in contact since Fire Nation trainers were being regularly sent to Korra in the South Pole
They just old and flying is hard on their backs. Someone needa invent teleportation bending lmao
I mean yea I highly doubt they would miss the birth of each other’s kids but also everyone (except Sokka he was already dead) had to have been at Aang’s funeral
But yeah kataras and tophs kids were friends and tenzin dated on of them so I think they met
Zuko definitely visits Katara in the third season. He literally visits the South Pole personally to check with Tanraq about the prison where Pli is held, after hearing Zaheer escaped from the other prison.
That was the North Pole.
They couldn’t show it on screen because the ATLA gaang is objectively more interesting, well-written, and diverse than anyone in the entire Korra series and it would undermine the entire rest of the show.
It's true
I mean we all seen it when naruto and Sasuke carry the boruto series.
They couldnt show because its not their show.
@@TouAngel312 totally agree
@@ManuraAriyathilake What ?!
THE SHOW NEVER SAID THEY AVOIDED EACH OTHER PLUS THERE KIDS ARE FRIENDS MEANING THEY MUST HAVE ALL GROWN UP TOGETHER
They must have had a falling out when Sokka was killed.
Sokka wasn’t killed at least there was no mention of him getting killed. Where did you get that from?
@@DiDi-xq6pe It just feels like it was implied in one of the episodes it's been awhile since I watched it.
@@DiDi-xq6peerr...it was written on comics by a blood bender
Sokka, Aang, Kamara, and Toph all lived in Republic City at the same time. Zuko likely visited often too, what do you mean they never had a reunion? It likely wasn't until after Aang's death that Katara moved back to the South Pole and Toph moved to the swamp. Sokka had also likely died around the same time.
Maybe there should be a spin off series when they’re middle aged that shows them becoming parents, working adults, etc
itd goint to br a movie
Gonna be honest. Sounds quite boring
Well their kids knew each other and they built and lived in the same city so of course they came together a lot. I like to believe Katara helped deliver Zuko and tophs kids
I personally think they said in contact during the events of Kora
Toph I can see doing that. She also kept connected through the roots and vines remember. So she totally would’ve just ignored them and laughed as they probably mention her while zuko and katara talk 😂
I can see Katara saying something like “I wonder if she is alright” or “Remember when she did-“ and Toph would totally laugh like her silly self
Little Kya has kid Aang's face 😭❤️
Don't forget that Zuko has a daughter, he mentioned it in the series, so hopefully they'll get back making more episodes of that, and hopefully, we get to meet his daughter in that series, I would like to know who she takes after❤❤
You know she actually appears in Legend of Korra (i think in season 4?)
Or when Aang died
Toph and Katara's kids had a relationship. They knew each other and grew up together. They were all on the Republic city council.
WHERE'S SOKKA!?!?
sokka might of passed at old age sadly :(
@@pikminlover1015murdered
Well yeah. They all lived in Republic City together (except Zuko) you can see this in Aangs's memory of the bloodbender trial and you can hear about it when Tenzin and Toph's kids talk about their youth. If this wasn't already obvious to you, you need to re-watch Korra and this time pay attention.
I guess Toph gave up on that life changing field trip with Zuko 😢
With as much as she slept around they probably did do something eventually.
That's why I hate Korra
Katra and Aangs family ended up the cutest family I've ever seen ❤
Legend of Kora sucks
When know that Zuko and Katara met in the South Pole when Korra was a little girl. And in one short comic, Katara and Toph joined their grandkids and Team Avatar for a trip to the beach.
They didn't grow apart they are 85 they aren't going to do weekly dinners at age 85
People who are 40 or 50 and have been friends with their friends since high school or middle school don't even talk no more or get together yearly.
They are 85.
The closest to a reunion for them was a flashback to when they were in court when Aang was alive to lock up and remove the bending of someone for using forbidden bending
They were definitely in each others lives because the kids seemed to all grow up together. Tenzin and Lin even dated
i actually like that because it made each encounter more meaningful instead of just a fanservicey "look guys it's the old gang! say hi to the old gang, now say bye" like some shows tend to do
I remember when aang took down yakone adult sokka and toph was there so katara probably wasn’t far behind
It’s called all of them going off to do their own things in the world. They weren’t kids forever. Zuko became Fire Lord. Toph ran a metal bending school and the law enforcement of RC.
Well they were all living in central city as adults so yea. I assumed they all separated after aang and sokka died and then just lived out retirement
I mean I think they were good friends well into adulthood but retired in their homes which are far and now they’re busy and old so it’s harder. Zuko is like what? In his 80s or something. Probably got back problems which is why he always on that dragon
I mean, didn’t Toph say her connection to the spirit roots made it so that she could see everybody and keep tabs on them?
I need a cartoon that shows their teenage and adult life like what happened to them after Ozai
Katara def met up with Toph... Toph alluded to it when talking to Korra (?) cuz she mentioned the civil war... she says something to the effect of "that's why you didn't see Katara mess around with that civil war nonsense. At some point, you gotta leave it to the kids." Meaning that they must've met up and talked and caught up 😅
In some of the flashbacks in TLOK when we go to the court. We can see Sokka, Toph, and Aang in the room.
Aang, Toph, and Sokka all shared screen time together though during flashbacks scenes in the first season.
Sadly part of being adult is that you cant just see your best friends daily. I see my friends face to face like once a year bc they live far away. 😢
I don’t think it’s deliberate. I just don’t think they could schedule all 3 together to do voice work while keeping everything flowing
Their kids are pretty close friends so I'd say they kept in touch.
They probably have regular meeting and hold each others birthday parties
Their old they respect each other's privacy. Specially not to mention Zuko and Katara is both bussy in their own nation. Toff (don't mind the spelling I'm bad at it) on the other hand just beginning I guess to tap onto something like General Iroh in ATLA. Anyways some screen times with them individually is not bad at all.
