A lot of people have problems when it's time to connect on a 60th stitch.I guess it can be difficult to wrap your mind around where this connection is. I'm going to send you a video of another hat based on the same pattern. Look at the time stamp 7:56. In this video I show you in further detail where to connect. ruclips.net/video/ZexB7mrvJkM/видео.html ruclips.net/video/ZexB7mrvJkM/видео.html
thank u making this free.. was gonna look where i could purchase on ravalry.. thank u!! GOD BLESS U.. 💕💕
@@Swhoney2 your welcome 🥰
Well, just went to the written pattern and it’s not free.
@@silvialanus2103 the video pattern is free. Having a pay pattern help me support my channel and my family's income 😉
Making this hat again in off-white or a cream white I thought I wear it at night when it's cool and maybe space the stitches openly where it's not so tight so it looks springy.😍🤗🤔
You are an excellent teacher. I really appreciate you showing the beginning and end of a row, and not making us watch the whole row. Thanks much!
I did it! Think it may be the best thing ive ever made, love it! Thank you so much for the tutorial. ❤
What a great tutorial! You are a wonderful teacher! I have made several of your hats. All but one turned out great. Going to make this hat tomorrow morning at the cancer center. Thanks again.
I just made this hat today for my mother in law. I used a black yarn with gold for the border and a burgundy for the main, it turned out great. I added a big flower with a 3 pearl center. I had a little trouble with the row that started with the 120 stitches. I had to take out my work twice because it wasnt looking right. But once I figured it out, this pattern worked out beautifully. Thanks so much for sharing.
This pattern can be tough. I'm so happy it worked out for you!!! This is one of my favorite patterns. The details that you added sound beautiful
I crocheted this for my daughter and it’s adorable! Very easy to understand. Thank you
super erklärt!!! auch für nicht english speaker, klar und deutlich sehr schön...das probier ich gleich aus...
Is me again .This hat is very classy. I just kept looking at it. Good job!!
I finally got it after 4 tries. Persistence and patience. Lovely pattern. Thank you for your detailed instruction.
Sending this hat to my dear friend who has lost her hair from chemo treatment. She will love it.
Usually it takes a second for this pattern to "click" with creators. But once you get it!!! That is wonderful to create something by hand for a friend. This hat will give her some stylish pizzazz ❤️❤️ by the way it's reversible
Thank you letting me know it took 4 tries. I am in my second attempt the first one was a HOT MESS. I will not be defeated.
I am going to give this a third try tonight. I tried it twice yesterday, but I managed to get an extra twist.
Best tutorial ever! I feel almost sad that the cold season is over! On the good side, this leaves me plenty of time to prepare this wonderful hat for next winter, in plenty of colors. Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial ❤
Your hat is so different from what I have ever seen. It is beautiful. Looks hard to do but I am going to try it. I am 93 yrs of age and I have donated about 150 to cancer people, new born, and homeless one. You also are an excellent teacher.
So nice to hear from another crochet stitcher for charity. Since becoming handicap crocheting has become a way to feel useful. It also helps to distract me from PTSD.
I love me a good cloche. How come I Never even thought of crocheting one?!??! I’m so happy the inteweb gods brought me to you.
I love the speed in which you teach. I want to try this. Very good.
Even with the video I still had a hard time and I've been crocheting for years. I might try it again one day because I like the style.
My mom just made this hat and it's so stinking cute! She says your tutorial is the best on RUclips and you explain everything so clearly that even someone who doesn't crochet like me can follow along. Thank you!
I love this! My best friend of 30+ years loves this flapper girl style. Definitely, a gorgeous gift. Thank you very much!
I hope she will love her gift 🥰
You are so awesome. I am learning so much from you, and I am no novice! I can't give thanks enough! Please, I wish you all the best!!!
Thanks!
This is the first crochet anything l ever did and with a little help from my sister it turned out perfect l just finished now! can't wait to show it off thank you so much your instructions are impeccable.
This pattern was perfect!! I am a complete beginner when it comes to crochet. Before this, I had made one simple scarf and that was it. I was able to follow along through this tutorial from start to finish with ease! Everything was very concise, clear and easy to understand. I now have a lovely hat to pair with my scarf, and have learned more crochet techniques along the way!
Thank you for the video. I knitted two so far and they are so beautiful.
Thanks
You look beautiful in it ! I love this and am going to make it!your tutorials are so clear and love time stamps!
Absolutely Fabulous! ❤ I'm gonna make this in black & white.
I just finished it ,though I made some adjustments: hook 5mm, 6 rounds of fbdc and it turned out perfect. Thanks a lot.
Yesssssss thank you. This is a much better tutorial than the other hat I made like this
You're welcome. Alot of people had a problem with the last pattern. I tried to make this pattern more detailed.
I made the hat and to my surprise it turned out great. Love it. Thanks.
🥰
I am in love with this pattern! Have made 8 already in different colours the past week and still going on. I am constantly intrigued by the Mobius twist. Thanks for a wonderful pattern and excellent tutorial.
Please help figure out how to make twist I'm following directions but still don't come out right Please help Thank God Bless U
I love your explanation!! You haven't missed any detail, and yet, it's all moving fast enough, not like for idiots. Thank you for the awesome work! 😍
Восторг!Вы прелесть!!!! Здоровья вам и много энергии!!Подписываюсь сразу и насегда!
I know what I'm making for Christmas! Thank you Alysha!!!
I love your style, clear and concise. I will definitely check out more of your videos. One question, I just wanted to make sure this is a repeat of 2 and not 4. I have a large head and need 66 stitches for the circumference of my head.
same here, 60 stitches no matter how loose, is just too tight. I made this hat with no problem. Unfortunately, it is just too snug. Did you get an answe to starting with a larger chain?
@@shellyp4979 did ypu tried 66 chains? 60 is too small for me
Did you start the hat with 66 chains? 60 chains is too small for me
I greatly appreciate how well you described your actions, as well as the results. Thank you for your patience and sharing of your knowledge.
Oh my! I love your unique hats. Im excited to crochet it asap.
Thank you so much! I can't make a beanie to save my life but I managed this with no hassle. Your instructions were fantastic!
Thank you it took me 3x but i got it my hat is done thanks. Love it
Love your style of teaching.
Lovely!!! It seems quite intricate at first but after watching the video I think I can make it. This is definitely on my to do list.
Thank you very much.
Nice must do just in time for St.. Patrick's day
Thank you so much 😘
Love that style hat - the cloche is one of my faves! Thanks!
Hi there ... Finally got it! Struggled a bit at the twist point - mine was like yours but reversed... Anyway, just want to thank you for sharing your time and talent. You are such a kind and patient teacher... I love this cloche... thank you for sharing....
I'm so glad you figured it out. I don't know if I mentioned it or not in the video, but the hat is reversible. i'm sorry if I didn't. This hat can be a tricky pattern.
Hi there, I've made two of your patterns..the crochet and the beret..I want you to know how much I appreciate the way you go step by step with CLEAR explanations...great work ! Thank you !!!
Thank you so much 🥰
Hi my lovely Littlejohn I love your hat and I am here making one for myself 🙏🏽🌹
oh Littlejohn! i'm so happy! I just finished the hat, and it turned out great! I really appreciated that still graphic you put in at the point where you start the crown. I would have been really lost without that. I love my contrasting color. And the cotton yarn worked out fine. Thanks!!!!
thank you! I created this tutorial before without the color change....It was bad...nobody could figure out the pattern, lol. I'm so happy this pattern worked for you
Thank you so much for sharing this pattern.😊
Thank you for this pattern, I love the look of the nineteen twenties hats, I think I will make myself a few in different colors 🥰.
Super cute hat. Wish me luck as I try to make it! Thanks for posting.
I am so glad you’re talented to do this because I would’ve been stuck just looking at it I’ve seen them a lot of times and admire them I’m so glad I have found your channel keep up the good work girl or should I say lady
Thank you Patsy. You made my day😊
Hello again, I was wondering if you would do a video on how to crochet the flat cap? You explain things so clear and concise.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work
This is awesome. Easy to follow and a great looking, warm hat. I made one for one friend, and then all my other friends wanted one too!
This is so pretty! Why is this just coming across my feed. I can't Wait to make this, today!
Love this hat and the video was so clear. I made one for my niece and going to make one for myself but I'm going to have to increase the sides to at least 16 rows as the size as shown is waaaayyyy too short/ shallow for me. I do have a big head though😊
Was 60 chains enough for you? My 60 chains measured 20 inch, too small for me
@@Pecas_Love no. It was very tight. I'll need to increase it to 23 inches I think and go from there. My hook size and tension were fine. Good pattern, just needs a bit of trial and error on head size. My niece is 11 btw.
@@angelacopp9990 thanks! So, depends on the number of chains is going to be half of them when starting decreasing for the crown? She had 120 and took 60 for the crown
Waouh ! I love this hat ! So smart. Thank you
I am starting to a big fan of your tutorials and designs. Anxious to try this hat!, thank you
Thank you so much, i'm glad you like my patterns
This is Adorable!!! Thank you for sharing 🙏🏼
Love it. Thank you. You are very good with instructions and made it so easy to follow.
Thank you so much!

Finished it in the middle of the night. I love this hat!! Thank you so much for the tutorial with your joyful and pleasant voice ☺️
Very good tutorial. I think it is clear and I will be able to make it without confusion.
Thank you, the pattern and stitches use is very simple. There's one tricky stitch that alot of people get stuck on. It's literally 1 stitch, lol @9:30 give it a peak before u start. 50% get it easily. I have my fingers crossed for you🥰🥰❤️
That is such a pretty hat, and you have made it look so easy, I definitely need to try this, thanks. I have also liked and subscribed. From the UK 😊
OMG!!! outstanding...the color combination is awesome....thank you so very much for taking the time out of your busy schedule for another great tutorial....
you're welcome Elizabeth
🇬🇧 Very well produced tutorial. Thank you.
That's cute. Something to add to my "must make" list.
Thank you 🥰
This is the coolest! I’m going to give it a try. Fingers crossed!
I used your other pattern to make this hat. I loved it, but I was so unsure of myself because it got confusing to me when it was time to make the crown. I was confused from transitioning from the figure-eight to the crown. However, in this video the contrasting colors made it so much easier for me to follow. Thank you Littlejohn!
You're welcome. I heard you guys, many had trouble with the last pattern. I tried to make this one more detailed,
Brilliant pattern and clear teaching. Thank you! 💕
Gorgeous!
Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for the easy to follow instructions. Much appreciated.
Thank you so much 😘
I love your videos! You are so easy to follow! I am a visual learner and you are a great teacher! Thank you I can’t wait o make this adorable hat for my daughter!
Thank you so much Peri-Sue
I really like this hat and can't wait to make it. This will make a great gift. Thank you
Thank you so much! ☺💗
Absolutely love your tutorials. Very clearly explained. Made this hat for myself. Love the 20's vibe.God bless.💗
Thank you so much for trying my patterns
Thank you for this very beautiful.I will try.God bless you.
Thank you for detail tutorial. Love the patter 🙏💕
I have made this hat from your other pattern that was solid and color and after I started with this one I noticed back on the second part of the hat the 7th row when you go you start 10:00 and then next Rose nine eight and from eight you jump to three you do three double front post double and then you get two together for a decrease but it according to your instructions on the pattern it said that after row eight you do seven you do seven front post double Post front post double crochet and then you do the decrease of two together so and then you do like two two and two so the way I it's easy for me is to start at the tan one row 987 and then two two and two that's 14 rows before you connect the two together it was seven at the beginning are and then seven at the end with two more at it for the separation of the colors that's kind of confusing but look at the pattern and see how it's different than your instructions thank you I love this pattern..❤️🥰💃🚴🚴
This was my second crochet project and it worked out soooo well, it is super cute!! At one point I was losing hope that it would look cute, but when I put it on my head, it looks soooo nice. Thank you thank you thank you for sharing this! You are awesome!!
That is an awesome hat! Looks so elegant!
Thank you for an inspiring tutorial. My little niece loves her hat. I am making another for a friend who is going through a tough time. I hope to cheer her up with this cute hat. Wonderful project during Shelter-in-Place.
Loved following your tutorial
Thank you 😊
the best tutorial ever! thank you/
Thank you for this tutorial. Love this hat.

*note to left handed crocheters: your hat is going to be opposite of hers. Don't concentrate on getting your overlap on the right, it should be on the left or it won't attach correctly*
(No offense to any left handed persons who might not have made the same silly mistake)
But....
That time I had to frog an entire hat because my left handed mind forgot to reverse one minor detail while watching a video 😒
(That's okay, I've had to rewrite written patterns to accommodate and have also frogged much larger pieces for various eccentric reasons 😂)
I will try this hat again. I made the first one and it turned out great. Thank you so much 🤗🤗
I'm glad you like the first pattern. Quite a few people had trouble following it. So I decided to make a more detailed version of the pattern. I went up a hook size & reduced the original number of stitches.
Thanks, the first one, took me a while, but I did it. I’ve only been crocheting about a year when I did the first one🤗🤗
@@cortheniabolin7363 you mastered that pattern as a newbie?🙌🙌 You have skills😎
This is the perfect hat for my mom. I can't wait to start this...and I hope I finish it. That's my problem.
Finishing project is a problem of mine also, lol.
Beautiful hat. Thank you.
Great pattern and very well explained tutorial. I'll make that hat with red yarn to my red coat. Thank you. Greetings from Poland.
Hi Monika, thank you for stopping by my channel

Thank you littlejohn. You're awesome 😍😍
Just to let you know I am new at this but I am just loving it I am crocheting away hibernating in this cold weather keeps me busy crocheting
@@selfhealherbs13ms You are new at this?!? This pattern is tough on veterans. This is the 2nd time I've made this tutorial because people's just couldn't get it. I just released this pattern & people are still having a hard time. I applaud u👏your a natural 🥰
@@LittlejohnsYarn thank you very much I am so happy that I finally got it and going to make another in a different color. Thanks again for your time on the second video. And I just love your voice and patience your so...sweet have a wonderful week.🤗 your the 💣
I love this hat.. Thank you so much!
Your video has all the elements that is needed to make this glorious and stunning hat. It looks so chic and a must have for the holidays and beyond. Really a fantastic tutorial, God bless you👍👏
I love it. Excellent craftsmanship...God bless...Tamala
Ooh this hat is super cute!!
Thank you
You're welcome.
I don't know about the first pattern, but this one is blissful taught👏👏👏Now a lefty like myself working from the inside of the hat. For example, when I got to my front post stitch I was looking at it from the backside. I had my figure 8 though. I'll have to figure that one out. However, I am loving these hats! You slayed this. Keep sharing your blessings (talent)....Great Job!!
Thank you! Very good tutorial.
Love your tutorials. this hat is a must-make!!
Thank you so much Aneela...I just love your name, its so pretty😍
Thankou for very good instructions
Great pattern!
wow!! I cant wait to try this , thanks
Made one of these hats fairly easily with your tutorial. Your instructions are very clear, and I appreciated the row counting that you did. I was wondering if you have any recommendations for the counting if you need to size up the hat? I have a bigger head and this pattern is too snug for me.
It was too small for me also! Could we just add 10 more stitches and that might add an extra branched decrease section in the top ???
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial!💕 Even though I'm just a beginner, the hat turned out amazing and I can't wait to show it to everyone! All three steps were very clear and I think you gave us a very detailed tutorial ☺️
Thank you again and greetings from Italy ~🇮🇹
