Good to know, thanks! We're planning to do a full step-by-step video on the process the next time we have a Jeep come in with broken door handles, so hopefully more folks will get to see there's an alternative to spending $700+ a door to fix the problem.
Thanks for mentioning us in the video. We now have the interior door handle assemblies that include the handle already installed with the return spring. It can be found by a quick Google search by typing in "ZT100 Door Handles". We also have the interior door handles for the Commanders also. They have the same problem with brittle plastic breaking away causing the door handle to become dangerously inoperable. BTW we are in Florida too. Keep us mind for your tool needs as well as the handles.
Also, we had a discussion earlier today about the alternator clutch on a customer's Dodge Caliber, and one of the things mentioned was DenLors' method for repairing the alternator without having to replace it. (I smell another video...)
