What we have here is an introduction to PyC, fronted by Tine van Houts and shown by NOS on Dutch television on 11.8.92, preceding the first episode they broadcast. Starting with 1988 episodes they were going to go through four episodes per week, and the special introduction aimed to ease people into watching a continuing series which NOS started showing from a point where it had been running for over a decade. It didn't last - the final episode I can find with a quick search was shown 25.9.92. Quite surprised to see this was the BBC's own production, going by the VT clock. Interesting upload! Thanks.
I think this was a time when the BBC was trying to increase its international appeal in light of the upcoming charter renewal- BBC Enterprises (as it was known back then) attempted to increase the number of exports.
