Jonathan is for me the chosen one, the protector of humanity and the most heroic hero in the entire anime.
Sure, his descendants have a heroic impact but no one of them will surpass Jonathans willpower or strength.
Without him and his body, what gave the Joestar bloodline their stands was the only reason to let them defend themselves because Joseph was the only human hamon warrior but he couldn’t teach what he learned.
Without Jonathan, the Joestars would be dead and humanity would be damned with Dio and his vampires.

honestly, he is my favorite JoJo, the most heroic one, who was tormented by dio for his entire life, killing his dog, stealing his girl, poisoning his dad, and still, he had the willpower to fight and sacrifice himself to save erina, and joseph's parents. Had a honorable death while holding dio on his hands like if it was his daughter or something, his determination reminds me of simon from gurren lagann (wich is one of my favorite animes) and that's why he is my favorite jojo, Jonathan is right on my heart

I remember that I had to make a motivational speech for grade 10. I used this theme to play as I do my speech, with a projector playing a (with no sound) video of soaring above the clouds. As I was practicing my speech while playing the theme, It was so good, how the pace, tempo and words fit in with the song so well, I got chill myself from just practicing. And as the day I arrived for my class to do their speech, I went last and for a good reason. It was SOOO good it changed everyone's face as if they were paying alot of attention to my speech. Even the English teacher herself was entertained and motivated, as she described it as "theatrical". I wanted to use this theme for my speech, because Jonathan is my favorite jojo and the theme itself made me feel as heroic, brave, enthusiastic and (most importantly) gentlemanly. I was so happy after that moment.

You know in The eyes of heaven video game Jolyne never actually said a rough word to Jonathan at all period.
People forget that even though Jonathan was extremely caring, compassionate and merciful even for those who wanted to hurt him (Speedwagon when they met and Bruford when he said he was in pain), he also had a terrible fury when you pissed him off and that fury was directed against those who hurt others. When Tarkus hurts Poco and leads to Zeppelli's death you see Jonathan gets furious and loses his mercy and is straight up intent on killing him. When he confronts Dio at Windknight's lot and tells him he's returned from hell (as in the hell Dio put him through) you see his face and it's the angriest he's ever being because he wants to avenge everyone that died because of Dio.
I just loved that he was furious at Dio and had the intention of killing Dio for all that he did and yet after he thought he actually killed him, he still cried for him because he had known Dio all his life and they grew up together. And then at the burning ship after Erina escapes with baby Lisa Lisa and Jonathan thinks he'll die with Dio, he decides to make peace with him.
Then add the fact that he's a little mischievous, had a very lonely due to Dio messing up his relationships, has bad table manners despite being a gentleman, and is a total goofball, how can't I love this guy. Even in the Eyes of Heaven game most of the characters that share dialogue with him instantly like him. Teenage edgy Jotaro even likes him and mentions how strong he is even without a stand.

Going back to phantom blood after watching so much of the rest of the series, Jonathan’s theme stands out wildly from the others as the only one who is represented by an entire brass band. His theme serves to underscore his singular defining trait as “the hero” in a way that no other jojo is

When Jonathan defeats Tanjiro in Death Battle:
It was a really good episode, and had one of the few shows of respect after death in the show alongside with Superman catching Goku and Might Guy complementing All might
I like to imagine that if he actually met Tanjiro, the two would hit it off immediately, mostly due to both of them being such nice guys (actually nice guys, not a “NiceGuy”™️), and due to Tanjiro’s dedication to keeping Nezuko safe. Like, even if they did fight and Jonathan won, he’d just go over to Tanjiro, hold his hand out and smile, be all, “Good match”, that kind of thing.

This man...is on another level. No JOJO comes close when it comes to honor. This man defeated his brother who hated his guts, tried to kill him multiple times, and even killed his father, and even so, he cried as he watched him fall. No JOJO comes close. Mad respect you gentleman.
Is also THE ONLY HUMAN BEING PHYSICALLY STRONG ENOUGH TO WRESTLE AND IMPALE AN UNDEAD TO A STATUE. Seriously, none of his physical strength feats is surpassable even when physically stronger characters such as Cyborg Stroheim or the Pillar Men came around.
He even hugged his brother's severed, living head while dying from a wound he inflicted, in a way that portrayed that Jonathan was happy to see him, and still thought of him as his brother after everything he's done

This guy was literally so powerful he created a system of stands to give to all of his relatives which spanned literal universes!
When it starts playing you already know that next scene is going to be one of the most epic
Sometimes I don’t want a flawed character I can relate too. Sometimes, I want someone to look up to, to aspire to be. People like Jonathan and Superman are the type of person I want to be. Kind, brave, strong, and respectful to everyone, including his foes. This is why Jonathan is my favorite Joestar. His gentle, yet fierce nature, his determination to help others, and strong sense of justice.

And here writers keep thinking they need to make superman "interesting" by stripping him of all that paragon goodness.
There is an endless amount of stories written about how the hardships of the world will break a person. Characters like Steve Rogers, Superman, All Might, and Johnathan Joestar remind us that its possible to overcome them, and to help others overcome them as well, as well as the important lesson that being nice is not even remotely the same thing as being weak.

This man deserves more respect, he is the strongest Joestar ever to exist. We would not have any of the Joestars if it wasn't for him. There would also be no Dio and he would not be re-incarnated as Johnny Joestar. Because of him we have Jotaro Kujo, Dio Brando, Giorino Giavana. Speed Waaaaaagoooooooooooon, Joseph Joestar, or any of the other amazing characters. If Jonathan Joestar did not battle Dio, all of the Jojos would not be here.

Josuke always gets emotional when it's about his hair or if someone hurts his friends. In the fight with this paper stand, he admitted that he fell in the enemys trap although he knew, because there was a tiny possibility that koichi would get killed, that's why.
Although Bucciarati is the leader of the gang, Giorno comes up with ideas and strategies that make the members use their powers to full extent. He is also admired by the others except Abbacchio. He has charisma like Dio.

Jonathon was the strongest jojo cuz of his theme he could be cut in half then hit by a truck but when his theme came on he had a plan to win
@@mrsnow4444 I could see that happening, possibly something like hitting the ground with enough force because of hamon, and knowing the rock he hit is normally hollow or weak but has alot of space under it for a case like this, then, using some grass or leaves to do what happened with that leaf glider thing, but as a shield.
